Susan Mohini Kane finishes up this first season of The Power of Singing Podcast: The Life-Transforming Power of Singing with her story, song, and question entitled "The Power of Singing to Affirm One's Existence". Susan Mohini Kane is a former opera singer and college professor who quit her job during the pandemic to follow her dreams of writing and performing her own songs full time. This episode includes her story of how she came to believe in herself as a singer and how that lead to her making a promise to herself. Dr. Kane's recording of herself singing "Dignare Domine" from Dvorak's Te Deum with the Bakersfield Symphony and Choirs is beautiful and inspiring.
