Today is an invaluable topic that too many men are not effectively dealing with.   God calls us to be good managers/stewards of what He gives us.   A steward is a responsible manager of the “things” entrusted to us by God.  Titus 1:7 tells us an overseer (steward) must be above reproach, self-controlled, and disciplined.   The Bible has at least 148 verses on Stewardship.  That same Bible has over 2,000 verses on money.

Our guest today started his financial planning/investment company more than 20 years ago and has some key  learnings. 

Some men feel they are too young to start planning for their financial future.  Some men feel they are too old, and it is too late.  Dan uses the story of:  When is the best time to plant a tree – 20 years ago. When is the second best time to plant a tree – right now?  This means that no matter where you are in your financial planning and investing journey, now is the time to get help to ensure you get where you want to go.
