Jennifer Kaufman brings a perspective on autism that few people can claim. As a school principal with over a decade serving students with autism and the grandmother of a child with autism, she lives this world from both sides. She is the author of Grandparenting on the Spectrum: A Journey from Both Sides of the Desk and speaks to grandparents, families, and first responders about navigating the autism journey with confidence and compassion. She is also the founder of First Response Autism, where she trains police, first responders and college campus security teams on ways in which to best support autistic and neurodivergent individuals in their communities.
