Um, so before we get into your story, I would just love for you to share a little bit about yourself and then we'll get started.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, okay. Thanks, Kristen. I'm so excited to be here. And yes, so I just want to say um when you came and you spoke in my group, it was so impactful. And I can't remember, maybe it was Passover last year. I'm not quite sure. Yeah, and so I kind of feel there's a full circle moment. And yeah, I just want to bless you and just everything that that you're doing, just bringing hope to people. Yeah, it's really powerful. So thank you for doing that. I appreciate those kind words. Yeah, yeah. Okay, well, my name is Rufka Kavany, and um, so just a little bit about myself. Um and

Rivka’s Breakthrough And Ministry Calling

SPEAKER_02

I'm married. I'm I'm 60, I'll be 60, yeah, in a couple weeks. Yeah. And um, well, I'd be I will be 61. Um that's what happens. Yeah. So, and I I just got married for the first time when I was 59 in December. Yeah. So that's a pretty big breakthrough, I would say, and um uh, you know, a hope-deferred thing that happened for for me. But uh, we have a ministry, it's called Solid House Ministry Ministries. And so um, it's mostly my husband, he had this ministry, you know, before he's been widowed twice, so I'm his third, you know, third wife. And and so the ministry is called Solid House Ministries, where he um promotes um the bride of Christ in in people like getting maturing sons and daughters in Christ and discipling so that they can um disciple others. And so we have you know a ministry thing that we're building here. We have a dome here, a geodesic dome, and it's going to be the ministry center and also um house of prayer. I'm a big house of prayer girl, so um that's um my heart too. So for me to be able to go there and um to have what we would call like a set for Israel. I love Israel and I um I'm an advocac advocate for Israel, and um just kind of like the harp and bowl model. So I'm starting to actually teach some younger, just one right now, um, guitar, but I'm really pretty elementary myself. I mean, I'm still learning, but you know, you might as well. It's a great way to learn. So, and then I also have a Facebook group. It's called Breakthrough Holy Fire, and we like the breakthrough name, right? And yeah, and so um it's just a group where anybody can come in and just share about breakthroughs for ladies only. And I'm also an inner healing minister, and then I also have an internship for an inner healing mentorship. So I have a group of ladies who who um are growing together and learning how to minister to each other, to their families, and then go on and change their change their world. So it's been amazing. So that's about me.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, quite a powerhouse couple here, uh you guys listening in. Tell me where are you guys located? Um, so does he disciple men and you're discipling the women in essence? Am I hearing that?

SPEAKER_02

Oh well, so you know, our marriage is kind of new, so we had to do that melding together thing. And and so when his um, you know, his second wife passed away, um, he just did ministry like over Zoom. And so now like we're coming into, you know, the dome, it's not finished yet. So um we wait, you know, for the finances to come in. Um sometimes we put our own finances and things or in ministry we do, but like the building part, we actually wait until there's finances there. So the dome, it's the dome, the outside. I mean, the structure is built, but the inside isn't actually finished yet. But he does a lot of ministry on Zooms. Uh, just for example, a lady who I connected with through Messenger. Yeah, um, she's from Pakistan, so we got connected, and so now we're discipling some Pakistani leaders. So it's like it's by Zoom, and like I'm there supporting my husband and setting up the meetings and stuff. I'm not really actively like, you know, I'm basically there praying. Sometimes I have a prophetic word. And um, so so that's one thing. And he's like a father, he's like a father of fathers, or if that makes sense. Like he's a father of pastors. He pastored a church in in State Park. It's uh it was it's considered um like the ghetto of ghettos around St. Louis, and there were all kinds of miracles there, you know, like um all kinds of people getting healed, 160 drug lords got saved during that time. Yeah, and that was when, you know, then his first wife passed away. And so there was, you know, a transition then, and then he, you know, met his second wife, and then and then they were called to eminence. Yeah. And so it's more in the country. And so, um where was I going with that? Just um, yeah, there's a lot of ministry

Dome Vision Discipleship By Zoom

SPEAKER_02

going on with Zoom, and we do have a um like several churches in the St. Louis area that we speak into, and then he also has um like 30 leaders in Africa that him and another pastor oversee like their churches, and there's like 700 churches, so but it's not like a paid position, do you if you understand? It's just like he's just a papa, so pouring in, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And and and getting poured back into, I'm sure, in a different model than the world would like bring, you know, to say, oh, if you're pouring out, wouldn't you say? We were just talking about this before we got started a little bit about you know, the model in the world is like if you pour out, you need to get a return on your investment, typically financially. And in ministry, um, you know, you're building a dome, which is amazing. I love how you guys are waiting on the funds to come in. It's not like it's the god the god he is actually providing, right? But you're waiting on it. So, how has that looked for you? Have you had moments where I like to call it weight training? I don't know, I touched that before, like W A I T training. So when you got the vision or when your husband got the vision for this, um I would love to hear more about this vision. Just share more. I would love to hear more about it.

SPEAKER_02

Well, um, that's very interesting. And I have a little um maybe a little side take for that, the the weight training as you as I shared, you know. So I got married you know at 59, you know, and uh I was gonna go I wanted to ask you about that too, for sure. Okay, well, I you know, I've dated, obviously, you know, I thought that I was gonna be married, you know, maybe three or four different times, and um, and I really wanted to be married, but God just really protected me. And another part of that is that I didn't become a believer until I was 36. So I had a pivotal, you know, moment. So that was uh, you know, a little later in life, you know, for an a lot of people. And so to look back is like, wow, you know, that could have been, you know, that could have been like a disaster if I would have married that person, you know. But then I see other things, it's like, well, maybe I could you have led that person, or you know, maybe we would have got saved together, you just never know, or or whatever. But um, but and I've been on the mission field too, so I was a missionary for 10 years. So, you know, pee I would get words, oh, you're gonna meet your husband in Africa, and you know, this and that. And, you know, like I did meet someone in Africa, and I'm like, I'm not marrying that person, you know. So it's like, was I being disobedient? Could have been. There were a couple people where someone said, I mean, there were kind of like some things that happened, and and I was like, uh I think that's a familiar spirit, that's what I would say. So, so, so maybe I was disobedient or you know, it was a familiar spirit. So that's you know, have discernment. So for sure. And and so last year, or not last year, it was two Passovers ago, which is this is very interesting because you spoke, I I believe it was before Passover, every every Jewish holiday, biblical and um Jewish holiday, I have a I do an event in in my group, Breakthrough Holy Fire Fire, because God told me to do that. And and I get to teach a little bit about some hebraic um hebraic uh like teachings or whatever, you know, messianic, something messianic. Uh, but I don't go too in depth because you know, everyone's not there, they're not so much interested really, they're more interested in, you know, the breakthrough or um the speaker. So, and I'm I'm sure I'm very off track from your question. Do you want me to continue? Okay. All right, okay. So, and what was I oh, because it's Passover. Okay, so and so Kristen just informed me that this podcast will come out right before

Passover Weight Training And Patience

SPEAKER_02

Passover. Yeah, I'm so excited because Passover is really a it's a crossing over. You know, we just finished Purim and it was very impactful, I think, for the whole world. I mean, the whole world is really waking up. Oh, Perm, what is Perm? What's Perm about? You know, all everything going on with Iran and Israel, you know, and the US. Um, but like that time crossing over um Passover, you know, we know that Moses and the Israelites, they crossed over, yeah. So some people will say, oh, well, they crossed, they went through the Red Sea, but actually the scripture says, um, I'm not saying that they didn't go through it, they did, but um the Hebraic way that they explained it is that they crossed over, like they crossed over into their promised land. So so anybody out there who's you know still waiting for you know their breakthrough, you know, so just um yeah, the the weight training, yeah, to be patient for sure. And I haven't always been so patient. I mean, just this week I had you know something that I had to get clarity on, and then you know, it was yeah, it was clarified and I was better after that. But I was thinking, oh, just a promise, you know, that God had. Was that not gonna happen? But when I got clarity uh or clarification, it's like yes, yes, it is gonna happen. So um, so you were saying this weight training. I think Patrick probably has a lot more practice at that than I do because he's really good at um every morning, you know, spending that time with God no matter what. And then he goes and does whatever it is for maybe like four or five hours. And and so for me, I'm like, oh, and I opt um I'm also an options trader. So, you know, at 8 30 a.m. central time, the the market is open, so I kind of need to be up there and you know, not I don't stick to it all day, but I do need to just kind of be watching the market and stuff. And so for me, it's um the weight training, like it comes in little segments. So so, but I think it's very, very important for sure to be spending that time with God. And that's one thing um that um not that I didn't know it already, but it's becoming more of a reality. Because I think before when I was single, it was like you're just I'm not saying I'm not busy now because we uh we are busy, but it's like the priority has shifted that um maybe I didn't have to focus. I was working when when we got married. Yeah, I was teaching English and then um and then I was laid off from from my job. And after, you know, looking and looking, God said that options trading was was my job. So, and I hadn't made the joke with Kristen, I won't share that about how much I made last year. So I'm still in training for sure.

SPEAKER_01

And it's like it's part of this, you know. I I've maybe you can speak to this a little bit more too, like, you know, just different things in our life that we're waiting on and for that he's shown us that there's like this promise. I often think of um I I I talk about my buddy Noah quite a bit because I love I love the ones who are willing to persevere, who are tenacious and keep going no matter what it looks like. And I often will think of like Noah, and just imagine this. I had this vision one day. Him and his wife just sitting down, like 20 years in of him building this ark, right? And she's just like and this is just my funny language, dude. What are you thinking? It's been 20 years, there's no rain, like there's no grid for this. What are you doing, honey? Like, and then 40 years comes along, and she's like, um, this is really getting to be problematic, honey. You're building this thing, we're not we're not getting any income. You you told you told me, you know, God gave you this thing, and he's and I just like to say and think that he would just respond and he wouldn't have much to say except three words. But God said, Yeah, period. That's it, and then breakfast would be done.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah. Wow. So there's so many things I could say about that. One thing I do want to go back to the Passovers, so I need to finish this story and then I'll go to the Noah. So um, so two Passovers ago,

Meeting A Spouse At 59

SPEAKER_02

I was um at um, I went to Kurt Landry Ministries, their Passover event, and I met my spiritual mom and dad there, and I just felt it just like um um burning in my spirit. It's like I need a husband. That's really what I said. And I was like, oh, you know, I just asked them, can you, you know, just pray for this? And it's very interesting because how we met is, you know, unconventional for I guess what people would say, Christians. So um, so I had I had a um a profile on Christian Mingle. And and Patrick would never do this, but God told him to get on there. And yeah, and so then when I met him, I just wasn't serious. I was, you know, just kind of like, uh, he's all right, you know. It's like he has a really good ministry profile, and which that's really good, but I was like, uh, I don't know. And then God just really spoke to me. He said, This is a man of God. I'm just the fear of the Lord was on me. And really, it was really boom, boom, boom. We really weren't even friends. It was just like this whirlwind thing, and we got married in December. So that was um probably the end of April or the middle of April when we got connected, and then in December we got married. So wow, like eight months you had between. Yeah, it was it was pretty well, it was pretty quick. We did get engaged at two months. I know people were like, nah, you know, so we did um put it under wraps just because of his profile and just because, you know, just backlash and stuff. But but some lady when when I was doing I was in Kansas City, I was a missionary there, and one lady told me, she said, uh her and her husband, they got married after four months. They both looked at me and said, Don't do that. Oh really? Yeah, yeah. And so I'm like, okay, well, I'll just make it eight months. So that's what we did. Double it. Yeah. And when we got engaged, it was six months from the time we got engaged, so that gave us enough time. But yeah, people were, you know, there were naysayers and stuff. And and really, you know, if God hadn't had spoken, you know, then it would have been very easy to say, oh, I don't know. I don't think this is, you know, if we had more time, I could have very easily talked myself out of, you know, God's will, you know. And yeah. And so then, yeah, so then the Noah, that's very interesting because he's been working on this dome. Um, he started maybe about a year before before he he met me, or that same year, maybe. And so it's still, you know, not completed. And people and it's a small town and um about 600 people. It's a touristy town. So in the summer, you know, there's a lot of tourists coming to do float trips, kayaking, and um horse trail riding. It's really it's really popular place. Yeah, it is, it's amazing. Um, so people were calling him Noah. Maybe really. Yeah, yeah. What is he doing? What is that thing? Yeah, is that a church? You know, and yeah, it's like not really, it's not a church because we won't have church on Sunday, but we may have a service Thursday night or something, you know, maybe. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So is he building this himself?

SPEAKER_02

Pretty much, yeah. He's his son is um is helping some, and then if there's things that he can't do, then maybe he'll try to get someone to come in. Like right now, we need the steps built. So, and and um there has been a vision, someone told me that they won't be just regular steps, they're gonna be kind of like a rounded, like it's kind of it's gonna be pretty amazing, and the floor is going to be this epoxy stuff with it, it's a little expensive, but it's gonna literally look like the sea of glass, the floor.

SPEAKER_01

Really? Yeah, so so amazing. I love I love big like visionaries so much.

SPEAKER_02

He's a visionary, that's for sure.

SPEAKER_01

It's amazing so how have you felt like Noah's wife ever? You know, my my description of so you're are you relating a little bit?

SPEAKER_02

Oh yeah, so and I would think it's a little um yeah, I mean he has started his his business back up, which that's good. So he didn't really need he he had a heating and ear business for um, yeah, he's done it for like 42 years. So um he didn't really do it too much when they moved down here because then he was building, he built this house. It's like a cabin, really, that we live in now. Yeah, he built this and and then his wife got sick, so he took care of her, and then the years, you know, it was COVID. She died in 2019, and then you know, COVID happened, and then he was, you know, a single dad, you know, that you know, an older guy, you know, 50, late 50s, and a single dad, so that he had like that thing, and then he kind of just did like ministry. Um so he really didn't need to have uh maybe like a more yeah regimented income. Yeah, but he didn't realize, you know, that probably uh I guess there was some things with just some things. He had two he has two adopted children. Yeah, he doesn't have any children. I don't have any children, so but he um his second wife um had two children so he considers them, you know, they're his. Yes, children. And then they adopted two two sons. So um, so there's like, you know, different things, you know, like adoption suds subsidies and things um, you know, that the government g gives, you know, for like that process. So he was like living on, you know, some of that. And he didn't really need a whole lot because they didn't he didn't have any debt. You know, the house was paid off and you know, he built the house. And they just build things like as they get money. So so so yeah, that that whole challenge, I think, is um um, you know, because most people are like, oh well, we we want that, we're just gonna go get it. And and he's like, No, we're we're gonna wait until we have the money, which is you know, the best thing to do, because staying out of debt, especially really at our age, you know, we don't want to go into debt, really. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So he has this big vision with this dome. And what is your big vision?

SPEAKER_02

Mm-hmm. Yeah, so my big vision, yeah. So I really um yeah, I really want to um, I mean, I am his his helpmate, you know, for sure. Um, and that's been a little of a struggle for me too, because I've I've kind of felt like just in the past couple weeks, what's my purpose? What am I doing? You know, so um, yeah, so I uh we we do have a vision for like um building two cabins, and that's kind of the next thing um that will be like rentals for income. We're kind of getting things set up so that um you know he doesn't

Rural Missouri Tornadoes And Shelter Domes

SPEAKER_02

need to be working like this as hard as he is now, uh, you know, in five years. And so yeah, that's very interesting because my vision is um yeah, to help disciple people for sure. Yeah, so since you know, I'm a woman obviously, um we do have a vision for like bringing like a young couple in, and then uh Patrick has this idea to build these small geodesic domes, and they can be used as tornado shelters. They're um they withstand tornadoes up to 200 miles an hour. And really, yeah, some people don't know that shape the shape of it, yeah. The rounded shape, the triangle, it's made, it's all made with triangles, so yeah, the shape of it. And a lot of people don't know that. And you know, we've had we had 17 tornadoes in this area last year. Seriously, yes, yes. And where are you again? Eminence, Missouri. It's about um, it's close to Arkansas. I would say Poplar Bluff is um is like um maybe 50,000 people could be. Yeah, it's so it is in in the country, about three hours from Springfield, three hours from St. Louis. Wow, and you said 17. Yeah, mm-hmm. I mean they all did touch down, but there are like three didn't touch down, and there was uh one house here um did get destroyed, and then um like a whole area in in the next town Nover got destroyed. Yeah, yeah. There were maybe three um three deaths. So and and the thing is is here, um, so it is it's Shannon County, so it's the poorest, the poorest county in Missouri. So, and there's this one area where um where literally people live like in tents or you know, little campers and things. So, so for you know, a tornado to come through that could um you know be be very serious, you know. So it was a blessing that did, you know, pass over that area. But um, and and the they say that there are even fugitives who live in this area. Really? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It is it is a wild west, I'll tell you. And I'm not really, I mean, I am a I think I am a country person at heart, but I've never really lived in the country before. Oh yeah. I've been in the suburbs, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Well, I'm just I would love to hear more for the listeners. You know, I've I've known um, I actually know a couple gals who one of them was waiting into her 40s, like she was just waiting for a long time to get married, um, and and recently did within you know the last couple of years or last two in her 40s. Um and even had a baby, which is incredible within a year of getting married. Wow. And then another, you know, gal that I know is is waiting um on a spouse. And what would you say was the most challenging part of it? And then you know, I'm thinking like you got married when you were 59. Wow, yeah. How challenging how challenging was it to go because I'm married and I love I love my alone time. So was it challenging to go from you know, kind of doing life with you know, married to the Lord, right? Married to Jerry to Jesus, and then to go from that to being married to somebody, like what was the most challenging part of the wait? And what was the most challenging part of being married? Like that I don't know, I feel like it might be kind of a shock to your system in a way, maybe not.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, definitely. The whole thing, culture, and shock and everything. So yeah, the waiting part definitely is that not to settle, yeah, and um also um I would say not to put your standards so high that no one's ever gonna fulfill it. I mean, you know, be realistic, you know, men have flaws, you know. Women have flaws, we all have flaws, and um and so definitely, but but do not settle. Like if you if you you know you want a man that has um a love for God, you know, um and you want someone who's gonna bring you up higher for sure. Definitely. And and so so that's for sure because you know, we're we're in ministry all the time. So, you know, I I take the back burner. So so and you know, God is first, you know. Sometimes you're like, is this ministry or is this God, you know? So um, but but he does really um take the time out like once a month, you know, for us to get away for a day or you know, yeah. And for a whole day, you know, we do um love hiking. I think I probably like it, you know, more than he does, but yeah, we do try to get out for a couple hours here and there. And there's so many, um, there's 30 natural springs in this area. So we can drive. There's one just five minutes down the road. It's like amazing. It's like I live here, it's really cool, yeah. So, and then so for after marriage, yeah. I mean, we know it's gonna be hard, right? So, yeah, we know. So, um, yeah, and I think the hardest thing for me was, and this is just being you know, real, is that um, so he's been marrying, you know, two other times. So this is my first. And, you know, I was really expecting this honeymoon period, not just a honeymoon, which was amazing. We went to we went on a cruise to Mexico and it was it was amazing, yeah. It was. And but I I expected a honeymoon period.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Do you know what I mean? Yeah, and there wasn't that. It was just like go into the grind. And I was working a lot then, so so just you know, um, just melding together, and then you know, I had a stepson, he was 19, and he's great, he's a great kid, or he's an adult now. And um um then they had a dog, or we have a dog, you know, and I'm allergic to it, and you know, I we live in a cabin that you know bugs come in the cracks, you know. It's like, oh my gosh. So, so you know, I'm a suburb girl, you know. Are you? You know, you or or or I would say I grew up that way, but you know, I do love the country, but I don't want bugs coming in my house. I would say it was it was a big adjustment, it sounds like it was a very big, yeah. And then and then another thing, and this is you know, me, I think I'm probably more particular. I'm not super, I wouldn't say I'm anal, you know, that word, I don't really like that word, but um, I do like things clean. And you know, when you're oh all of a sudden you're living with two guys and you know, you know, and a dog, you know, you know, and then we have another autistic son that we keep overnight. It is it's Patrick's son, but he, you know, yeah, he stays with his daughter. Um, so we get him, you know, for uh one day a week. It's like okay, so it's just just that feeling for me of um, you know, I really had to push through that. And it's really has been just very recently, um, where you know, that's been a breakthrough, I would think say for me,

Marriage Standards And Real Adjustments

SPEAKER_02

for my heart, that I was feeling like like a maid and a cook. Sure. And you know, of course, you know, that's what women do, right? But it's like, you know, can't you just pick this up? You know? And they don't even see it, you know, they're just so different. Men are just so different. Yeah, and my dad, uh my dad was in the service, so you know, he's neat, tidy, yeah. Yeah, I guess it's that's been that was a big challenge. But yeah, after you know, a year, you're like, oh, it's okay if that's a little dirty, we'll just overlook that. Yeah, life is much better.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah or something. So I know you mentioned, you know, the verse, um, Hope to Ferd makes the heart sick. So did you have like moments like that along your journey? Oh well just in general, like I feel like I want to tie in not only to that, but just your your stepping into doing inner healing and how that came to be.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, yes, that's a that's a really great, just a great point. Um, so yeah, I would say before I got saved, um, I did struggle with depression. I had depression, I would say, I would say pretty bad. I mean, I still worked and stuff, but before I got saved, and then you know, there's that the the honeymoon thing, you know, of after you're getting sa after you're saved and stuff. So like I could feel like about 10 years ago, maybe that like the depression like was trying really trying to creep in. And and so that I think that that really has been um a battle. And so, and I do I do think that that is part of you know the hope deferred. And but I think you just really need to do like what you're passionate about. And for me, it was like missions. I was always um just trying to go somewhere, trying to get somewhere. I felt, you know, I felt I felt called to several several nations, and um, it just never worked out. Maybe I I did go um six and a half months was the longest I've been anywhere. So I did more, I did a lot of short term, but my dream was to live somewhere, you know, and I was, you know, trying, really trying to get there, and it just seemed like it was never happening. So that was another hope deferred, I would say. So and my husband's not called to the nations, maybe, maybe Africa. I'm not really interested. I mean, he'll he'll go maybe short term. I'm not quite sure if I'll go. I have been to Africa, I've been to Mozambique and Uganda and South Sudan, and yeah, it was an amazing time of my life, but I don't feel called there now. So, me, I was I was actually, well, I I wanted to move to Taiwan and I have uh another spiritual mom and dad who was living there, and and so you know, I really was trying to do that, and I just didn't have I think it was yeah, the inner healing that I needed. Like if I would have gotten the inner healing maybe like 10 years prior, then I felt that it would have been much easier. Or like for now, you know, if I would have done it now, it would have been a lot easier to get there. But yeah, so the inner healing that's been my inner healing journey started on December 19th of um 2000 and I think maybe it was about 2007, I I believe, but I re specifically remember it was December 19th because I was driving to New York to pick up my mom. Um I had just had a session uh with my pastor um and and the the secretary there. So that's when my inner healing journey started, and I think we're all on it, we're all on an inner healing journey. And um, I think um some people maybe can say, Oh, I'm completely healed, you know, but I think that really when we get to heaven is when we'll be completely healed. Yes, yeah, and the Lord sees us right for sure. Yeah, yeah. And then so when I was um I served on staff at a house of prayer, and my boss were the missionaries in who are now missionaries. Well, they're actually coming back to the US now, which is very sad, but um, they were um missionaries to Taiwan for 13 years, and and so he was my boss. I was the admin for the housekeeping department, and so you got trained in housekeeping, yeah, yeah, spiritual and physical housekeeping. Yeah, that was kind of the joke because yeah, because um Jerry, he he was my boss, he was um he was one of um the leaders in this ministry. It was um a healing community, and and so he just started training me because I was there in in the in the housekeeping office and people were coming in to be healed. So I just started being a scribe. And then he said, Well, why you know I'll just start training you in some of these, um, you know, what what um what we're doing and learning. So that's when yeah, that that part started. And and one thing is when I was always, you know, just afraid, oh, I can't do this, you know, I don't know what I'm doing. And then one of our inner healing or I'm sorry, one of our um housekeepers came in, a young girl, and she was distraught about something that had happened to her. And Jerry said, Oh, well, let's, you know, just have a seat, let's let's take you through this and see what God wants to do. And she said, Oh, that's fine, Jerry, but I don't want you in here. So, so it was me. She looked at me and I was like, Oh, you know, dear you got initiated. Yeah, Darren headlights. Look, I'm like, in my head, I said, I can't do this. And God said, Yes, you can. He's like, He's like, well, well, he said, he said, you can't, you can, because I'm gonna do it. All you just need to be the conduit. And I'm like, oh, I can do this. So that's when that started. Yeah, that's when that's already in 2012.

SPEAKER_01

So for those who are listening that maybe don't they've maybe never heard the term inner healing before, um how would you explain inner healing to somebody and like what it is that you do when you come alongside somebody?

SPEAKER_02

Mm-hmm. Oh, that's a great question, Kristen. Yeah, thanks for asking that. So it's a process of where uh you just come along, somebody who, you know, has had, you know, maybe some kind of trauma. It could be A or B type type trauma. Like A is um like you know, a physical hurt, you know, it was evident you can see it, um, like a car wreck or whatever, and you know, they get hurt. And type B trauma is is a type of like inside trauma, like neglect, or it could be verbal abuse or something like that. And and so so um you want to just um be there for the person and just encourage them to

Inner Healing How It Works

SPEAKER_02

sit and to listen what God has to say. So, so and we uh the facilitator, um, it's our job uh to just ask questions that would encourage the person to turn to God. So, so and there are different times where maybe someone might need deliverance and uh things like that. I mean, obviously, in in that situation, we would you know take authority and you know, the demons must leave. And um, but other than that, you know, uh as they're being just led through this inner healing process, the demons leave on their own. Yeah, so so so it's really it's really amazing. And I just I know people who have had counseling and and so so I I've majored in in counseling. Um yeah, and so I see that um this is for me, and I'm not knocking counselors, you know, at all. But um, but that like one inner healing session can be equal to six months of counseling. Wow. Yeah, I've really say that again. Just say that again. Yeah, one inner healing session can be equal to six months of counseling.

SPEAKER_01

What do you what have you noticed like since you you said you had a master's in counseling?

SPEAKER_02

Um actually I I don't have a master's, so so I want I want you to um know that I'm not as certified counselor. So I'm a I have a senior status uh in counseling. Okay. And so I have a lot of schooling and a lot of certifications, including pharmacy technician. We were talking about the pharmacy. Yeah, yeah. And I was an x-ray technician and um all certified and um but so God uh told me after I came back from Africa that to to finish my degree, and and so I had transferred my credits, actually have two associates' degrees. So so I transferred my credits to um it is it's uh Mark Verglers, Verglers University in Christian Leadership. And and so after about a year is when I started trying or God, I felt that God was telling me to start my business. So I did try to go into real estate, so that was it was good, but I didn't, you know, I didn't get any sales or whatever, but I did get a lot of great training and you know was coached by some some awesome people, and I think it was also for um confidence, like a confidence builder too. So so I actually have not graduated in counseling, so I just want to be specific about it.

SPEAKER_01

Sure, yeah. Well, and I love that you had the experience to know the difference, right? So you've you've seen and you can speak to the fact that you know one inner healing session is basically equivalent to six months of counseling. If well potentially could even be more, right?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and how I know that is because you know, when I was going through the depression before I became a Christian, I I did counseling. Yeah. And and so for one, you know, obviously I wasn't a believer then, so that makes a huge difference, you know. If you don't know the Lord, I just don't know how people, you know. Yeah, I don't know how people get by, really, you know, because without God You don't really, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, I I got saved when I was 25 from addiction, right? So I I I got by, but I didn't get by. It's like it was right, right? It's a whole different world, right?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and just yeah, just one session, though I've had many, I would say. Um, but just that one session when um yeah, on that December 19th.

SPEAKER_01

Wow. Um, I would love for you to share since you get to walk alongside women in in this space. Obviously, you know, don't share names or what have you. I'm I'm imagining that you don't share names because like me, I'm very confidential who comes in my little birthing space. But um would you be open to sharing maybe just kind of a high level um testimonial of of somebody that you've you've been able to come alongside and just seen, you know, for somebody who's listening, I love testimonials. So for them to really understand and experience maybe what that looked like for them and the after effect of what that is now looking like for them as well.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, absolutely for sure. So so there have been a couple ladies, um one lady and um so so she still is in a situation, you know, that she's waiting for her her breakthrough. But but just at the beginning I would say and I don't want to credit all to myself because I'm sure there were other people who were also speaking into her life and and it is a combination for sure. And and but um there was um the victim you know the victim mindset and and um now to see her now um yeah she went through she went through the internship and just um just what God did just what God did in those sessions and now to see her I mean now she's she's written a book she started her own internship for for um women in like some hard marriages and she's she's written her devotional and she's done her own pod podcast and she's um I yeah it's I mean she's just grown so much and I just really really love it and and and now she's serving on an inner healing team at a house of prayer. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Wow yeah and if you think about it too I don't know if you've heard me say this before but like your yes has generational implications so your yes to step in and do something that you know at first you're kind of like I can't do this. God's like yes you can you're like okay then I'll do it yes yes God yes God and then now to see the fruit of that and to see you know another woman this REPL effect right where you said yes she said yes and now there's it's like now she's going and it's like discipleship right she's you got free you set her help to set her free now she's going to go set more people free. That's just amazing.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah and then and I was sharing I think before we started recording about um another person who um just you know she didn't want to turn on the camera and she just you know felt maybe insecure and just as unsure of herself and um and and there was you know some trauma that she hadn't went through and um she was facing um just persecution at her job and you know just you know just sounds it just sounded really you know like a bad situation and now I mean she's a manager. So I mean just what God did and she's um she's an intercessor and she really has the word of the Lord she's prophetic and God's just really moving her. She's doing intercession with you know different prayer groups and um yeah and like I said now she's she she truly is an Esther. I would say they both are because I did just do um um a breakthrough February that's something quickly I would just want to so um like February has just become like the breakthrough month for for me. And God just said you know every February I want you to do breakthrough February where you just bring ladies on and to say you know to talk about their breakthrough what they did you know could be they're still in it you know just um what God spoke to them their testimony and leading people in activations and in inner healing we had several like after we do the sessions like that we record then we do personal ministry and we've had several like group inner healing sessions after the the personal ministry and so or or after the session and yeah that's just been really great. So I think maybe I did get off topic.

SPEAKER_00

You're talking okay I'm on the journey with you.

SPEAKER_01

Okay that's really so so for somebody who would love to hear like more about what you do and how they can you know they're like wow I I want that kind of breakthrough I want that kind of freedom I want that kind of release like how can they get in touch with you?

SPEAKER_02

Oh that's really amazing so so I have a um a group on Facebook it's called breakthrough holy fire okay and my name is Rivka Kavany you can also connect with me through through messenger and um and so so I have an internship and once you're in you're a life member you know there's not you know you don't have to leave after a year we have had people who have been in for three years and they're like oh this is my small group this is my church you know like this is okay yeah so so and we have um an internship where um where I take you through inner healing and we uh we learn different different um different types of you know of what inner healing is and we also do communion together we meet twice a month um possibly a third time and um and and it's just really is a great great group of women so we minister to each other and it's a safe place like some what you had said you know people say that um a safe place so so this group is definitely safe and then we have a private youtube channel so if anyone like misses one of our groups they can see you know see see what happened yeah yeah and it's confidential like you said yeah yes yeah I I'm very big on that it's like just protecting hearts of course so um and have you written a book no I've not yet god did say well yeah a couple different times so that may be coming um not right now right now I'm working on the the inner healing manual so and um that's pretty much almost complete and then just one thing that I did just talk about uh before about the counseling

Stories Resources Prayer And Closing

SPEAKER_02

um degree yeah even though it's I feel it's basically I wouldn't say it's not relevant relevant um it does give someone credibility when they see oh yeah she has a counseling degree so so that's like the next step well and I like to say and maybe this will bless you and maybe some other listeners too you know when you were first called into this you said I can't do this and he said but yes you can right um I I always like to say because he's gonna call us into these things that are so outside of ourselves and how many in the Bible were called into these places and spaces um unschooled we'll just say they were unschooled quote unquote and I like to say the my favorite letters behind my name are G O D just G O D.

SPEAKER_01

I just have to remember that all the time because um you know it I love how you've had such like a diverse um like way of coming into who you are today like the things that you learned along the way the things that you were trained in along the way wouldn't you say have all kind of culminated into this time into what you're doing.

SPEAKER_02

Mm-hmm. Yeah I would definitely say that especially just um just how sometimes you don't know you're like God what are you doing? Why am I here? Right yeah and then it just it just happens so I will boom yeah I will say one thing when I um started my group so so I was part of this um um entrepreneurship group and I it was great I really think it you know helped help me like grow my confidence and um meeting you know like minded people and so the the leader you know there they say uh um anyone can do this you know anyone can do this if you have a phone and and you have um whatever a Facebook account or whatever and and you can do this and they say what's in your hand and I'm like what's in my hand hmm I was like well I've done inner healing you know then it was for whatever 10 years or eight years or something and and and um and and so you know I thought well I'll just do that. You know I'll just start a group yeah and then so I thought you know I was into real estate and I thought yeah I will you know it sound very odd you know because I will have this group and I will do inner healing and then if someone blesses me with like a lead for a piece of real estate that I buy I will you know I will give them you know this you know like a kickback or whatever. And and then so I started my group and I started preparing for my first event and three weeks before the event God said oh this is your who the the people who I was going to be served.

SPEAKER_01

So it wasn't about real estate at all you know it was about inner healing and so so yeah it's like it's like the I'm almost seeing like a house you're you're thinking like an actual structural house but you're being called to help build the body and the the inner workings of the yeah of the human right yeah and then I marry someone who his his ministry is called solid house ministry it's like thank you Lord for bringing it all together he's so good. Well what I love to do thank you so much for sharing everything um at the end of each um podcast episode is if you could just think of that one who's listening in right now is there anything else that you'd love to share over this person and then you know any wisdom encouragement and then would you pray us out today?

SPEAKER_02

Mm-hmm yes absolutely and this went I did make notes so that's like you know probably a first for me. So so so yeah for I did speak when I was in missions a couple times and I did have notes but I didn't really use them either. So yeah so just um that breakthrough that we're looking for um it's so much more than just one thing there's so many different parts to it and just like what you said about the weight W A I T training yeah that's really good and um that the long term like what we're doing now like we're cultivating in our hearts like getting inner healing or maybe um looking at our finances maybe where we weren't or maybe like doing something with their health or trying to restore a relationship. God just says what you're doing now is going to be your future in 10 years. Wow so that's why God spoke that to me and then I heard someone else say say it. I don't remember who it was but it was just confirmation. Yeah so start doing today yeah what your dream is in 10 years.

SPEAKER_01

That's beautiful. Such a great like reminder for everybody that that's long vision.

SPEAKER_03

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you. Well would you pray us out today?

SPEAKER_02

Mm-hmm. Yeah so thank you God we just thank you for this amazing time this is so amazing I just really um just talked my head off so so but we thank you God yeah we thank you God for Kristen and for her ministry what you're doing we thank you for coaching I just highly recommend it I've had um some coaching just from different people maybe you know bartering service and I'll tell you yeah like one coaching session can can almost be like you know for for our business can be like what one inner healing session can be like for our heart. So so I just thank you thank you for Kristen and um for how she gives and this ministry that you have and I thank you God for um whoever is listening here and and is saying wow God um I have some things that I want to talk to you about.

SPEAKER_01

God would you just speak to them about their future about that 10 year journey about those things you want them to start making that one degree turn or that inner scheduling that inner healing session or scheduling that coaching session God yeah restoring that relationship God would you do it God today so we just thank you God we give you all the glory and and happy Passover I'm so excited to hear that um that my podcast will be airing right before Passover yeah that's very significant for me so yeah so we just thank you God in Yeshua's name thank you so much wow this has been really powerful um so if you could just um remind us again you have the name the name of your Facebook group is Breakthrough Holy Fire. Okay and then if somebody wanted to contact you directly um through messenger correct and I'll be sure to link this up in the show notes so if you didn't catch that as you're listening feel free to like jump into the show notes I'll have everything there for you guys. And then I'm gonna close with um the Hope Unlocked anchoring verse which is may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. And that's Romans 1513. So thank you Rivka for being a brave voice who's setting so many free I will be back with another episode next week. Thanks listeners have a good one.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah bye bye shalom
