Thomas Kies is the author of the critically acclaimed Geneva Chase mystery series. In 2022, he was Edgar nominated by the Mystery Writers of America for the Sue Grafton Memorial Award for his book Shadow Hill. He has a long history of working for newspapers and magazines, primarily in New England and New York and currently lives and writes on Bogue Banks, a barrier island on the coast of North Carolina where he lives with his wife Cindy and their shi-tzu Annie.
