Couch Church - Healing on the Sabbath

This week Rev. Mandy reflects on Luke 13:10-17.  A story of Jesus healing a woman bent over by an unclean spirit in the synagogue on the sabbath day.  This woman was bound up and in bondage but the love and compassion of Jesus set her free to enter into the intent of Sabbath - rest and freedom.  

We too can be bound up by rules and wonky thinking that prevents us from entering into God's rest.  Jesus came to set us free from all that binds us up, that we might be renewed in our thinking to love God and others, and receive freedom and rest in him.
