Daniel K. Williams is a professor of history at the University of West Georgia and the author of Defenders of the Unborn: The Pro-Life Movement before Roe v. Wade and God's Own Party: The Making of the Christian Right.  His articles have appeared in Christianity Today, First Things, the New York Times, and the Washington Post.  He blogs at the Anxious Bench (Patheos).

Today we will talk about the history of the pro-life movement before Roe v. Wade, its roots in social justice, what changes with Roe v. Wade now overturned, and what happens in exceptional circumstances including rape.
