Discovering the Ability to Make Sound

Susan Mohini Kane THE VOICE GROUP

Welcome to Season Three of THE POWER OF SINGING Podcast entitled: The Power of Children Singing. Our host for this season is Joyce Wells of Enjoy Your Sound.com. Episode #1 features Rich McKinney, a wonderful musician and teacher who lost his vocal cords through exposure to agent orange in Vietnam. Without his own voice, Rich has a unique perspective on discovering the ability to make sound and how, when your own voice is gone, you have unique challenges. Rich wrote a song for this episode called
"Abracadabra" and it is beautifully sung by 11 year old Ella. The entire Santosha Voice Group discuses the elements of music that inspire children to sing. For more information about THE POWER OF SINGING Podcast and the Santosha Voice Group please visit our website: www.santoshavoicegroup.com.
