Hey, welcome to the Hope Unlocked podcast. I'm Kristen Kurtz, your host. I pray this episode is like a holy IV of hope for your soul. Doing something a little different today. I haven't done a solo episode for quite some time. And I'm coming to you in the raw today. So if you're on YouTube, you're gonna see like it's a Friday. I'm doing a lot of back-end work in my business and the podcast. And I had this really amazing idea this morning. I was actually in an infrared sauna and just was thinking about, you know, the world, the state of the world, and just how I don't know about you guys, but when you go on social media, it's it's loud. There's volumes of volume. There's volume, there's there's a lot of noise. And my heart when I go onto social media, and I know there's many of you out there, is to encourage, exhort, to help people move forward, to help them. Just as I love to say, like if I ever renamed my coaching business, it would be keep going coaching. So my coaching business is New Wings Coaching, but is to really go on social media and to help people keep going. There's so many reasons to give up, right? There's so many reasons to throw in the towel. And I feel like we need more voices to drop bomb, not bombs. There's so much fighting between people. I mean, you've probably seen it before, and maybe you're like me. You see a post and you head to the comments just to see, like, it's almost like a litmus test, I guess, to see what the state of the world is. People are fighting. I mean, they're throwing people, tearing people apart. And it was so interesting. I had this thought. It was like, it was almost, you know, if you imagine, you know, when you're tearing people apart like that, it it can destroy them. And especially if they're already going through something, we really don't know what people are going through on the back end. Yes, there's a lot of things going on in this world that, you know, exposure is a real thing that's happening right now. But how can we contribute to the world in a way with our voices that really lifts people up, that brings brings solutions to problems, I guess you could say. So so as part of my coaching, I am the Lord calls me a voice activator. A part of my story is that there was a chokehold on my voice for a long time. And I won't get into that story today because maybe I'll get into that more another day. But for me to start a podcast, I mean, we're coming up on this episode is going to be 247. We're coming up on 250 episodes. This was so not on my radar when the Lord called me to do this like four years ago. I I argued kind of like Moses did. But in doing uncomfortable things, it really does bring breakthrough not only to ourself, but I can't even imagine all of the people I would have missed meeting had I not done this. And, you know, as I do this podcast for the one, I do believe that there's an impact being made. I am real and raw. I am not one who's coming super polished. I keep it unedited, unscripted. And yet,
like this is all glory to God that I recently heard that this podcast, or as I like to call it a seed cast, is 0.2%, like top 0.2% in the world, which is just wild to me. And it's reached almost 130 countries. So that's it's just wild. And so that's where like I love helping unlock women's voices specifically. I've I've been a catalyst to help unlock men's voices too, but I specifically work with women. And so I wanted to invite you all into something in September. I actually have a Facebook group called Hope Unlocked, and in that group, so this is gonna be for women, I'm inviting you into a mission. You know, a lot of people call it a challenge, like a, you know, a 30-day challenge, but I feel like I already have enough challenges. I don't want to do something that's called a challenge because I have enough challenges. So if you're with me, I'm calling it a mission. So the September mission is going to be all about unlocking your voice, gonna give you prompts to bring goodness, like unlock goodness in this world with your voice, because I don't know if you've ever been a recipient of somebody giving you a word, but it it actually can help you move forward. It can help you like then do this ripple effect thing where it's like, okay, I got this fire, now I'm passing the torch on to somebody else. So I just had this vision of collectively, whoever is part of this, even if there's 10 people, the 10 people impact, let's just say the app impact 10, those 10 are like, oh my gosh, I just got filled up because somebody dropped a bomb of bomb on me rather than a bomb of just not good stuff. And then they go out and impact somebody else because that's really the ripple effect. That's what this podcast is. I really want to see people unlocked, I want to see them, their hope unlocked, I want to see their voices unlocked, I want to see callings unlocked, I want to see just so much unlocking happening. One of my other titles is a locksmith. So I've been given keys to help unlock women, and it's such a beautiful space to be in, and what a privilege, right? So I'm inviting you into this. Starts in September, September 1st. I will link in the in the show notes the link to get there. But if you want to go to Facebook, you should be able to find it. It it's like Facebook.com slash groups, and then hope unlocked is the I don't know if you call it a subsidiary. I don't know. It's the last part, but when you pull it up, it should link you right there. It shouldn't be hard to find. I'll actually give you the actual fullness of the name of the group. It's Hope Unlocked, identity, voice, and calling for Christian women leaders. So you should be able to find it. It will prompt you to request to join because it isn't just an open group for everybody. But I feel like this is going to be just a really amazing ripple effect month where we can spread hope, we can spread joy, we can spread peace, and not be out there like contributing to all of the voices that are just there's there's so much division. And I know the enemy just loves it, even in the body of Christ. Like there's just so much division happening and so much back and forth. And I'm hoping at the sound of my voice today that this is something that you might be interested in. Again, I just see kind of this fire where it's like, okay, you have a torch, you're gonna pass it on, and you're gonna have like 30 days not only to do that to help others, but I believe it's gonna help your voice because we might do a few uncomfortable things because I love helping people get uncomfortable in ways that maybe we wouldn't do on our own as a coach. I just love coming alongside women to see them take that step. And and really, I think what really prompted me, especially this week, was in working with clients. That was the main thing was coming up was the voice. It was really the voice and helping to unlock them to step out and do the thing that has been on their heart. They just needed somebody to help, as I like to say, kick them out of the nest so that they can soar. So, anyways, I hope to see you there. And um, if you have questions, feel free to email me.
