On this Easter Friday, we reflect on the disciples returning to what they knew—fishing—only to find emptiness until Jesus appears. In our own lives, we’re often tempted to return to the familiar, but God calls us to move forward with Him, trusting in His guidance and love. Just as Jesus revealed Himself in the breaking of the bread and the shared meal on the shore, He continues to nourish and strengthen us through the Eucharist. Today, let’s recognize how Christ is present in both the quiet and powerful moments of our lives, inviting us into deeper joy, trust, and hope.
