Cafecito & Crime
Estela and I (Barbara) are sister in laws who share a major love for true crime and coffee, as many other people! We thought to ourselves “Why not just record our crime talks while drinking coffee?!” so here we are. We hope you enjoy this lighthearted podcast and bear with us while we iron out some details. Thank you and gracias! Barbara and Estela.

In 1980, 18-year-old Katherine Foster was in her freshman year of college at the University of South Alabama. She was thriving academically and personally and was excited about the future. But one afternoon in late February, Katherine failed to meet friends for lunch and later that day missed a class, which was out of character for her. Family and friends knew something was wrong, and she was reported missing. Unfortunately, Katherine's body was found almost 2 days later, after she disappeared.
As the investigation began, all possible suspects were eventually ruled out due to concrete alibis. In time, Katherine's case went cold, and it would be over 2 decades before Katherine's killer was caught. Join us for today's episode to learn what happened to Katherine. So, grab your cafecito, and let's get started.
