Marianne Scuicco, RN
Marianne Sciucco is a writer who happens to be a nurse, using her experience to create stories that highlight the humanity in all of us. She writes contemporary and young adult fiction inspired by her work with families facing aging, elder care, Alzheimer’s, and nursing home placement.
Her debut novel, Blue Hydrangeas, an Alzheimer’s love story, was published in 2013. The book led her to co-found AlzAuthors, a global community of authors writing about Alzheimer’s and dementia from personal experience to support caregivers and families.
Marianne is also the host of the Untangling Alzheimer’s and Dementia podcast and author of the Blue Hydrangeas prequels Christmas at Blue Hydrangeas and A Wedding at Blue Hydrangeas, as well as the young adult novel Swim Season.
She works as a campus nurse in New York’s Hudson Valley. Learn more at MarianneSciucco.com.
