Show Notes

Episode 45 of Ellected is a conversation with one my favourite union activists, Tiffany Balducci. Tiffany is an extremely dedicated union member and leader in Ontario and the backstory of how she became so involved, a leader, at such a young age is both anger inducing but also inspiring.

More about Tiffany Balducci:
Originally from the United States, Tiffany Balducci has been involved in union activism at some capacity since she was a steward at a public library system in Flint, Michigan at fourteen years old.

Tiffany is the 2nd Vice President of CUPE Ontario and President of Durham Northumberland CUPE Council.  Tiffany loves advocating for strong public services, feminist grassroots and community organizing, fair working conditions and wages, human rights and social and climate justice. She is an organizer with Green Jobs Oshawa and cohost of The CUPE Cast podcast on the labour movement.

Tiffany is a new mom, enjoying parental leave alongside these volunteer roles.
