Speaker 1:Welcome Deb Yorg to the show. I am so excited to have her back on today. She is just a sweet longtime friend and just powerful prayer warrior, fellow coach. I'll have her tell more about herself, but this is her second time back on, so it's always fun to have people back on the show and if you want to go back and listen to her, she's episode 15. So if you guys have been listening for a while, you know that that was a while ago and that was actually back in June of 2023, which was about a month after this podcast was released. So, Deb, would you be just open to sharing a little bit more about yourself besides what I shared?
Speaker 2:Oh, absolutely. Thank you so much, my friend. I so appreciate you and excited to be on here and I can't believe it was 23. We've talked about that before and coaching and so, yes, so just unlocking. So I love that because I feel like you and I are kindred hearts where the Lord has put you know, the same, just the passion to help others get unlocked and yeah, so he's placed that within me as well and just being able to share with others. I'm just someone who loves to celebrate others as well as you.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and just you know I'm just helping them through their obstacles or past traumas, wounds. You know that was something the lord had said to me um years ago. You know you can't outrun your past and it's just you know he put that on my heart, that it's.
Speaker 2:You have to face it and deal with those things with the lord, yeah, you know, and so, um, yeah, so that's been my heart. It's it's been since about 2012 that I really, you know, dug into this and and he's placed this on my heart to share with others.
Speaker 1:Yes, I love what you said. You can't, you said you can't outrun your past, right? No, yes, I said that, but you can't, you can't, you can't outrun your past, that's. It's almost like if I could have a tape recorder I'd rewind a little bit, cause I couldn't say that for some reason you can't outrun your past. So had you, I mean, in your life, had you spent some time trying to outrun your past personally? Well, I, yeah. Or did you just recognize that in others as well?
Speaker 2:I recognize that in in in others, but it's, it's like I, I knew that the Lord was speaking to my heart. So in 2007, I believe it was where, you know, I, I, I was ready to just deal with some of the things that I felt like, wow, these things are, you know, and I really didn't know at the time, but I felt like they were blocking me, I couldn't move. And he's like, you know, we need to unwrap these things, we need to, you know. So I worked with a counselor and you know that that helped me back then to to face a few things that I felt, like you know, and there are times and I had done some work before, but it's like you know, the Lord will heal and then he'll bring you to another place and feel like, you know, I always say it's like an onion, where he kind of peels back a layer and it's like I thought we've worked on this.
Speaker 2:I know, right, and yeah, and it's like I thought we've worked on on this, I know right and yeah, and it's just like, and you know, we can't outrun these things, we can't, you know, take that big girl gulp is what I'd say and kind of push down the emotions because, um, they go. Some, you know they hurt you physically as well. They, you know they cause these physical reactions in our bodies and spiritually it hurts us and emotionally and it's I felt like the Lord was saying no, it's time, it's time to deal with these, with these hurts. And that was back then, you know.
Speaker 1:Yeah, 2007. Yeah.
Speaker 2:Yes.
Speaker 1:That's amazing, yes.
Speaker 2:So he was showing me then. So I went through my own heart healing and you know, a ministry was birthed back then of breaking chains and you know conferences and events and gatherings that he placed on my heart. But it was, it was in, I think it was when we were, when you and I were talking in 23. He did give me 12 kingdom keys, yes, yes, and so it's kingdom coaching and working with others who that you know, for the Lord to, just like you know, unlock our hearts. Song of songs, five, four and the passion, says my beloved reached into into me to unlock my heart. And and that's where it started to really take form, when I, you know, he, holy Spirit, had helped me to write a workbook from the program, the coaching program that he was placing upon my heart. And it's like he's reaching into our hearts to unlock. And it's like he's reaching into our hearts to unlock. It's twofold Unlock the heart from the pain, the traumas and the things that we need that we lock with bolts. And it's unlocking our hearts so that he can heal. Then unlocking our hearts to the potential, you know, of who we are, our destinies to step into, from a, a healed heart or, you know, heart, that is, um, healing. Yeah, so that's where the coaching program was really uh, stirred up in me and birth and now published in an Instagram workbook.
Speaker 2:Yes, when did it publish? So that was just a few months ago. So just a few months ago, in the beginning of the year. That was published and then the Lord dropped in my heart. I mean, it was so quickly where he just said, okay, holy Spirit said, let's create 100, I am statements, I know and so that was birthed really quickly, where now it's published as well. It's a companion journal to the workbook, although it's, you know, it's separate, as you know, it doesn't need to be a companion to it, but it's a devotion, it's a journal and a place where the declaration is I am, and then I have the declaration and then a place to journal and write and, of course, the scripture location too is there and so, um, you know, like I am a new creation in christ, my, my past does not define me.
Speaker 2:Yes, you know, and and I believe that, as we did, because it's a renewing of our mindset, you know, walking in kingdom, kingdom mindset, kingdom identity, kingdom confidence, is that authority yes that we have and the daughters to the king.
Speaker 2:You know, we, we walk, and this is what he showed me. You know, um, we're royalty in the kingdom of god. That's the name of the program is reign in royalty, yeah, and you know, we're crowned by him, but we don't walk in that victory because we feel defeated or we walk around the mountain over and over and over again, and that's where the Lord is saying, no, we need to address the heart and he needs to bring a healing to it. And, yeah, so I love to work with others to help them unpack the heart healing that God wants to do unpack the heart healing that God wants to do.
Speaker 1:Yeah Well, I just, I mean, I absolutely love your heart but, like you said, we, we definitely are kindred spirits in so many different ways. I would just love to hear a little bit about the process just to even bring this into the world. You know, I can't imagine. It sounds like the I am devotional slash journal came really quickly, but the, the workbook how how did that process go for you?
Speaker 2:That's interesting. Well, you know that that's over, that's over. You know several years, several years. So it started in seven, 2007, where I just began my own journey, like I had mentioned, and seeking counsel and help and in just the way that I was processing. I was a believer at the time but I was still walking in. You know, guilt or shame and you know, from mistakes and sin that I have, that I've made. And so you know, just looking at all of that and you know, and step in, you know, a marriage that ended. You know I have two sons from that relationship and just looking back and healing from all of that, you know there's, there's sin on my part as well. So having to look at that and go, okay, you know that needs to. You know I'm going through an eating disorder because of the way that I handled my, my, my pain back back in that in those days that was in the 90s. You know I had an eating disorder because I didn't deal with things the way that I didn't know the Lord. So I took control of what I could control, which is, you know, and so an eating disorder was formed 2007,. 2007 is really when I I began to what was.
Speaker 2:It was 2000, where I really began to. You know, I began to eat and I of sort through, unpack some of that and renew my mindset and understanding. Well, if I'm a believer, if I'm a daughter to the king, you know, working on my heart, I knew then I needed to do that, to do that, but that was a beautiful. When I knew that I needed my own counseling, that opened up so much for me. The Lord really began to address the issues of my heart and he began to define me. I didn't know, you know who I was. I was someone who was trying to fit the molds that everyone wanted me to fit into, and you know whether that was compromising or or, you know, trying to fit in, trying to be a people. I was, I was a people pleaser, you know. And and so you know to answer your question it was just like wow, it was a process of my own journey of healing.
Speaker 2:And and then, um, you know, when he gave me the kingdom keys in 2019, he really began to show me you're going to take what you've learned, and I began to, um, you know, just take, take my notes. And before I knew it, I had a workbook. You know with the Lord has. You know he whispered all of that into my heart. You know how to put that together and you know it took me a few years to get to the point to publish it, but you know it's the bride you know to look at, but you know it's the bride, it you know to look at the cover, that's the bride of christ ascending, and so we are the bride of christ. And so there's a community that I host as well, that you know that you're in as well too. Kingdom brides arise, and that's a private community that I have on facebook. Um, because we are arising as his bride. The bride is the church, yes, but the daughters to the king recognizing that we are his, uh, bride.
Speaker 2:Ephesians talks about, you know, for our hearts to be, for him to find us spotless, right, and Revelation talks about the bride of Christ, and he brings me back to the heart. He always brings me back to the heart Because out of the heart, the mount speaks right, or out of the abundance of the heart, you know, we, we, we speak, we behave, we think, and so it's the heart healing and, and it's the bride, the preparation of the bride is is her heart the healing of the heart is is what he laid upon me really deeply to address the heart issues. And so you know, in the workbook I share a little bit about my own. You know I give an example in each of the chapters so they you know they could identify in one way or another. And then I give them heart work, which is questions to dig into their own heart work and what that looks like, and then we coach and counsel through that. But it was really birthed from my own experiences.
Speaker 1:And I think that really is the best method, right? Yes, I mean, I would say, and truly being in tune with Holy Spirit. You said that he was giving you keys along the way. I was curious. So, when you started your journey in counseling, was that like a challenging thing for you to pursue? To start, did somebody mention to you like a referral, I know for some people that I've encountered along the way and I feel like we're just maybe in a time where more people are isolating and they're not seeking out help. I don't know if you agree to that. What do you think about that?
Speaker 2:Yes, well, I think that you know, I know, in my experience, like the things that I've endured, you know, just to be able to hear somebody else's heart and being able to relate in some way, I found that they were able to trust me and, you know, and just receive, whether I was just praying for them or I was an ear for them, and then I recognized I love this, this is who I feel like, this is.
Speaker 2:It comes, it flowed out of me that, you know, that passion just kind of flows out of me, and so I recognize how he wired me, how he has been equipping me, you know, to come alongside of others with the same comfort that the Lord right, that's scriptural with the same comfort that he has given to us, to come alongside of others and and I think that we endure these things, you know, whether it's, you know, rape or you know, that's an experience that I, you know, or some sort of trauma. When we're, when we're able to share these things with other people, it gives them their, I believe, their, their hearts. You know their guard goes down and their hearts are open because you can relate to them in some way. Yes, yes, and that, yeah. So I think it just began from all of that, you know, and it's kind of it's growing to a point where it's like I want to share more with other people and you know, and work with others to help, help, set them free. Help help, you know, be a vessel that the Lord can use.
Speaker 1:Yes, well, would you, would you say that you're noticing that more people are isolating rather than reaching out?
Speaker 2:Yes, yes, I agree with that, and I don't know, you know, I think, yes, yes, I agree with that, and I don't know, you know, I think that's been over a few years, most definitely.
Speaker 2:I've seen that where people are pulling back and but more than ever, you know, we, we need each other, we need people in our lives and those that are that can share from a healthy perspective and, you know, can celebrate you, and you know people want to feel seen and heard and valued, and so when we come from that place of being genuine, of wanting to celebrate them and love them and and cheer them on, you know it's, it's the fellowship that's missing and we just you know it just made me think of this every other month there's a Bible study that we do here in Tampa Bay if anybody hears this and is local and so it's on cultivating friendships. So it's on cultivating friendships and cults, but but our number one friendship is with the lord. Yes, and so it's when, you know, talking about that, we, you know they're hungry for fellowship and we can come together and talk about healthy relationships and friendships, but it's always brought back to it's the Lord who's our bestest friend, right? Yeah?
Speaker 1:Well, what would you say to somebody who you know maybe they've been isolating for a while and they're just kind of feeling that nudge that they need to get out and either, you know, join in some community or, you know, maybe they're not even local to you. If they are, please reach out to Deb, and even online I mean, deb's got her Facebook group you can always join as well. Um, but I do believe that we've talked about this before he's really calling us to get in person more, wouldn't you say. Do you say to somebody who's hasn't you know, they've kind of been more in hiding for a little while, what would you say to them to kind of get out there and start connecting again?
Speaker 2:Oh, I would say to her that she needs to to step out, because Jesus, that God has within her, because she's lived through experiences that he wants to to use, to use her for that there's power in her voice, that she is seen, and so I would encourage her to move through the resistance you talk about that a lot and that resistance of stepping out of the comfort zones and step into the fulfillment of what God has. And I would just encourage them to do so, because people need what they have within them, their gifts, the abilities, their talents that God has placed in them is needed. The message that God has packaged within them needs to go forth.
Speaker 2:We talk about your you know our roar, roar, yes, Right, and, and so it's encouraging them that that, yes, they are needed and they are seen and valued. It's time for them to step out.
Speaker 1:Can I add too like a lot of times I've shared this with people before, like what you maybe need is what he's calling you to release and set the table for for others? Yes, because you're not always going to get what you need from others, no, and you that very thing that you need. If you put it out there, you might find that there's more people that need what you need, and it becomes a community. Yes, wouldn't you say?
Speaker 2:yes, yes, yeah, yeah, it's like the one who's afraid to ask a question, um for it to be, you know, but, but, but, but, that question being asked, you know, stirs up. You know the others who were like I was thinking that too, and it's, it's, it's just like it's, it's moving, yes, it's moving past um, and I think that goes with just recognizing or wanting to recognize that um, um, they're again, their value in in the kingdom identity of who they are, um, you know, to recognize their um. I go back to the value, you know that, just of knowing who they are in christ and stepping out because, um, people need what they um have within them and, before you know it, what, yes, what their need is, they will see that there's a community out there that's hungry for the same thing. Yeah, absolutely, and and the lord has taught me this, you know, and I think you know, I know that you and I have talked about this before, but he's cultivating a brave heart.
Speaker 2:You know, stepping out of that comfort zone is. It's scary, you know, because it's not familiar. We like to stay in the familiar. Even though it's uncomfortable, it's still comfortable in the sense that it's what we know. But God is out there, he's calling us to step out of the boat, right, yes, and do it, even afraid, because they're not alone. God is literally surrounding them, within them.
Speaker 1:Yeah, you know, yeah, within them. Well, and I think it's amazing too. Yeah, I don't know. I've been thinking about this a lot lately and you know, if you look at the disciples and most of the people in the Bible, like they weren't perfectly put together and he like qualifies us C-A-L-L-ifies us as we go along, right, if you're just sitting on the bench like nothing's happening, yes, right, you got to get in the game and like take a swing and you're probably going to miss a lot. I mean, my boys played baseball and they didn't just naturally know how to play. Yeah, right, you have to practice. And there's a lot of things I don't know about you. Like, I was gonna ask, like what would you say for you? Is maybe one of the more uncomfortable things that he like has you to do, like maybe in this season or what you feel is coming?
Speaker 2:well it's. It's definitely stepping out on different platforms. You know, know and and and sharing, and you know speaking and talking, and so it's just the very thing that you know or or or. You know being in front of a group and you know presenting, you know a teaching or, and I know he's called. You know, there's a lot within my heart that I know he's placed there and I'm excited. But I have to get, and I know this is true for me. I have to get out of my own way, or get out of God's way, because I'm in, I'm in his way and I'm in my own way. I'm sabotaging when, self-sabotaging, when, when I'm not being obedient, or when I put it on the back burner and I've done that before and he brings it right back. You know it's time. He'll tell me, I feel it, I know it. When he'll say Okay, it is time for you to show up.
Speaker 2:Because, I can sit back for a little bit. You know longer than you know I should and and I know that, I know when it's time to step out, and even afraid, you know, and giving myself this is grace. Giving myself permission to not always get it, you know right, and it's that it's practicing like you said. You know right, and it's that it's practicing like you said you know, um, practicing, he's equipping us, he's teaching us, but but giving myself permission to maybe get it wrong or not, like I had it all together because I'm learning, giving myself permission to learn, that's the bottom line that's so good, giving myself permission to learn.
Speaker 2:And in the learning it won't always look, you know, polished Right, but you'll never get to that place unless you begin Right. You know, like you said, with the baseball it's the swinging and the missing, and so it's growing in the learning. I mean, that's a message I always want to tell my kids, because it's like give yourself permission to grow, to learn. Always be teachable, and that is something you know, lord. I always want to be teachable. May I never be comfortable Sidelines. You know we can always take a break and rest, but I recognize his voice when he says I need you now to show up. Yeah, we've got work to do.
Speaker 1:I love to be able to like sometimes be able to cheer you on, to be like, come on, dad go.
Speaker 2:I know and you do. That's so great because you are such an encourager and a you champion others on your, your voice is so important and the words that he speaks through.
Speaker 1:I just love that you've been able to encapsulate this, and not only a workbook, but you know, the I am statements, the journaling, what is coming up with those beautiful book babies?
Speaker 2:What's coming up how are you integrating them?
Speaker 2:Yeah, so on Monday, august 4th, I'm going to start 100 days of sharing a recording onto the Facebook community page Kingdom Brides Arise. That's a private community for ladies who would like to be a part of that, but I'm going to put that there. I'm going to put that onto YouTube, the recordings, and TikTok is my thought as well. So my heart is to do 100 days of the I am statements. Take, taking a statement a day, declaring it and praying into that, over them, and so that's what I'm going to do with the journal. And then, as far as the workbook goes, those that are just you, ready to go. You know what I need some heart healing. You know, um, and are ready to just step into a journey of, of processing those things and moving past. You know, um, there's grace and all of that, and forgiveness and all of that, and and um, there's, there's a journey, um, that I would love to take with others, you know, to team up and partner with them to help them walk through some things that God wants to heal.
Speaker 1:Yes. I would love to have you had. Um, I know it's a new release, have you? Have you had a chance to walk through this with anybody recently?
Speaker 2:Yes, so the workbook, yes, yes, so, and and I have been doing that um for a few years where I would send the PDF chapter to someone and we would work on it that way, um, but now that it's in a workbook format, um, yes, just being able to give them a workbook and, and you know, for them to get the workbook and just go through it and we take a chapter at a time and dive into that. And there's hard work and questions to answer and you know we talk about this thing. So, yes, you know, but you know we'd love to be able to, to help to come alongside of others. You know, if love to be able to um to to help to come alongside of others, you know, if this is something that they hear and they feel led, I'd be happy to chat.
Speaker 1:Yeah. Well, I just want to highlight too. Um, it started with you sending a PDF. Yes, you didn't have the book first. You didn't wait to release it until the book was ready.
Speaker 2:Yes, that is such a good point. Yeah, so that was 2019 is when he was dropping all of this, the chapters, into my heart and in 20, I think it was when, actually, when we had the lockdown. I think it was when, actually, when we have a lockdown where a lot of it was on Zoom. So he opened that up for me. Where I was work, I was sending the clients PDFs of every chapter. We would jump on a Zoom call and, yeah, so he was. I recognized that he was birthing it. Yes and yeah, and then the workbook was, you know, about a year or two in the works. So, yes, you work with what we have Right, and then God will grow it?
Speaker 1:Yeah, absolutely, and I think you know what he's highlighted to me quite a bit over the years is like what's in your hands?
Speaker 2:Yes, yes, right, yes. To me, quite a bit over the years, is like what's in your hands? Yes, yes, right, yes, kristen, because because we wait, we can wait, and well, I'm not ready enough where I don't know enough, where it's not perfect enough, right and I'm not enough.
Speaker 1:I don't have enough. All the opposite, I am's of what you're releasing, right, and those are the lies. Yes, I don't, the I don'ts.
Speaker 2:I don'ts. Those are the lies right, those are exactly the lies and they prevent us to move ahead and forward. And because we can always come up with some sort or the enemy will whisper that some sort of excuse not to. And you know we justify oh, it's not prepared enough for you know, yes and so we?
Speaker 1:what is the strongest? I mean, I feel like everybody encounters this. I mean, at least and maybe it's just me, but I'm, I feel like the enemy is trying to squawk at me every day Like shut up. Um, maybe it's just me, I don't know, but what? What for you has been? Maybe one of those I don't have that has tried the hardest to keep you stopped in your tracks?
Speaker 2:Oh, that I, that I I don't have, he'll, he'll, he'll play this game with me. That I don't have, he'll play this game with me. That I don't have enough to, you know, to share or to give to others. Or you know who am I, or you know, and I know it's the lie, and so that's where it's just like, no, I see you, I see you saying, I hear you and I rebuke you in Jesus name because that's not who I am. And again it's going back.
Speaker 2:And this is, I think that that's the renewing of our mindset, and that's a daily walk, or a moment by moment walk, actually, because you know we, of course, you know these things come at us, these darts.
Speaker 2:You know that he tries to, you know, to hurt us with and get us to think differently and act differently and be different, and it's just like wait a minute, I see you. No, that's not who I am. Even though I might feel weak in a place, I think it's important to go. No, no, greater is the Lord who lives within me than the enemy of this world. So you know he's, if he's in my heart, he is so close to me that I, you know, lord, I want to feel the very breath of you. I want to feel your heartbeat. It's, you know, so it's looking I often refer to. I read a book one time that was talking about the interior life and that really stuck out to me because it's like he is all within our hearts and recognizing that we are, we are our strength, our peace, our joy, a love that we, you know, have for people. It's just Lord, you know, being filled with his spirit so that we can then pour out, yes.
Speaker 1:From the overflow. Yes, yes, yeah, and I just love that you know over time and I want to, maybe you could speak to somebody who just really feels kind of stuck with some of those lies, like they literally feel, like they're. I don't know, I'm just seeing somebody, maybe in quicksand, like what would you say to them?
Speaker 2:Well, I would just say to them that that's you know, anything that that is ugly or negative or hurtful in any way. Like we said, you're not in. You know those thoughts that you're not enough or you know you're not seeing your way. Like we said, you're not in. You know those thoughts that you're not enough or you're not, you're not seeing you're. You know you're not good enough or smart enough.
Speaker 2:All lies, all lies, all lies, and and it's looking at that lie and going, no, you know, and really really making that declaration no, this is who I am in Christ, this is who I am in Christ, this is who I am.
Speaker 2:And and I would just say to them that it's um, to recognize the lie and be and being intentional. See, then, that goes with the heart work as well, being intentional. That is not who you are. And speaking to that person, to recognize that they are, you know, with the Lord, that they are, that they have a purpose and they have, they are filled with his spirit, they have kingdom, kingdom. The kingdom of God lives within us. The kingdom of God lives within them. So, taking care of our mindset, our temples, you know that it can fulfill. You know the purpose and the plans that he has, the will that your heart and this is a prayer you know to always pray. May my heart always align with your heart, Lord. And so if we pray that prayer, he'll point out where we're not aligned, If our thinking is not aligned to the word of God, who speaks about who we are in him. When we know him more, then we're going to know more about who we are. Say that again.
Speaker 2:When we know yes, when we know more of who he is, then we will know more about who we are. Then we will know more about who we are because we're created Genesis 1, 26, we're created in his likeness, right the image of God we were created with. So if we are created in his likeness, then it's recognizing the lie and going wait a minute, you know that's not the Lord.
Speaker 2:So, therefore, I rebuke that and I replace it with God's truth, because what does it say? God's truth sets us free and so, but I would, that's what I would, share with her. Don't, don't buy into the lie anymore. Recognize it, be intentional about going. You know, you know, lord, you transform my mindset, transform, shift my thinking. Align my heart with your heart and let him begin to stir that up and and and heal what, what needs to be healed, and yeah, that's so good.
Speaker 1:I love, I love the passion behind your voice in all of this to release. I was curious if you could give us a little sneak peek. Would you be open? I know you said you shared some examples in the chapters in your workbook, but would you maybe share, maybe a shortened um, an example that you shared of of part of your testimony, and then, um, maybe one of the questions that's in that chapter to accompany?
Speaker 2:And let me see here, let me see, I'm putting you on the spot.
Speaker 1:Yes, let me see. I love sneak peeks.
Speaker 2:Um, yes, yes, let's see here Chapter one. So let's see here, um, okay, so in chapter one I talk about the word crush because the Lord and I say here I was in a season of confusion and did not understand a few things that were happening around me. Those who I was the closest to were demonstrating some very peculiar behaviors, which they were. During that time the Lord began to speak. The word crush to me, the word appeared everywhere and I recognized that was how the Lord was speaking to. The word crush to me, the word appeared everywhere and I recognized that was how the Lord was speaking to me. He was catching my attention during a time. During that time, a friend, without knowing, had given me a song called new wine. So that's where that new wine song came to me back then.
Speaker 2:And so I I just talked about the crushing experience that I had, and the Lord I go on to say the Lord was encouraging me to let go of the old mindsets, behaviors, the attitudes, even relationships that no longer celebrated the woman of God I was becoming in this season. And so I go on to share a few things about codependency and the characteristics of an orphan heart. So an orphan heart, if we've been adopted into the kingdom of God. We write the word of God says we get to call him Abba, we are adopted into the kingdom, and so, but we often live with the characteristics of an orphan heart, you know, with whether that's and I go on to explain that here where they're striving perfectionism, maybe a sense of competition, seeking approval, people pleasing, compromising, sing, and so I'm, and so I just go into all of that and and the heart work would be, um, I talk about it into, I talk about here too, song of songs 215, where it talks about the little foxes that spoil the vineyard and and with god, he says in that chapter that we can, we can capture those foxes together.
Speaker 2:Well, and I go on to explain a little bit about that in the chapter and the heart work, the question is, what do you think catch the little foxes refers to in your heart? So what are the little foxes that spoil the vineyard, spoil your heart? What does that look like? And so you know that could be. You know several things based on to their experiences, the pain, traumas that they've endured. So we go over that together. About the little foxes, you know what is that pain and what does that look like Shame, guilt, condemnation, rejection is huge and so yeah, so good, deb.
Speaker 1:Yeah, you got to get on this I'm telling you. So that's the workbook. Would you be open to sharing day one of your journal devotional with us?
Speaker 2:yes, yes, yes, the day one practice for next week. Yes, okay. So journal, so day one is talking about, um, okay. It says here uh, I am a child of the Most High God, chosen and dearly loved, and that's 1 Peter 2.9. That's the verse that talks about that we're chosen, that we're a royal priesthood, right, and so, recognizing that I am is in caps I am a child of the most high God, chosen and dearly loved.
Speaker 2:So, recognizing that you are chosen, you've been set apart, you are loved beyond measure, you belong to God. He's called you out of darkness and brought you into his wonderful light, his wonderful light. So, really taking that verse and the heart activation is inviting him into the moments that he brings to your attention. So in the journaling it's like you know where, where, and I will encourage them to, you know, express journal to the Lord where you don't feel seen or chosen, you know, but the Word of God says that you are. He's called you out of darkness, you know you, you're in the kingdom of God, so, you know, inviting him into that. What does he want to show you? What does he want to reveal to you? Maybe to let go of?
Speaker 2:And so you know and I'm going to share some prompts with you know, with those who tune in, you know what does it mean to be chosen? What does that look like to you? Where in your life have you believed a lie about your worth or belonging?
Speaker 2:You know what? What does that look like? You know what does that look like? So in the, so that particular day again just says I am a child of the Most High God, chosen and dearly loved. It gives the scripture and a place to journal, and so I'm going to take it a little bit further when I do the 100 days and be able to point out a few things from a healing perspective. It's like bringing some kingdom nuggets, yeah.
Speaker 1:You're bringing more keys beyond what you would experience in the book, but definitely have the book in hand.
Speaker 2:Yes, yes, just to be able to then take it to the Lord journal what he brings, what he wants to reveal, you know, so that there's a healing that takes place.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and what we were talking about you know before we came on here. I was reminded, you know, years ago when I got saved, I did some. You know, I did a particular Bible study when I, you know, first started going to church when I was 25. And I've just been prompted, like I keep forgetting I should do this today but to go back and look at the book to see the growth that has happened. And I was just sharing with Deb, like this, this journal slash, you know, devotional all the declarations to be able to encapsulate and have it in one place. It's almost like a treasure that you can go back and look at.
Speaker 2:Yes, Right, yes, that's so good. And it's amazing when you do go back and you reread some of your entries and journals and where you were a year ago, five years ago and three years, it's just like wow, you can see what God has done and and that's the really cool thing- yeah, and I think he really I mean, I'm not always the best journaler I am using like an electric a lot of times.
Speaker 1:I'm using like an electronic app called journey, which is really great. I keep track of like the little moments each day to be able to look back on, and I think he really loves that we take notice of these things, that we are remembering, that we're being reminded of just those little moments and the ways that he talks to us, right, yes, yes, because he's always talking to us.
Speaker 2:Yes, we just did an event the other day, a gathering about hearing the voice of God, so tuning our ears into him and listening and and being still, and you know that's well. What I believe is cultivating intimacy with him. You know, going to the secret place with him and bringing our Bibles or journals, and then that you know that doesn't mean you know to be still. You know you can be about your day, but your heart is always postured. Yes, right In the sense of position to posture to his heart, and you can be in the midst of your day, but yet you're being still and recognizing. You know him and journal, you know lunch, and you know, or you know, however you, however, our friends here, seek the Lord. Those journal entries, however, too, like you just said, whether it's on the computer or journaling, I think is so empowering because it's our testimony. Yes, it is Really yeah and just, and it's our testimony.
Speaker 2:Yes, it is yeah and just, and it's our healing. It's the journey, and and what we learn is what we share with other people.
Speaker 1:It's not it's never.
Speaker 2:I learned this years ago and when I was going through my own healing. It's not about us, it's not about me, it's not. It's about what we learn and then helping the others along me.
Speaker 1:It's not. It's about what we learn. Yes, and then helping the others along.
Speaker 2:Right, because we're not called to keep it to ourself. No right, oh, it's what god has done, so why not give him the glory? And and that's if I can just share this too that's where it's like that, that whatever, because shame can be attached to, to that and that's the healing that God wants to bring, because you know what God is doing is amazing and the healing that's taken place. So there's no shame in any of what we've endured. Somebody had told me this years ago, and I've always. It was a key that helped really unlock me and it was said to me.
Speaker 2:A counselor said said to me that God trusts you with what you've walked through.
Speaker 2:And that was powerful because a lot of it was you know my own behaviors and and ugly, and you know my part in things too.
Speaker 2:You know it's not just one sided always, and so there's, you know there's stories, different stories, and it's just like god trust me with what I walked through, even though it was, you know, you know ugly, it's like, you know, I had to look at that and go, wow, you know, it took, it took shame away, it helped heal, um and in in the sense that wow you, you know, okay, I'm going to use this, and then I do.
Speaker 2:When I'm, you know, talking with others and being able to share with others when God wants me to and it comes up, it's like, okay, I'll share, lord, because it will help release perhaps somebody else, and you know you're coming alongside of them with an understanding of you know, I walked through. We can't share what we don't experience Right In one way or another. We can kind of come to you know and help others along, yeah, so yeah, God wants to remove the veil of you know, shame and all of that that would want to quench or squash who we are, the spirit of God who lives within us and cause us to shrink back.
Speaker 1:And I'm just saying, oh, no, we, we keep you know in in over the years, like we have been able to encourage each other and have, like I just really believe and as you're talking, you know to have people. I say it all the time you need people in your corner, like, find somebody that you resonate with. You know, like you're hearing Deb's voice today, reach out to her. Hearing Deb's voice today, reach out to her. Um, she has such a pure heart and loves to listen, loves to share the things that the Lord has brought her through and the ways that he's brought her to break through, to share with you so that you can get breakthrough as well.
Speaker 1:Um, it's pretty cool Cause, as I'm listening here, there's like a hawk like right out, so that's pretty significant. Anyways, deb, would you be open? I think I don't know if you remember the last time we were on, but you know I really do this for the one, and if you, I know you spoke a word over somebody earlier, but is there anything else that you'd want to speak over? Most likely a woman that's listening in today, and then would you pray us out today?
Speaker 2:Yes, yes, yeah. So I'm praying that. I said this to somebody yesterday and I feel led to share it today it's time to come to the front, even in the back. Come to the front, even in the back. So whoever feels like they're in the back of the line and and you know God sees you and he's calling you forth, I don't know, I just feel like that's a word that you know. When I shared it yesterday, that person felt it and I feel like I felt it today as we're talking, that it's time to come forth. God sees you, god hears you and he knows your heart and he's with you and literally, he has your hand. Whoever this could be for, he has your hand and he's leading you to sit at the table with him.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you to sit at the table with him. Yeah, you know, one of the things that also to I just spoke about this today, this morning is somebody had shared a dream, if I can share this, somebody had shared a dream with me that they had that, that she saw that this is going back a few years and she saw that I was sitting at a little kids table. You know, at weddings, like at holidays and holidays, yes, exactly. And she said you need to come to the adult table. You need to. You need to sit at God's table, is what she said. And so I felt that here now, whoever feels, you know like they're in the back, you know you need to come forth and you need to sit at God's table. You need to sit with him and he. There are treasures of his heart that he wants to share with you, and so, so, yeah, so I pray, father, in Jesus name, my Lord, that, as this word goes out, lord, that you're moving upon the hearts of your daughters, lord, god, that you're touching them in such a way that you're awakening them, that you're blowing your Ruach breath, the breath of God is igniting, lord, the spark within their bellies. Lord, god, to stir them up, lord, to know that they are seen and heard and valued and so loved by you unconditionally, lord, that they can come from shrinking back and come forward, in Jesus' name, to sit at the table with you, to see and to experience you so much deeper, lord, god, because you're wanting to take your daughters deeper, you're wanting to take them into a deeper knowing of who you are, so you can share who they are with them, lord, so that you can heal hearts and set your people free.
Speaker 2:So, father, I just thank you so much for this time. Lord, I thank you for those that tune in Women. The same thing for them as well. God sees, god knows, god hears. And so, father, I thank you. I thank you for Kristen's heart, lord, god, I thank you that she's a warrior for you, lord, and she's setting Lord the captives free, lord, stepping out of the cages and stepping into all that you have for them, unlocking hearts as well. So, father, thank you for this time. I ask you to bless my sister beyond measure and bless those that are tuning in, lord Again. Stir their hearts, lord, and get them ready for their next assignment that you have for them, with passion and purpose and Holy Spirit power. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
Speaker 1:Amen. Well, Deb, what is the best way for people to get in contact with you? And I'll be sure to add that to the show notes as well.
Speaker 2:Okay, well, I'm on Facebook, so I'm there and and then from there, they're welcome to send me a note, or would love to invite them into the Kingdom Brides Arise community, which is the reign in royalty. It's reign in royalty, but I can send you a link if you'd like.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we can put it in the show notes for sure, okay, and then when you search up on Facebook, do you want to just spell out your name so people can search you up right now?
Speaker 2:Yes, it's Deborah D E B O R A H, then my last name is Y O E R G. Perfect.
Speaker 1:Yes, love it. Do you have any other methods that you wanted to share as well?
Speaker 2:Well, I have a YouTube page and that's under my name as well. Okay, and very, very. You're starting TikTok.
Speaker 1:Yes.
Speaker 2:That's a whole different, the whole thing. Yeah, I'm kind of like I said before grace in the learning, you're stepping out, I'm stepping out, I love it.
Speaker 1:So that's said before grace in the learning, you're stepping out, I'm stepping out, I love it.
Speaker 2:So that's, that's under my name too.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 2:DebYorg Y-O-E-R-G.
Speaker 1:Perfect. Well, I am so excited for you. Definitely connect with Deb if you are wanting to walk through you know the workbook with her in a coaching relationship and then also be sure to tune in to her lives. So I will be back with another episode next week.
Speaker 2:Thanks, Deb, Thank you so much, my friend. Bye-bye.
