Make It You
Make It You is the podcast for ambitious professionals and entrepreneurs who are ready to align who they are with who they’re becoming.
Hosted by Tannya Bernadette — Founder & CEO of The Closet Edit, a Seattle-based luxury personal styling agency serving clients nationwide — this show explores the intersection of personal style, leadership, identity, and visibility.
With over 17 years in business and features in Real Simple, KOMO 4, Seattle Magazine, Bustle, and Buy Side WSJ, Tannya brings real-world experience to conversations about confidence, reinvention, and building a life that feels as powerful as it looks.
Through Make It You, she champions a new narrative: that intelligence and beauty are not opposites, that clarity and femininity coexist, and that personal presence is a strategic advantage. Because women don’t have to choose between being taken seriously and being fully expressed.
From image strategy and decision fatigue to networking, money mindset, and stepping into bigger rooms — this podcast helps you simplify, elevate, and lead with clarity.
Because how you show up matters.

When you talk to someone, and you know, this is my person? It’s such an exciting feeling because you can’t help but think of all the cool things you can do together and talk about. I was hooked when Andrea and I had our first conversation. Andrea is a Seattle-based photographer who can make someone who isn’t used to being in front of a camera look confident and at ease in their photos. She works with making your dated headshots on all your profiles look like a million bucks. She photographs classy boudoir photos, specializes in redoing your dating profile pics so you get more quality dates, and does photos of you just because you want to capture how good you feel at this time.
I’ve had the chance to work closely with Andrea, and our values of taking clients on a seamless experience from start to finish are on point. She’s also my new business BFF and is my go-to person to share all my crazy ideas outside my team because shes’ totally into brainstorming and dreaming up magic.
In this conversation, we talk about:
- The do’s and don’ts of what to wear on a photoshoot
- How your old profile photos could be holding you back from your full potential
- The importance of being authentic in your photos and what that means
- How your personal style can leave a lasting impression
And so much more!
