In 2019, 41-year-old Gurpreet Singh presented himself to the outside world as someone who had it all figured out and had the money to show for it. What he didn't want others to know was that he was struggling financially, and he and his family were barely getting by. He even enlisted the help of his father-in-law, Hakiakat Pannag, who lived with him and his wife, Shalinderjit, along with other family members, to help him pay it off, which caused a strain in the relationship. So, when Gurpreet walks into his home on the night of April 28 to find 4 members of his family, including his wife, murdered, he soon becomes the primary suspect.
