That"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":131.34,"endTime":134.58,"body":"partnership has been very long."},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":134.61,"endTime":138.18,"body":"Campus Kitchen, UGArden came"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":134.61,"endTime":138.18,"body":"about at about the same time,"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":138.18,"endTime":141.06,"body":"they were sort of conceptualized"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":138.18,"endTime":141.06,"body":"back in like 2010 and I think"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":141.06,"endTime":143.97,"body":"once they started growing"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":141.06,"endTime":143.97,"body":"produce at UGArden, when they"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":143.97,"endTime":146.37,"body":"started out just with a very"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":143.97,"endTime":146.37,"body":"small field space, even then,"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":146.37,"endTime":148.35,"body":"they sort of realized very"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":146.37,"endTime":148.35,"body":"quickly that they have a lot"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":148.35,"endTime":151.14,"body":"more produce than the students"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":148.35,"endTime":151.14,"body":"could take home and use and"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":151.14,"endTime":154.35,"body":"utilize. And so, when Campus"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":151.14,"endTime":154.35,"body":"Kitchen came about, like I said,"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":154.35,"endTime":156.69,"body":"around about that same time,"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":154.35,"endTime":156.69,"body":"they wanted to do that work,"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":156.69,"endTime":159.54,"body":"getting this food back into the"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":156.69,"endTime":159.54,"body":"community. So, it was a natural"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":159.54,"endTime":163.05,"body":"partnership. And so now"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":159.54,"endTime":163.05,"body":"annually, on average, we produce"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":163.05,"endTime":166.74,"body":"about 15,000 pounds of produce."},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":163.05,"endTime":166.74,"body":"Like I said over 90% of that"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":166.74,"endTime":169.83,"body":"produce is going right to Campus"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":166.74,"endTime":169.83,"body":"Kitchen. So on those volunteer"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":169.83,"endTime":173.19,"body":"days after it gets harvested,"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":169.83,"endTime":173.19,"body":"washed and packed, it goes into"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":173.19,"endTime":176.04,"body":"the coolers. At that point,"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":173.19,"endTime":176.04,"body":"Campus Kitchen takes over, and"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":176.04,"endTime":178.2,"body":"they'll take that produce and"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":176.04,"endTime":178.2,"body":"distribute it. It gets"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":178.2,"endTime":180.93,"body":"distributed as both fresh"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":178.2,"endTime":180.93,"body":"produce, it gets put in like"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":180.93,"endTime":184.02,"body":"grocery bags and goes out into"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":180.93,"endTime":184.02,"body":"the community, and it goes into"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":184.02,"endTime":187.38,"body":"meals that the students involved"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":184.02,"endTime":187.38,"body":"with Campus Kitchen actually"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":187.38,"endTime":190.26,"body":"make themselves. Those people that"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":190.26,"endTime":192.99,"body":"get those food are typically"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":190.26,"endTime":192.99,"body":"clients that are referred to"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":192.99,"endTime":195.57,"body":"them through the Athens"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":192.99,"endTime":195.57,"body":"Community Council on Aging. And"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":195.57,"endTime":198.54,"body":"a lot of times it's seniors"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":195.57,"endTime":198.54,"body":"raising children, and that's"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":198.54,"endTime":202.08,"body":"about 50 families each week that"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":198.54,"endTime":202.08,"body":"are receiving those grocery"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":202.08,"endTime":205.29,"body":"bags. But then some of the"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":202.08,"endTime":205.29,"body":"produce is also going out to"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":205.29,"endTime":208.68,"body":"local food pantries. Each week,"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":205.29,"endTime":208.68,"body":"on Wednesdays, we send out about"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":208.68,"endTime":212.22,"body":"150 items to the Covenant Food"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":208.68,"endTime":212.22,"body":"Pantry, the Covenant"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":212.22,"endTime":214.95,"body":"Presbyterian Church on the East"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":212.22,"endTime":214.95,"body":"Side. So, our stuff is getting"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":214.95,"endTime":217.65,"body":"out numerous ways through the"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":214.95,"endTime":217.65,"body":"community. A lot of"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":276.42,"endTime":278.88,"body":"times, that's actually in"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":278.88,"endTime":281.52,"body":"partnership with another"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":278.88,"endTime":281.52,"body":"volunteer community member that"},{"speaker":"Ty Brooks","startTime":281.52,"endTime":283.98,"body":"helps volunteer with that.
