MY LIFE, HIS LIFE
Hello, and welcome to Divine Moments with Dr. Lucresa, where faith meets everyday life with power and purpose. I'm your host, Dr. Lucresa Anderson of Divine Ministries in Christ, and I’m so glad you’ve joined me today.
Let’s take just a few moments to talk about a powerful truth that will transform how you live and how you see yourself:
“My Life, His Life.”
Galatians 2:20 says:
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
This verse is more than words—it’s a spiritual declaration. When we accept Christ, our old life doesn’t just improve—it dies. And in its place, Jesus begins to live through us.
Think about that:
- My plans are exchanged for His purpose.
- My weakness is exchanged for His strength.
- My confusion becomes clarity through His Spirit.
This is not a partial makeover. This is a complete takeover.
The life I now live is no longer mine—but His, through me. And how do I live it? Not by striving, not by trying harder, but by faith. Faith in the One who loved me enough to give His life for mine.
Real Life Application
So, what does this look like in everyday life?
It means when I speak, I ask the Lord to speak through me.
When I work, I remember that I work for Him.
When I face trials, I stand firm—not because I’m strong, but because He is strong in me.
It’s a divine exchange.
And let me tell you—when you surrender your life to Christ fully, He doesn’t just improve it—He inhabits it.
So, I challenge you today—what are you holding on to? What parts of your life still have your name on them?
Lay them down.
And let the risen Christ live His victorious life through you.
Let’s pray together:
Father, today we lay our lives down. We surrender every fear, every plan, every broken part. Come live through us, Jesus. Let Your will be our desire, and Your strength our source. Not my life—but Your life in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Thank you for spending these few divine moments with me. If this blessed you, share it with someone you love. And remember: When your life becomes His life, everything changes.
Until next time, keep walking by faith. This is Dr. Lucresa Anderson—God bless you.
Thank you for tuning in today. I pray that you walk away encouraged, knowing that God delights in you. If you’ve been blessed by today’s message, please share it with someone who might need a reminder of God’s love. Until next time, stay encouraged and remember, God is always with you.
