A bumper episode this week where Steve and Marc are joined by Australian standup Thomas Green. They discuss Thomas's fish-out-of water experience when first moving to the UK, how his ancestral connection to Glasgow makes him feel at home here and led to an eerily serendipitous stumble across his mum's former home in Dumbarton, before delving into Thomas's incredible story about voluntarily joining a cult-like Christian sect in his hometown of Adelaide. There's chat of holy rollers, speaking in tongues and exorcising porn demons - so Marc spends a bit extra time after Steve has to leave to delve into more of Thomas's stand-up origins, approach to developing in comedy and how leaving the church changed his life trajectory.
