Christina Mossaides Strassfield, the ‘Let’s Get it Done’ Executive Director of Southampton Arts Center (SAC), celebrates the everlasting impact of art and culture. With 29 years of experience at Guild Hall, in East Hampton, serving as a museum director and chief curator, Christina reflects on her clear and direct path into the art world, beginning with childhood visits to museums, fueled by a passion for storytelling. She shares the dynamic art scene in the Hamptons, from the musical chairs of institutions to the thriving summer season programs and community-building mission at Southampton Arts Center. Some of the recent exhibitions, including the iconic photography by Harry Benson and the panel series and exhibit of the "Change Agents," featuring women collectors breaking new ground in the art world. A passionate leader dedicated to providing art experiences for all ages, believing that exposure to art at an early age hooks them for life.
