Hello and welcome to another episode of Rad Mom Radio!

This week my guest is Rino Murata - Rino is a stepmom to 2, mom to 3 in a blended family with her most beloved, best friend, passionate lover husband. Her kids ages range from 11-18, 4 of them boys and 1 girl.

Rino was prepared to be a traditional tiger mom, but her kids had other plans, and life fell apart for her. Two of her children are neurodivergent and her parenting mission became to raise them as who they were born as in their authenticity. School didn’t work for her kids so homeschool came up when her eldest son was 9, and Unschooling soon followed. She believes unschooling was one of the best things that happened to her and her boys, and the unschooling principle has affected every single aspect of hers and her boys lives in the most amazing ways she never could have imagined.

Rino's biggest takeaway through unschooling was Trust, and this is one of the core pillars in her life and in her work as a relationship success coach for men and women. Rino is a certified trauma-informed coach who will pick up on the nuances of trauma and safely guide her clients to move forward and live the life they truly desire. She is originally from Tokyo and now lives in North Vancouver, British Columbia.
