Trai gives us his thoughts on the Steelers recent signings of Nate Herbig, and Isaac Seumalo. He also tells us he’s not ready to give up on Kevin Dotson just yet. We wrap up our chat with Trai Essex talking about his days as a member of the Steelers from 2005-2011. Trai gives us a couple of really interesting stories about his time with the team.
We finish the pod talking about some recent Steelers news. Omar Khan and Mike Tomlin made a surprise trip though Iowa. They were at both the Iowa, and Iowa St. pro days. Both teams have first round caliber edge rushers in Lukas Van Ness and Will McDonald. Is this team going edge in round one?
Finally we couldn’t go too long without some Ben Roethlisberger news. He recently said in an interview the 49ers contacted him about playing in 2022.
