Bruce Djite joins the Lumin Sports High Performance Project to chat about his career as a professional footballer, life as a youngster growing up in America and the Ivory Coast before moving to Australia. Bruce was always focused on his dream to play top tier football and his drive to experience football culture all over the world.
Bruce played close to 300 games at international level including close to 30 caps for the Socceroos, before retiring where he is now the Director of Football at the Adelaide United Football Club. Bruce is a passionate South Australian and has played a pivotal part in the development of Football both on and off field in the state. In this episode we spoke through the cultural vision for the Adelaide United Football Club and the preparations as the club goes through a growth phase before the 2023 Women's World Cup and a redevelopment at Hindmarsh Stadium the home of South Australian Football.
