Welcome to the Hope Unlocked podcast. I'm Kristen Kurtz, your host. I pray this episode is like a holy IV of hope for your soul. We're doing something a little different here today. Normally I would say, please welcome my guest to the show, but I'm kind of the guest in a way on my own show because we're having like a host takeover, and I'm having my dear friend Sherry Conran sit here with me. It's almost like we're we're sitting in the same room, but we're not. We're on Zoom, obviously. And I'll just kind of back it up a little bit. Uh, I was so blessed to meet her. God totally ordained our paths about a year ago. And honestly, like I was like, Lord, could could I go to like an adoption agency? I need like a spiritual mama. And I couldn't figure out like why so many people around me had these spiritual mamas and papas. And I was like, I can't find it. Like, where's this adoption agency that everybody's like going to? Like, could somebody tell me? And it was just like God totally ordained our past. So she's become a very sweet friend and a spiritual mama and a prayer warrior and that and more. So as much as I don't technically want to do this today, I am doing it today because I've learned in my own journey that when we go through something, even sometimes when we're in the middle of it, it can really bless others. And if you guys know me well or don't know me, my heart is really to do this podcast for the one. So if if this is for the one, then so be it. So
I do want to have Sherry just maybe share a little bit about herself before we get into what's happening because eventually she's actually going to come on the show and she's gonna share her stuff sometime down the road. So if you wouldn't mind just sharing a little bit about yourself and your journey right now, too.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely, Kristen. Thank you for the kind words that you've said so far. I am Sherry Conrian. I am a formerly licensed marriage and family therapist. I worked in that field for 25 years, which seems wild to me. God recently called me out of that field into becoming an abundant life coach. And after 25 years in that journey, it was really scary. And as my friend and my spiritual daughter, you've just provided abundant support around that transition. And I am having the time of my life not being a therapist anymore. God is, he's a he's an amazing God, and he is he's able to do like more than you could expect or imagine, which is some of what you and I are going to be talking about a little bit today. And I will never ever forget our meeting. We met at a business meeting for business women, and normally there's like 10 or 12 people that show up for that. And that day there was a total of four of us. And I'll just never forget. I hope this doesn't embarrass you, but you had on like a short sleeve t-shirt, and I your tattoos. I was like, I don't know who you are, but your tattoos are ministering to me. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Well, do you want to tell them what the tattoos are? Do you remember?
SPEAKER_02Oh, I do, I do. I would like to say I will never forget. So one of your tattoos is a birdcage and it's open. I don't remember if it has a does it have a bird outside the cage?
SPEAKER_00There's a dove with for those of you guys who are on YouTube, you can see it here. There's a dove with flowers on it coming out of the cage.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So that just spoke to me because I just got out of my cage of being a licensed therapist, I think, when we met. And so that really spoke to me. And then your other one is of a vase with gold. I never can pronounce the word. Kitsugi.
SPEAKER_00Kinsuki. So if you're on YouTube, this is the other one here.
SPEAKER_02Yep. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00With a dahlia, my favorite flower.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So the gold is to it's like to go in and seal, and it's like just a heavenly thing for me.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02When I first met you, and I was just like, okay, your tattoos are ministering to me. And I just felt like this draw towards you, like Holy Spirit inspired, is what I would say. You know, just felt like there was a divine connection. And I I don't know. It's it's kind of interesting being a spiritual mother. I love being a spiritual mother to you. And I have 10 other spiritual children that I'm a spiritual mom to me, or I'm a spiritual mom too. And it's just been an interesting journey collecting because the kids come in different ways. I know you're like a full-grown adult, but your kids to me, you know. I'm having the time of my life being a spiritual mom to you guys, and you and I just getting to know each other and hanging out. And it's very interesting. The people that the Lord has brought to me as spiritual children. We have a lot in common. You and I just went out to dinner this weekend, and I was just watching some things like how you drive and how you know your thoughts and beliefs. And I'm like, oh my gosh, we could be twins, you know. So it's been a lot of fun, Kristen, getting to be the privilege. It's a privilege to me to get to be your spiritual mom, to get to walk beside you, to encourage you, to pray over you, to lift you up, um, to go to battle, man, to go to battle in the heavenly realms on your behalf. I call that just a holy privilege, you know, holy privilege. And I'm sad for what you're walking through right now. We're gonna talk a little bit more about that, but I have high hope. Really high hope, because God we have the one thing we have in common is we've both experienced some trauma. I was a trauma therapist for 25 years. No, therapist for 25 years, really focused on trauma for eight years, but I have my own trauma history and we kind of have that in common. And so I I know we've, you know, we've we've God's brought us through much, and He's gonna bring you through this as well.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yes, absolutely, for sure.
SPEAKER_02That's a little bit about me. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Thank you for sharing. We're gonna have her, like I said, we're gonna have a come back on for more down the road because I'm sure you guys want to hear more about her story because she's a delight and has so much to offer and to give back to this world and is on quite a wild journey herself. I love to say, like, people say, Oh, like, how are things going in your life? I'm like, Well, it's a wild adventure, and I think even just since we met, like my world has been like a mixture of just like miracles, but also just really, really hard things. And I'm not gonna share all of the hard things, but I think you've probably you've had moments of like interesting, right?
SPEAKER_02Well, interesting, yes. But as we're talking right now, Kristen, I'm like, look at the divine timing of our meeting. The divine timing and the things I've been able to walk with you through beside you, pray you through, watch you transition through, watch God like open doors that
you never thought he would open and bless you. And yeah, it's been hurdle after hurdle, which is hard, right? But the blessing is coming. The next blessing is I know without a doubt coming.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, absolutely. So what I am led to share here today that I actually didn't think I'd find myself sharing because I thought this was something that was done and closed. Kind of like, you know, I'll come kind of come to the end of the story and I'll work my way back. I found myself in a plastic surgeon's office two weeks ago. And I told the surgeon, I said I never would have seen myself here. Now, there's a reason that I was there, and I think I'm gonna need help just kind of encapsulating this and keeping it for sure. So about two and a half years ago, to keep it short and sweet, I went into the dermatologist, and there was a spot on my nose that was really funky, and the dermatologist said we need to biopsy. And immediately in my spirit, like I just heard all clear. So I was like, Oh, we're good. Like, great, go for it, you know. And about a week later, I got a phone call, and it wasn't those words, it was actually pretty shocking because I thought we were good, there was no problems, it was just gonna be another, you know, another time where it's like a pre-cancerous thing happening. I probably shouldn't use that C word because then they flag these episodes. So I'm gonna be really good about this now. So I was like, I literally went into some shock in a way because I thought, well, what do you mean? Like, this is not what I was like right, right experiencing.
SPEAKER_02So I'd be surprised.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, absolutely. And but yet I was reminded of something that I had heard about that I could do that would be something that I could do on my own, that would be a avoiding surgery kind of method. So I did that last January and thought it was just all clear. And fast forward to this last, well, three months ago, I went in to get like a full body check and was handed a little bit of shame by one of the people that work there.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00That I didn't go do the thing that they wanted me to do like two and a half years ago. But I just said, no, it's it's fine. I I took care of it myself. Like I'm healed, like it's it's fine. And so then when I had, I was just sitting there and I was actually pretty excited to share what I did and how you know God healed me, and uh my dermatologists proceeded to use like a kind of like a little handheld microscopy looking thing on my nose and said, Kristen, it's not gone. Wow. So shock again.
SPEAKER_02Very, very surprising, right?
SPEAKER_00And I feel like I'm talking too much now.
SPEAKER_02So nope, you're not you're not talking too much. I'm letting I want you to tell your story of what you experienced. And if you feel like I can jump in right here right now.
SPEAKER_00Yeah,
so I love interviewing people, you guys. I've been interviewing people for a long time. I I love interviewing people. I don't love interviewing myself.
SPEAKER_02No, totally, totally understandable. So, so Kristen, you showed me what got removed from your natural approach. And I can a thousand percent understand why you felt like it was taken care of. What came out of your nose looked very cancerous to me. It was black, it was gross, it was, you know, cancerous. And as we use a different maybe we should find a different word. Well, I'm sorry, we'll say C word. C word.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, C word.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Thanks for the reminder. Uh, because when you said it earlier, I was like, okay, note to south, and you know, note to south flies south, flies south easily for me.
SPEAKER_00They're just they're into these words, and then they flag them, and then it yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I totally get that, totally get that. So I can see where you felt like you had resolved that, and as a person of faith, you leaned into your faith, and as a person who loves natural approaches, I'm that person as well that loves natural approaches. I have issues with kind of our current healthcare system and therapy and things like that. So I totally I absolutely admire that, right? And yeah, as a person of faith, and you saw what you saw and did what you did, and you felt like it was taken care of. And so I can totally see where you would be in a state of shock, and maybe even a little bit like, Lord, what's up with this? You know, I stood, I stood in faith and I thought it was taken care of, and now here we are. Um, I think you said two years later, two and a half years. Two and a half years later, here we are, kind of back full circle, and it wasn't taken care of. And I think you've had some maybe a few questions around faith, and definitely a few questions like what is going on? How is this still present? Do you want to talk about that at all?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, I at first I was just like, you know, I've had so many people praying over this that I'd be healed and it was gone, and all the things, right? And even myself, I was just like super excited to testify, and I have testified about this many times. Right, right. So yeah, there's like kind of a state of shock to the fact that that word all clear was I was being confronted again with something that was opposite, right? Right, right. Standing in faith for something that you know, maybe on paper looked a little crazy to some people, but to me, I was like, this is the route that I felt like I was to take, you know, last year when I did it. So there was definitely a lot of tears, even in the office there, driving home, like even that that whole week, I was just for sure. Yeah, I mean when you're in a state like that, you know, there's this battle happening for the trust, and then you know, there's the the other side of that, the faith, the trust, the hope, the joy, all the things on one side, and then you get kind of compounded with the arrows of shame and like doubt and you know, all the things because the timing of this also came at a time that it was just like one more thing that was like this doesn't make sense.
SPEAKER_02Right, right, right. You've had a good handful of blessings, you've been going through something that's been challenging, and then to get this arrow on top of the other challenge and a little bit. You didn't say this, but these are my words. It's like, look, Lord, like we need to talk, right, with with with the challenges. And Kristen, you have stood, I'm so proud of you because you have stood so steadfast in your faith. You are such a strong woman of faith, right? And and you've continued to be encouraging to others, you've continued to just stand steadfast in faith as you're waiting for the Lord to come and do what only the Lord can do. And when he doesn't do it, especially in the amount of time we think he will or we think he should, that standing in faith gets hard. Yeah, it gets hard, right? No matter how strong faith. And when we get these reports, when our faith is so strong that we're like, nope, it's finished, it's done, it's taken care of. And we get these reports from a secular person from the world, you know, and we do want to stand in faith and we do want to be a witness and we want to be a testimony, right? And you were, and you still are, and you still are. You and I had a conversation about doing this podcast about being a little hesitant because you felt like you stood so much in faith, and now here you are, having to face this, having to face the surgery, and then having to face having some plastic surgery after that. Um, maybe feeling like I don't know if you're feeling like you're disappointing people or not being as strong in your faith, but I'm here to tell you that you are being very strong in your faith, and this is a different kind of testimony. Because as a as a person who's been a therapist for 25 years, I can triple promise you that you're not alone in this place of having a diagnosis, standing in faith, thinking, thinking that you were healed from it, praying, believing, receiving, doing the natural thing that you did, seeing what you saw, and then thinking it's done, right? And then to get this news that it's not done. You're not, you're just not alone in that, I promise you. And it's not being deceptive in your faith. It's not, it's not any of those things that the enemy might be trying to tell you that it is.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And that's you know, that's the thing that I think not only myself, but like if somebody's listening today, like it's a real thing to walk through. And you know, I haven't shared about this on social media. I have not shared about this like publicly. I have some very close people in my inner circle who know about this journey. And I know that there's wisdom to not share all the things with all the people.
SPEAKER_02100%, 100%.
SPEAKER_00Um yet there's also wisdom to share even in the middle of the journey. The Lord was showing me last year when we walked through like our house miracle, which I haven't fully divulged either. It's I feel like I'm in the middle of a lot of middles and on the other side of things I haven't fully shared yet. I don't know, it's just been more of a quiet year in some ways. I've just been out there still encouraging, but yet in a more contemplative time, I guess you could say. I I don't know. And I used to call it the messy middle. So I could call this the messy middle because it I thought it was over. I thought it was over, right? Which then it's it it became what could be seen as the messy middle, but just like with the house, I'm I'm taking that testimony, and it's hard to see it sometimes, but it's like the middle of a miracle. Rather than the messy, because it is messy.
SPEAKER_02You may have shared that with me before, I don't remember, but that's what was going through my head.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's that's the that's what he was showing me with that house like last year. It was like even walking that out got really messy at times. But he's like, Nope, this is the middle of a miracle, and I think a lot of times when we're in the middle of something, it can look really messy, just like this kitsuki on my arm. Like, there's a reason I have that on my arm. It's like broken to beautiful, and they actually like if you guys don't know what kinsuki is, it is when they take like broken pottery or broken dishes and mend it with gold. And through the brokenness, being mended with gold actually makes that broken thing more valuable before it was even broken.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00That's so I have a broken nose, and that's wild. Maybe I should tell the surgeon to like put some gold in there. I have like a gold nose.
SPEAKER_01Can you make it hat? Can I get a Kinsugi nose? That would be that'd be kind of fun.
SPEAKER_02I think I think that that'd be a good way to share your testimony because people would be like, what are you doing?
SPEAKER_01What were you thinking there, girl?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So it's definitely not this is not a like I said, sitting in a plastic surgeon's office was not the place I ever thought I'd be sitting. But at this point, in the spot that it's located, I I've said to people, like, I I wish this was on my butt. Because they can like pull skin together, but on the spot that it's on my nose, like there's no way to like pull skin together. They have to like do something where I'm left with a choice of I was given three choices just do nothing, have this particular surgery where they go in and like keep scraping until it is all clear, which is what the scheduler told me. She said, We're gonna go layer by layer till it's all clear. Now, if you remember, that's the word that I heard before I had the biopsy two and a half years ago. So at that point, kind of looping around, like I feel like I had a piece on doing this, even though it's not like what I want to do. So that was like have that surgery and just kind of leave a hole, or have that and have plastic surgery the very next day, which at this point they said there could be three different levels of severity, but they won't know until that day based on what happens the day before. So there's a lot of uncertainty in this technically from a
SPEAKER_02medical standpoint and in that i'm i'm still grappling at times with of course you are and yeah
why god like you know like the question the real questions that absolutely the human mind goes to you know for sure and kristen i want you to try to give yourself permission to let your mind go there right i tell as a therapist former therapist i tell people get in the shallow end of the water with those feelings and feel them and ask the questions and even if you you know even if you have a little anger towards god I think that's perfectly okay he's able to handle it right and it's it's it's a our relationship with God from my perspective is is like every other relationship we got to talk things through we got to talk things out we got to reason we got to work together to understand to help us understand you know I just believe in my heart of hearts he's okay with that yeah for sure and and I think you learn over time that he's okay with it and I think for me personally sometimes when these things happen I almost have to kind of like go by myself and then I'm kind of mad at God like it's just being real like I don't want to talk to you you know like a a a kid and the parents like just leave me alone I'm gonna shut my door and I'm gonna take care of this myself and yeah we are drawback we are his kids no matter how old we are so we can certainly be like meh like you anymore you know right and I I mean I especially that first week I was like and to some of you who are listening you know I'm I don't want to discount what you're going through and this may seem like you know not a huge deal and if you're walking through something like it's it's he understands like he knows he's with you and that's right no matter the severity or the non-severity right we can't we really can't compare we just really can't because Kristen if I had two broken legs and you had one we'd both be having trouble walking yeah right and it and it doesn't help me and it doesn't help you to compare your circumstances to my circumstances. As people we tend to do that we tend to be like oh they've got this situation going on and man I should not be upset about my situation. My situation is near as bad as their situation and that's that's kind of self-shaming and self-shaming or any form of shaming is not helpful. It's not helpful right um I think it was Theodora Roosevelt that said to compare is to despair that's true yeah it's very true it's very true so my wish for anyone listening is this message of hope. Yeah we're bringing we're we're you're being real and talking about the steps that you took for for natural healing and that didn't work and now we've got to go you got to go and depend on a doctor and I think God created these brilliant minds that are doctors and surgeons and plastic surgeons.
SPEAKER_00He created them for our benefit without a doubt and and we do have to lean into that and we can bring our faith into that situation too right it it would we have preferred the natural paths healing and for it to be done a thousand percent and would we have maybe even preferred that testimony a thousand percent right but this is another opportunity for another testimony yeah right and you you don't know I think didn't you even tell me that you ministered to someone you met someone yes well and the interesting thing was my the surgeon that will be working with me at the dermatologist had mentioned that there were three places that they would recommend for plastic surgery and and this is something that I this is kind of a sideline to what I'm gonna share here but they said three there's three okay now because I've learned to advocate for myself and I'm kind of like you know just tell me I said I I need you to actually give me one like narrow it down.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00So if you've been given 10 options you don't have to go like search them out yourself ask them I mean there's no harm in asking I said I want you to give me the best out of this three well what's fascinating when I felt like it was just another confirmation to go this road that I don't want to go down honestly you guys the place is called renew and if you guys know I mean my business is new wings coaching my Instagram page is renew.wings like renewings it's kind of a play on words and the gal that did the scheduling with me was just kind of floored. She's like it sounds like you're supposed to be here and was able to have like two different hour long conversations with her and I don't know what you know maybe there's another person that I'll meet because I tend to be one who will talk to anybody so I don't know I don't I don't really know what will happen and but yet I feel like this is where I'm supposed to go and what's really interesting is yeah that whole renew you know it's like that word it's I love the word and I even saw like a truck with renew on it like within
the week after you know just kind of getting more at peace with this even though I'm not at peace with it because it's a whole paradox yep I think Kristen there's a part of you that's at peace with it and a part that isn't right. Yeah right that's okay yeah I mean nobody really wants we know what's really interesting for those of you who've been listening to this podcast for a long time I've been doing this for three and a half years and up until mid-May it was all audio and then I was led to do video mid-May of this year and then two weeks later I'm being told this is and my nose and I'm I'm just gonna be real I'm gonna put it out there but even as a kid when I was young like my nose was the thing that I was like oh if I even then I was like oh could I just get a nose job which is interesting that I'd find myself in a plastic surgeon as an adult but it was the very thing that I just you know how we're all comparing ourselves especially as women it's like oh if we can only you know well what I ended up doing is watching Michael Jackson like wow and a half ago and I thought oh my gosh like he had so many plastic surgeries because he just he just wasn't content with the way God created his face you know so we won't go into that all the way but do you know what I'm saying? I do I do there's actually a diagnosis with that it's you know in the psychological world it's called body dysmorphia yeah where people can get addicted to plastic surgery yeah so it was it was just interesting it's it's just been an interesting journey so yeah for sure for sure I can I can imagine that it has and you know when we get a diagnosis it's not it's not usually something we expect or imagine right when my grandson who is now 17 was three years old I believe he was three or four he got a that C-word diagnosis right definitely not something you expect with a child even more so right but yeah yeah we go we we get these we are sometimes facing these battles right that if someone came into the room and said okay who's ready for a sea battle I don't know of anybody that would be like oh yeah yeah yeah I want that one I want that one no no we don't want that one that's that's actually a a very scary word I think in our society because of all the things we've witnessed with that we've witnessed tragedy with that losses with that battles with that right so it's a it's a very triggering word without a doubt yeah for sure yeah most definitely yeah yep so you've got to just keep telling yourself that all the feelings that that pop up they might kind of come up and come down kind of like a whack a mole right and I have this one come up over here and you knock that one down and this thus thought or fear might come up right and that's just all okay just let it let it let the let them be present get into the shallow end of the pool and feel the feelings name the feelings and then get out of the pool you don't want to get over to the deep end where we kind of sink in with the feelings and let them be present all the time all the time because that that can bring about some depression and anxiety so but it's so important one of my passions as a coach is to normalize people feeling all the emotions and naming the emotions and and marrying and you're doing it so beautifully one of my goals as a as a life coach is to help people marry their faith with their emotions because we gotta have both we were created with both right God gave us God gave us anger sadness loneliness fears and Jesus modeled Jesus modeled for us all throughout the Bible and the new testament how to manage those emotions good stuff he even had some anger you know he flipped over some tables I know and it's it's like could it could it be normalized right yeah can
I go flip some tables I was just gonna say if you need to flip some tables resurcate and resurcate so that's that's kind of the behind the scenes journey of kind of where where this where this is at right now I have like I said I've been doing this podcast for like three and a half years and thankfully you know I have quite a bank of episodes to come down the pipeline so I I'll probably take a couple slash few weeks off coming up here the in the middle middle of November through some point kind of having to put off take my coaching hat off potentially depending on what this looks like and not not permanently but just taking a you know like if I worked a normal job I'd I'd get some sick time and yeah insurance right to help take care of this but in the current way that we are sitting right now it's just a little bit more challenging than yeah maybe what it would have looked like years ago.
SPEAKER_02So definitely a little bit more complex but like God's hand is not short. Right? God's hand can reach into whatever our circumstances are and bring that provision without a doubt. Right and you we had to talk you into it Rebecca and myself I think had to talk you into this but we did create a gifts and go account for Kristen just want to let all of you know that and it can be found on my page my Facebook page at sh I'm at Sherry Conran seal and R E N I think it's on your Facebook page my friend Amy yep tagged me. Yep yep with her friends yep and on Rebecca's page and I'm I I know that people are sharing it and so we want to cover your expenses as well and so so yeah if you guys need that link you can reach out to the comments on this or you can friend me on Facebook at Sherry Conry and S-H-E-R-R-I and I will share you can find the link there but it's it's an opportunity again not one that we would raise our hand for but you're giving Kristen you're giving people an opportunity to bless you and I know that I know man it's easier to be a blessing than to receive a blessing right when people when I need someone's help and I have to ask for it I'm like oh I don't want to but I'm so thankful when I do ask for it and then I receive it I'm so thankful that there's people that want to give me that support. And so you've got a lot of people a lot of people that love you not just me as your spiritual mama you've got lots of people that love you and care about you. You've got a wide circle of influence um and so if you're listening and you want to give and help take the this financial burden off of Kristen and her family that would be really appreciated. So yeah I just want to put a little plug in for that so that you can get that other worry taken care of and so that when you do take a week or two weeks off or whatever you need off from coaching and podcasting your expenses are going to be covered. Yeah right you you stepped out in faith as did I you you you stepped in you stepped out of a little more faith in me when you left corporate world because you had all the things that came with the corporate world I was then I was in private practice so my pay definitely decreased you know as has yours but God I I just know I know that I know I know that God has as maybe maybe you felt let down in some ways along the way but he's a he's a trustworthy God.
SPEAKER_00Yeah yeah it's all gonna be good just like today I saw a license plate that had 828 like Romans 828 he'll work all things together for good yep so I'm just leaning on that and really leaning into this all clear word so if if any of
you just want to you know pray and just you know I'll definitely need some arm lifters come 100 mid November.
SPEAKER_02So yeah 100% and just in the past couple of days when you and I were hanging out you've seen I think three 320 license plate at least yes and that's my verse Ephesians 320 God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above yes yes more than we could expect or imagine. It's a promise it is a promise and he's not a man that he would lie yeah well this has been different.
SPEAKER_00I hope you guys have been encouraged and you know as I've come on here a lot of times these these episodes are really interviewing other people um I have been led to do some more of my own solo episodes so those will probably be coming down the pipeline and and as you know I walk this out you know maybe I'll share a little bit more and you know snippets kind of the things that God's showing me through this journey. But again yeah just be praying and as Sherry mentioned in the show notes if you feel led to support this journey we'll have the link there and yeah thank you Sherry for sitting on the chair next to me doing this different interviewslash podcast taker where it's been fun quote unquote it's been a it's been a lot of fun Kristen thanks thanks for giving me the opportunity it's a joy to be your spiritual mama it's a joy this is a different way to walk beside you through life and it's fun but I it's it's the joy of a lifetime Kristen to get to love on you and to get to spoil you you guys I feel like God sent me to Kristen to spoil her because she hasn't had a lot of spoiling in her life so I'm doing the best I can to treat her and spoil her and just love on her like God does.
SPEAKER_02Yeah well you're blessed. Thanks thanks for having me.
SPEAKER_00I hope you guys like just in anticipation we'll have Sherry back on to share her story down the road at some point. But in the meantime thank you for being a brave voice who's setting many free because I share that with every guest and and maybe you know I'll just have to remind myself of that you know at times too because you know this isn't something I necessarily wanted to verbalize on my podcast but I do feel it was God leading this to happen for such a time as this. So I am gonna wrap up with the Hope Unlocked anchoring verse it's may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing so by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. And that's Romans 1513. So thank you again Sherry and I'll be back with another episode next week bye sweetie bye everybody
