Eastertide theme: Doubters welcome!
Many identify strongly with the experience of Thomas and others who do not at first believe, and long to know that their doubt is not a cause for shame or exclusion from the community. The texts for the Easter season are an invitation for “doubters” to experience the presence of Jesus in the meals of the season and in the love of the community.
