Think You Don’t Gossip? We Have News For You
Feb 07, 2023 Episode 18
Shane Wallace & Morgan Berna

#18 - If you think you should just skip this episode because you don’t gossip, we have news for you: We all do it. Gossip is a natural response we have when we feel threatened, but it can cause harm when we start to rely on it. Gossip at its least destructive creates a hum of discomfort in the workplace, but at its most severe it can be used as a destructive manipulation tactic to destroy someone’s reputation. In this episode, we talk about what gossip actually is (most of us get this wrong), why it’s so harmful in the workplace, and what you can do to work on gossip issues both at work and at home.
