Revealed - Session 1 - Patty Clemons

Patty Clemons

What if provision starts with presence, not paychecks? In this powerful opening session of our new series on the revealed names of God, we begin with Jehovah Jireh and explore a deeper, more personal picture of how God provides—often in ways that look like peace under pressure, courage to wait, unexpected helpers, and a table set right in the presence of our enemies.

Through both Scripture and lived experience, Patty Clemons shares vulnerable and faith-filled stories that reveal God’s hand in the everyday: Abraham’s surrender on Mount Moriah, a family business derailed by dementia, a lawsuit that turned into rescue, a tornado that leveled a home but left lives untouched, a stolen wedding ring returned years later, and a cashier in tears who met God between grocery aisles.

Across each of these moments runs a powerful truth: surrender unlocks supply. When we lay down what we love—status, plans, grudges, or even good dreams—God meets us with more of Himself. That’s the true meaning of provision. This session explores how offense can block God’s flow of blessing, why joy can thrive even when circumstances don’t, and how God often provides through His people in small, timely acts that carry eternal impact.

You’ll hear how prayer persisted until an entire family turned to faith, how quiet trust grows when God feels silent, and how prisons and nursing homes are witnessing a fresh move of the Spirit among those the world forgets.
If you’re weary, between jobs, or carrying a private ache, this teaching offers practical hope rooted in Scripture and authentic stories of God’s faithfulness.

Come rethink what provision really means—not just as material supply, but as peace, guidance, community, and the courage to say “yes” to God’s leading. Take the next step: surrender what you’ve been gripping, invite God to use you, and watch what He brings from the thicket.

Tyler Lynde:

We had one that we did over the summer. And we felt like the Lord really wanted us to uh to add to our community groups. So our community groups happen during the week and usually every other week. And they're we had them three times a year as well. But we felt like that it was important for us to also have some deeper, uh deeper dive into teaching, and especially when it comes from to uh discipleship focus. So we're gonna start this series on revealed. Uh it's we're talking about the Jehovah compound names of God found in the Old Testament. And uh we're talking about what the character and nature of God, who he is, and and how he describes himself through those things. And then also it's really easy, it's really amazing, I should say, to see the connection point between the Old Testament names of God and Jesus. Jesus is the fulfillment of all of those things that we find in the Old Testament. I know that we're getting close to the end of our reading uh this year. We've been reading through the Old Testament, and I know it can get laborious at times because it's like the same thing over and over again where Israel's doing great, they have a great king, and then all of a sudden they don't, they're not doing well, they fall, and but then there's a promise they're gonna come back and all of that. But when we read the Old Testament, we understand that it's pointing to Jesus, then it makes a lot more sense, right? And so these different names are found in the Old Testament in the Hebrew language, and we're gonna be uh studying each one. So there'll be eight different weeks. There'll be two weeks where we won't meet, and we'll just send out a text to everybody. So if you can just be looking for that text, we'll let you know. And it's one of them's going to be the day before Thanksgiving. So is that a good reason? Okay. I figured somebody may be wanting to make a pie somewhere, so give you that night up. And then there'll be another night where we're having a special meeting here with Master Builder. So but we'll we'll you don't have to worry about the dates, we'll get those to you. Okay? So tonight we're gonna start off, and also another thing that these meetings do is give a chance for people within our body that God uses to teach, but don't necessarily always get a chance on Sunday mornings, just because there's six guys, and and also with actually with Neil, there's seven that uh that have an opportunity to share here uh on a regular basis and then special speakers that come in. And so this is really a great privilege for me to be able to see some of the other uh powerfully gifted people within our church be able to share truth from the word of God. So, without further ado, we have Miss Patty Clemens who's gonna come and share the Word of God with us tonight, and we're so excited, and so please let's welcome her.

Patty Clemons:

I'm so glad to be here tonight. I want to pretend that y'all are prisoners at the prison. Yeah, because that'll help me. But I love the subject I got to speak on, Jehovah Jireh, our God that provides. That means so much to me because I'm a living testimony of Jehovah Jireh, the God that provides. I don't want to read the whole chapter of Genesis 22, but you can read it later. But in Genesis 22, 11, Abraham named the place the Lord God provided. And I love the story of Abraham. He was a man of faith, but I have a feeling he had the power of the Holy Spirit on the inside of him. Because when God asked him to lay down Isaac, and you know, God's asked me to lay stuff down before. But when God asked Abraham to lay Isaac on the altar, also God called Abraham a friend of God. So I have a feeling that Abraham had been intimate with God. I had a feeling that Abraham knew if he surrendered something to God, that God would take care of him. And so when he uh surrendered and took Isaac and put him on the altar, can you imagine? We can't even imagine what that was like. But God provided, he provided a lamb. And that goes into another place where God says he will provide, Psalms 23. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. God is faithful, he is Jehovah Jireh or provider. And it also says, My God will supply all of your needs according to his riches in glory. Now, when we talk about needs, we sometimes just think about money. Sometimes it's wisdom, sometimes it's guidance, sometimes it's just being, maybe you're lonely. And I love the scripture that says that God will even provide in your lonely times. He will be that friend that will stick closer than a brother. Now that I'm a widow, my whole season changed and I was lost. And God always told me, He said, I will provide. And he has provided for me. So as we go along in the journey of knowing that Jehovah Jireh is our provider, he also tells us, I will never leave you and I will never forsake you. I don't want us to think about when uh we think about Jehovah Jireh, that's just about money. It, I mean, God will supply our needs, but it's not always about money. It could maybe be that you have been in depression. Well, God says He is your hope. Or it could be maybe you've lost a job. But if God allows that door to shut, he'll open another door. We can always rely on the greatest thing, and that's the faithfulness of God. He is faithful. So as we move along, I want to tell you a story of when God provided for me supernaturally. Did you know God can provide supernaturally? He can provide through people you wouldn't believe. He can provide. Went blank. Sorry. Can that be wiped out right there?

Tyler Lynde:

Okay.

Patty Clemons:

Anyway, Econo Windows Inciting, that's what it was. We had a business, me and Wade, and um, y'all don't know the whole story, we won't go there, but as Wade started getting sick, you had to measure windows a perfect way. He messed up on a multi-million dollar home, measured every window wrong, because now he was in the second stage of dementia, which we didn't know. And I remember getting a phone call from the man saying, We're gonna sue you. And I remember just panicking. I went before uh some elders at the time and they said we're gonna have to pray. And God whispered in my spirit, I will provide for you. I will provide. I had no clue how he was gonna do it, but at the time we were making $150,000 a year. Now that was a lot of money for me because I came from poverty. And man, and we were just going along, and God always just said in my spirit, I will provide. But sometimes when we're facing a challenge, our mind will tell us different. You're not gonna make it, you're going under. But God promised in his word, I have come to give you life and to give it to you abundantly. That just don't mean money. It means peace, love, kindness, joy, all these things. And I remember getting a phone call from a guy, Wayne Justice, and he said, Miss Patty, I'm going out to that job site. Pray for me that God will help me fix this. God was going to provide through a man. And God does use people at times to provide. At that time, it looked impossible. But Wayne Justice went out and he talked to the guy and they fixed the job. Well, at the time, now we were going to be sued for all kinds of money. And once again, the Holy Spirit spoke to me. Be still and know that I am God. Sometimes you just gotta be still and let God do it. Because God is faithful. He's not a man that he can lie. So as time went on, we shut the business down. When God closes a door, he's a God that provides. He opened another door. And the man of God, Wayne Justice, a servant of God. At the time we went from $150,000 to zero now. And I knew in my spirit that God would provide because God is faithful, and with God, nothing's impossible. And I remember the man of God, the servant of God. He said, I'm going to pay Wade so much money a week to ride him around in my truck. And that's what they'd done. They rode around together for two years, and they had church in the truck. They had church on the job side. Because anybody that knew Wade, he was a preacher. And I could not believe how God provided for us. Sometimes it looks like you're not gonna make it. But you know what God says? Though you walk through the valley of the shadow, death fear no evil. Now you got to walk through it. Because God will provide. He's Jehovah Jar, our provider. And I remember them driving around for two years having revival in that truck and leading all kinds of people to Jesus Christ. Our ways are not God's ways. And another thing I want to say about our provider. Did you know He provides rest? Wow, rest is so amazing. God gives us rest. In the middle of a storm, rest can come. Excuse me. God can give you rest if you're looking at maybe a child that's not serving God. He will provide that rest and that affirmation that your child will be saved. Or maybe you're facing a health problem and the doctors have told you you have this or this. God is Jehovah's provider, your great physician. He can do the impossible. But what I love most about Jehovah Jireh is he is our prince of peace. He can give us peace. And lately, when I've been pressing into God, he has given me such peace. And we can have peace. We are a part of a kingdom that is unshakable, unmovable. We're not a part of this world. Now we have to live in this world, but Jehovah Jireh will go with us. He says, I will never leave you. I will never forsake you. What the enemy meant for evil, God said, I can turn it around. Need some turning around tonight? I do. God turns things around for us. He's so faithful. He's so kind. And I love that the Lord says, I will love you with the everlasting love. Remember, Jehovah Jarr means so many things. God is love. He is kind. He's merciful. He's so good to us. And I love this story. One time I was at the end with Wade. I had taken care of him for nine years. I was pretty exhausted. And going back to the story of Abraham, Abraham asked him to give up the most precious thing, and that was Isaac. And I remember Wade was in the nursing home for 16 months because I couldn't care for him anymore. It broke my heart. But I remember going home to my beautiful home where Wade and I used to live, and the Lord said to me the same thing he asked Abraham. Will you give your life up? Will you give your life up? I said, I can't do it, God. I can't do it. I've been doing this for so long. And I remember him just challenging me. Will you give your life up? I didn't know what God meant until he said to me, Will you surrender? I said, Lord, I don't know if I can say that yet. I don't know if I can say that. So finally the next day I go to the nursing home, sit with Wade, and I come back and the Lord asks me again, Will you lay your life down? And now he was telling me what it meant. Will you take care of Wade if he lives 20 more years? My flesh said, no. No. But have you ever noticed when you get in the presence of God? You feel his presence and you want to please him. And I remember I surrendered. In my living room, I fell on my face and I raised my hands and I said, God, here I am. I'm laying it on the altar. I'm laying my ministry down, I'm laying it all. I say yes to you, God, I'll do it. And I meant it with everything in me. I meant it. Jehovah Jarr was there to provide through the Holy Spirit the power to lay that down. You cannot lay anything down without the power of the Holy Spirit to help you. And I remember I went to the nursing home and they were telling me, Wade's at the end of his life. I mean, it was like God was asking me, and now Wade was going to leave me. And God was speaking to me. I wanted to see if you would surrender. And sometimes God just asked us, Are you willing? Abraham was willing, but God provided the Lamb of God. Look what God has provided for us. He has provided everything we need in Christ Jesus. And I can honestly say that after Wade left, the first thing the enemy does is he comes to steal, kill, and destroy. And he was bringing all this condemnation. But Jehovah Jar had already provided peace for me because I knew that I had surrendered my life to him. And I knew I had done everything for Wade I could do. So I want you to be challenged through the Holy Spirit if He allowed if He comes to you and says to you, are you willing to surrender? Maybe surrender offense. Maybe surrender being selfish or pride. All these things you surrender to God, He gives you the beautiful fruits of the Spirit in the place of them. And I can honestly say tonight that for many years I prayed for my family. Very dysfunctional. But the Lord spoke to me a year ago and said, if you'll pray and you'll stand, I'll save every family member. And I said, Really? Well, they're half crazy, God. Are you so are you? Are you I mean I'm serious? I was like, are you serious? You know. He said, No, if you'll pray and stand, I will save them. Once again, Jehovah Job was going to provide salvation for my whole family. One by one, they started coming into the kingdom. And I can stand here and say to you, every sibling I have is serving Jesus Christ tonight. Every one of them. Every one of them are serving Jesus tonight. And that is the faithfulness of God. But you know what? I had to do. Remember what I said when God asked me in the living room in my beautiful home. We're waiting, I lived. Will you lay your life down? You gotta lay your life down. But I am here as a testimony that God will give you himself. He's a rewarder of those that diligently seek him. He's a rewarder of him, of his presence, his glory. He will give you himself. It's worth it. Does it hurt? It hurts a lot. Recently I had to surrender something that was very painful. And the Lord just spoke to me again, just like he did Abraham. Every time you surrender something, the Lamb of God is coming through. He's coming through, man. And it will be better than what you had before. And I can't wait to see what God does in my next season of my life. I'm just in a waiting time, but I'm not wasting it. I'm letting Jehovah Jarr provide for me peace and joy. And I remember the story after Wade had passed away. Somebody was watching my house for months. Soon as Wade passed away, I was standing at my door and there was a knock that came to my door. And there was a guy in a hoodie. And he seen me and he ran away. And I thought, oh my God, what was that about? I had no clue. But once again, God had provided peace for me. Well, I went away to spend the weekend with some women, and I came back home, and I walked in and I said, something's not right. Something's not right here. And someone had broken into my house. They had taken all the valuables. They took all the medication. Not one thing was damaged in my house. They knew where everything was. We still don't, we kind of know who it is, but we won't go there. They took everything. And the detective came and he said, ma'am, all I've got to say to you is this. Whoever came to your door that night, I don't know what stopped them. Because you shouldn't be alive. Once again, God provided. He provided safety for me that night. And um, so as we go along, he took the most precious thing, and that was my wedding ring and Wade's wedding ring. Those were the things I loved. Clem Ferris came, um, I don't know what year it was, it was four or five, maybe four years ago, and he said to me, Miss Patty, I see a diamond. I said, Yay, I'm getting married. He said, No, I don't think it's that. Anyway, he said, God calls you a diamond, but I see a diamond. Well, about two weeks after that, Anderson County Sheriff's Department called me and said, Patty, we need you to come to the sheriff's department. I said, Am I in trouble? They said, No, we think you're going to be very happy. So I go and the detective that had my case for those years, he says, I want you to sit down. I want to show you something. He found my diamond ring. He found it. And the Lord spoke to me again and said, I provided. I knew where that ring was all those years. I just saved it to give it to you today. So God knows everything we go through. So when we talk about Jehovah Jarreh, it just doesn't mean money. It means kindness, love, compassion, all these things. So I have seen God provide, but I've also seen God ask me, will you surrender? And I'm a living example. I'm not perfect, but I will tell you this. I am a living proof that when you lay your life down for him, he will give you more of himself. Every single time you lay your life down, he will give you more of himself. And you know that's what God is after right now. He is after us saying this. Will you surrender? Abraham surrendered everything. Did you know God called Abraham a friend of God? I want to be God's friend. If I'm God's friend, I can love anybody. I told him Friday night, you don't have to like me, but you're commanded to love me. So, you know, that's it. We're commanded to love everybody. But we can't do that unless we have the power of the Holy Spirit. But Jehovah Jirah is our provider. But anytime you surrender anything for Jesus, he will give more of himself. There used to be old soul, less of me and more of Jesus. Wow, that's what we're looking for right now. We're in a troubled time. It's dark, it's gonna get darker. But the Bible says, arise and shine, for your light has come. Jehovah Jarrell will put the light of God in you wherever you go. He's gonna go with you. He will not fail you. I've lived through times where I didn't even know if I was gonna make it or not. God moves at the last minute. Have you ever noticed that? Can you imagine what Abraham felt? I mean, I'm a visionary. He was probably carrying his son up there. His son was probably saying, What are you doing? But Abraham knew the intimacy of God. He had been with God. He knew, maybe he knew, well, if he dies, God can raise him from the dead. I don't know. But he knew that he knew that God was with him. That's what I want you all to know tonight that Jehovah Jar is your provider. Anything you need, he's got it. He's got it. And he will not leave you. Sometimes it looks like that God's not moving. I love this though. When God is silent, that doesn't mean he's not moving. I'm sure when Abraham was carrying Isaac, it was very quiet. But some we're deep in his spirit. I think Abraham recalled the times that he has spent with God. In those intimacy times with him. I have I've never known God like I've known him now when I became a widow. And if widows are in here, they understand. But when I became a widow, God took away the orphan's heart. He said, I'm going to give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. I'm going to provide and I'm going to let you see who I've created you to be. That is awesome news. Do y'all agree with that? That is awesome news. I mean, God is our provider. He provides everything we need. When it looks like we're not going to make it, he gives us brand new mercy every single morning. Get up, amazing grace waiting on us, brand new mercy waiting on us. He's waiting on you. I was driving the other day just to let you know that God wants to provide through you to be somebody else's provider. It's so important that we give. And we are a giving church. But I just want to touch on that for a minute. It's so blessed. It's more blessed to give than receive. And I have to honestly say that I live totally by faith. I live by faith. But I have some amazing people that are God's human beings on this earth that help me. Why? Because they believe in what I'm doing. I'm nothing without Jesus. But with him, I am something. So God will provide you the identity in him so that you can go provide for other people. That's what it's all about. We are his hands and we are his feet. Sometimes I hear the Holy Spirit just asking me if it's somebody that I really don't click with. Just go give them a hug. I don't want to, God. Well, too bad. Do it anyway. Too bad. That is tough. Just do it. Or maybe somebody's offended me. One time somebody came up in church right before church and they said, Something must be wrong with you, Miss Patty, because you never got married. I was like, what? You know? And the next Sunday, the Lord said, now you're gonna have to go over and give them a hug. I wanted to smack them, kind of. I mean, I'm just being honest. I just wanted to like, you know. So we have to be, we have to let the Holy Spirit help us. We cannot do none of this without the help of the Holy Spirit. But one thing I want to touch on for just a minute is the Bible says it's more blessed to give than receive. That's what Abraham was doing when he was giving up Isaac. I've lost a son. I can't imagine. He was a young, a little baby, but that broke me when I lost him. I can't imagine. I don't know how old Isaac was. I think he was up in his years, maybe. But Abraham knew that if he gave to God, God would give back. So I want you to know that Jehovah Jirah is our provider. And he loves it when we give our finances, our love, our kindness, just a pat on the shoulder. Just maybe just saying, you know, I love you. You know, I send out a lot of texts every day. So I test some people sometimes just to see what, if they miss me, if I don't text them. So I'm not gonna text them for a few days and see if they miss me. And sure enough, after two days, they're like, where are you, Miss Patty? You know, so it's funny. But anyway, I do like to exhort because God exhorts me, and what he gives to me, I want to give back out. But I want you to realize tonight that Jehovah Jire is the provider. And I've seen it. Every one of you all in here have seen God provide for you. Y'all seen another story I want to tell, because I love telling stories because when you tell stories, people know it's real. Um, we were in a tornado. I know y'all think, wow, she's been through a lot. Well, everybody has. But anyway, we're in a tornado. The only reason I knew it was a tornado, because Wade was taking a shower and he took, came out, came out of there and said, that's a tornado sound. I said, Hell, we don't have tornadoes in Clinton. We're not, no, it's not. He said, it's a tornado. I said, no, it's not. He said, and then a big uh alarm went off that a tornado was hitting Clinton, Tennessee. And within probably 30 minutes, a tornado was hitting our uh beautiful, beautiful log house. I was screaming, I was crying and screaming, and Wade just got on top of me and he said, we're gonna be fine. I was screaming, God, if I'm gonna die, don't let it hurt. Please, just don't let it hurt. Just don't let it hurt, God. Because I know, I know I'm dying. I am dying. And I'm asking because we had glass all down the uh uh down the wall. And I was like, God, don't let that glass cut me all to pieces. I was just imagining all this stuff. And then Dummy said, Where's my cell phone? I gotta call somebody. Well, the neighbors had already called 911, and I had just done a women's conference, and I had a little pink suitcase, and I had just got home, waited, stayed at somebody's house, and the fireman came, and some of my church people there, Miss Charlotte. She was right there, of course. They called, she she came when she found out, and uh Red Cross was there. So the fireman came and he said, Ma'am, we heard you screaming all the way down the street. So I knew I had some favor with the fireman. God was gonna provide again, because I said, sir, do you mind if I go back in the house? I gotta get something. He said, Well, is it important? I said, Yes, to me it's very important. He said, Well, put this little, I had to put on a helmet or something because the house was crooked, kinda. And he said, Is it medication? I said, well, kinda, yeah. So I went in and I got my Little pink suitcase because it had my hairspray curling arms and makeup stuff in it. And I came out carrying it. And he was like, Is there medication in that? And I said, No, sir, there's not. I'm sorry. But that was another time God even provides the little things. Now, to me, that was a big thing. But those are some of the ways God has provided for me that's been traumatic. Those were traumatic things for me when we lost that. But God provided because me and Wade walked out once again. Not one scratch on our body. The house was destroyed. It was gone. But we didn't have one scratch on our body. Nothing. God provided again. Jehovah Jar, air provider. He provided for us again. So we all have stories to tell, but the greatest story is God wants us to provide. This is where I want to just talk for a minute. God wants us to provide the good news to hurting people right now. There are people that are hurting. They are craving somebody to love them. And you know when God touches you, nothing can touch you the same again. So let God use you in this season because people are hurting. I was driving down the road the other day. I usually go to this one dollar store and I felt like I should go into another dollar store. And I went in. A girl was at the cash research, she was pitiful looking. And I just said, Are you all right? She said, No, ma'am. She just broke down, started crying. And I asked her, I said, Can I pray for you? Yes, ma'am, yes. And we had church in the dollar store. She started calling people over. We had church right there in the dollar store. That's how hungry people are for God right now. Jehovah Jar will provide through you. He will provide through you. I'm telling you, people are hungry. And I love the story, Psalms 23, which we all know it. But let me just say something about this part. I love this because this happens to me a lot. He says he will prepare a table for you in the presence of your enemies. Jehovah Jar would do that. Your enemy could be anything tonight. And God's already made a table for you. He's prepared a table, and everything you need is prepared on that table. Everything you need. He will give it to you. Whatever you need is on that table. We're living in a time now as the body of Christ, not just this chart. I'm talking about as the body of Christ. That we need Jehovah Jarreh to provide for us. But he needs to provide for us himself. Did y'all hear what I said? Now come on. That's what he wants to provide. Because if we get him, everything else will be in the package. Because it says, seek first the kingdom of God, and all things will be added unto you. That's what we need to be seeking. We need to run after him. We need to say, God, whatever it takes, whatever it takes, God, I want to walk in your anointing. All the anointing means is his presence. That's all it means. His presence. In his presence is fullness of joy. Wow, joy is so amazing. Joy is contagious. Joy is so, you know, we went to a restaurant one time and they were asking me and Charlotte and our group, or have y'all been drinking wine? Judah Brought may have been with us. And one of them, one of them just spoke up and said, No, we're not drunk as you suppose. We're just drunk on the Holy Spirit. Because the Holy Spirit gives us joy. Come on, he is the provider of joy. The devil did not create joy. And joy is not based on your circumstance. It's based on what? Who's in control? Come on, he's in control, man. And the joy of the Lord's our strength. Jehovah, our provider. I just love saying his name. The name of Jesus is above every name. Sometimes when you're down, the walls are caving in. All you gotta do is say, Jesus help. Jesus help me. In Morgan County prison, we're seeing a move of God. I just want to go down that road for a minute. We're seeing a move of God like I've never seen. Jehovah Jar is providing for those prisoners. Did y'all hear what I said? Those prisoners are meeting Jesus. Because Jehovah Jar is our provider. And this is kind of what I really want to say on my heart that I felt like the Holy Spirit gave me. That we're living in a time now where it's going to take humility, laying ourselves down. Just laying ourselves down. Loving each other, forgiving each other, letting go of offense. Be angry. Do not be angry. Do not be angry, people. Let it go. Choose your battles. Jehovah Jireh will help you. Choose your battles. Sometimes it's not even worth it. You know, sometimes it's like, nah, that's not even worth it. Just let it go. But we're living in a time now where the harvest is right. Are you gonna let Jehovah Jireh provide through you what somebody else needs? Because people are crying out for God. Young people crying out, older people, nursing homes, prisons, and all Jesus has asked him. We can put our name in front of Abraham's name. Where you lay your Isaac down. Isaac means laughter. Now I borrowed this from somebody. I think Ebon said it. I'm probably gonna take credit for it. But laughter, what do you do when God takes away your joy? Huh? Keep on worshiping. Because you know what Jesus said? Those who sow in tears will reap in joy. Come on. Those who sow in tears will reaping joy. So I'm asking, well, the Holy Spirit's asking you tonight. Will you let Jehovah Jarreh provide through you? Will you let Him provide through you? And I've said yes to Him. I don't know what that's gonna mean, people. We need to surrender. We could turn this whole city upside down. If we let Jehovah Jarreh provide through us. That's gonna start with us one by one. So my challenge to you tonight is this Will you say yes to God? Will you say, Lord, not my will, but your will be done? Will you say, Lord, if I've offended anyone, I lay it at your feet. I do what Abraham done, I'd lay it on the altar. Wow, that's a big one. Or maybe you can ask yourself this question: Am I so selfish, God, that I can't even give someone something when they need it? That's a big one. I had this purse in my trunk for a year. And I was in the dollar store and I thought, I want, I'm keeping that purse in my trunk because I'm going to carry that purse. Well, I was in the dollar store, and that girl said, Oh, my purse has falling apart. And I thought, no, I'm not doing it. I was like, I'm not doing it. I'm not doing it. And then I said, if she mentions it again, I'll do it, God. And she said, I really don't want a big purse, just a medium purse. And I was like, if she says the color, I'm gonna die right here. So I said, Brittany, I'll be back in a minute. So I popped my truck and I looked at it and I was like, wow. So I took it back into you would have thought I gave her a thousand dollars. And the Lord said, I had that purse for her all the time. Jehovah Jireh provided for a young girl at the Dollar Tree. Now, I'm not saying none of that boasting in me, I'm just giving you examples, okay? So always know this whatever God tells you to surrender, you will get something better. Is it easy? No, it's not easy. And I still want to say this again because I love to say it. Abraham named the place the Lord will provide. Why? He had been through it. God provided the lamb. The Lord is our shepherd, we shall not want. Think about that for a minute. The Lord is our shepherd, we shall not want. He maketh us lie down in green pastures. That means we can have peace. Oh my gosh, peace like this world cannot have. That's what they're looking for. We can go to bed at night knowing that when we wake up in the morning, new mercy's right there waiting. New mercy. Whatever we face, God gives us the grace to carry on, right? He gives us that grace, amazing grace. He gives it to us. Jehovah Jirah carries us through our darkest valleys. Every one of us has been through a valley in here tonight. If you have it, I promise you you'll go through a valley. I'm not here to give you a downer, but I just I'm gonna tell you the truth, okay? Used to, I thought, oh, I'm a Christian, nothing will ever happen to me. That's not true, that's a lie. Because we're not any better than Jesus or his disciples. But Jehovah Jireh is the most precious thing to me because I've actually walked it and I've lived it, and I'm still walking it. So I'm asking you this. Have you grown weary in praying for your loved ones? Don't quit praying. Have you grown weary and maybe finding a great job? Don't grow weary, Jehovah God will provide for you. Are you depressed tonight? David said, My soul, my soul, why are you so cast down? And then David recalled everything God had done for him. If God done it once, he can do it again. Jehovah Jar will provide everything you need. God's timing is not our timing. But now let's put ourselves on the altar. Let's put ourselves on the altar. If you can lead one person to Jesus, it's worth it. That's where I am in my life. I'm not perfect. But I know this. Nothing means more to me than his presence. Nothing. I couldn't say that two years ago. There's no way I could say that. So I want to challenge you tonight as a body of Christ, not just our church. I'm talking about the full body of Christ. Can you lay your Isaacs down tonight? Maybe it's sin, maybe it's pride, maybe it's jealousy, envy, strife, selfishness. If we lay those things down on the altar, I promise you we will look more like Jesus. We will look more like him. I was telling uh Noah and Susie a minute ago, I have a podcast, and I love podcasts because it don't show your face. And the editor, the address, I never had to listen to it. I've never listened to one apple. And one of them said, Well, Miss Patty, you look fine. But you know, sometimes the enemy tells us different. But you know what I'm learning? Jesus loves me just the way I am. He thinks I'm amazing. And he loves the way I talk. He loves my accent. He loves me. He thinks I'm amazing. And man, when you get that inside your spirit, no devil in hell can make you feel different. Because he thinks you're pretty amazing. But I do think as a body that God is calling us to a higher place. He's called us to a higher place. I want us to be a church that says yes to him. We've paid a price. Trinity, chapel, Trinity community, we've paid a big price. But I do believe that we are entering into some of the best days of our life as far as the kingdom of God. But it will require us laying our Isaacs down. It's going to require something of us. I'm willing to say yes. I'm saying yes every day. So I'm asking you tonight, as a body, can you say to God, like Abraham did? A friend. He was a friend of God. Can you do what Abraham did and say, God, you search my heart and see if I have an Isaac, something that I love more than you. That's a hard one right there. That's a hard one. So I want to challenge y'all with that. I think he's challenged the whole body of Christ. And remember what Abraham God provided the lamb. The shepherd, the lamb that died for us. So as I was praying today, I felt like this is what the Holy Spirit was just saying. That this is an hour and this is a time. That great trouble is brewing. But a great move in my spirit is coming. Did y'all hear what I said? A great move. The harvest is right. The labors are few, but now my labors are saying yes to me. I had a dream. I wasn't going to share the dream unless the Holy Spirit prompted me. I had prophetic dreams. Sometimes I never share. But in this dream, there was a huge crowd of people. I mean, hundreds of people. And it seemed to be an angel. I'm not sure. I'm not into all that stuff. But I think it was. And it was young people. And they were screaming out, help me, help me. It seemed like to me they were prodigals. And this person, whoever it was, was going up to each one of them, putting a ring on their finger. And I was like, Lord, what was that? He said it was the signet ring. And I was putting my ring on their finger, bringing them out of the place of darkness. And these kids were screaming in joy. So that's where we're coming, people. We're getting ready to see the greatest move of God we've ever seen. But this is what the Holy Spirit showed me. If you're willing to lay your Isaac down, then I'll be willing to flow through you as a holy vessel. Come on, people, that's what we want. That's what we want. We just want Jesus to be magnified in us. We want him to be glorified in our lives. It took many years for me finally to say to God, you're all that matters to me, Lord. You're all that matters to me. God, can we all say that? Second thing, can we say, God, here I am. Use me. Be careful about saying that. Or how about here I am, send me? That's another one. Be careful. Here I am, you know. So we're living in that time. But the Holy Spirit is in us. And He will move through you. He will move through your hands, your feet, your mouth. He will move through you if you just say yes to Him. If a room, if this room just said yes to Him, we could turn this whole city upside down. It's coming. God, I know it's coming. I feel it. It's coming. So I just want you to know that Jehovah Jar is your provider tonight. He sees everything you're going through. He knows you by name. He knows every hair upon your head. His loving kindness is better than anything. You know what wins people. This is what won my family to Jesus when I quit being offended. Did y'all hear what I just said?

Tyler Lynde:

Yes. Amen.

Patty Clemons:

The Lord spoke to me. Somebody said something to me this morning. Anytime you're going to speak, get ready, because here came the dart. And I went, Oh, I got you, Satan. I'm not taking your bait. I'm not taking it. Because the enemy will bait you like a mouse trap. He'll just bait you. Don't take it. Don't take it. And they even said, Are you upset? I was. And then all of a sudden I went, wait a minute. That's a trap. It's a trap. Because it was a family member. I said, no, I'm not upset. On the other end, I wanted to, you know. But I said, I'm not upset. I'm fine. And I am fine now. So I'm saying, let that stuff go. It's not worth it. It's not. Here's how you need to think. David said, do not withhold your Holy Spirit. Do not take your Holy Spirit from me. That is strong. Do not take your presence from me, Lord. Don't take it. And it all says, do not grieve the Holy Spirit. The way that we grieve him is through offense, bitterness, resentment, selfishness, all these things that grieve him. But I promise you this the more time you spend with him, the more you start looking like him. Now I can't promise you're going to look in the mirror and go, wow, I'm beautiful. I can't promise you that. I mean, you might. Some of you women might be able to do that. But I'm just saying, the more you spend time with him, the more you're going to act like him. So I want to challenge you tonight to remember the greatest days are ahead for the body of Christ. But it is going to get darker. But arise and shine our light. You know, we sing in the nursing home. Those little people, they'll still sing that song, this little light of mine. I'm going to let it shine. I mean, those little people, Miss Daughty and BJ, these people, I mean, their little spirits know Jesus. And they'll just sing those songs like nothing. So it's a time that we can rejoice. But it's a sign, it is also, this is what the Lord showed. It's a time to be intimate with Him. Religion is over. It's about relationship now. It's about being intimate with Him. I promise you this. That's what the Lord showed me. Somebody's watching your life. You may never know it. Somebody's watching how you handle your life. Maybe your kids, grandkids, maybe a neighbor, I don't know. But somebody's watching your life. So let Jehovah Jarr provide. More than anything, let him provide his presence. Nothing like his presence. Nothing like waking up, knowing that God's got you. One time I was really stressed out, and I said, God, when, when, when, why, why? And he said, let me give you a little story. Because he speaks to me in stories because I'm simple-minded. And uh he said, I'll give you a story. When you were, when you were in your mother's belly, you were not even born yet. And Wade was graduating Carson Newman. I was 20 years ahead of you, Miss Patty. And I'm still ahead of you now. So God's always ahead of us. Okay, so we can take comfort in that. So I just want to leave you with this thought tonight. We've been through some tough times since COVID. The president's not going to save our nation. Politics is not going to save our nation. Jehovah Jireh, if my people repent and turn from their wicked ways and humble themselves, I will heal their land. That's what it's going to take. And did you know the Holy Spirit's on the inside of you? He can help you do that. He can help you do that. He can help you surrender. So I'm just asking you tonight, where the Lord's asking, not me. Can we be like Abraham? A friend of God. And one who will lay our Isaacs on the altar. Can we? I can't answer that for you. God is dealing with me, has been, and I've said yes, maybe something else will come up. And I felt like the Lord said to me in prayer, if we can do this, and we can say, Lord, I trust you to have your way. We're just accountable for this body. That's all. And if we can just say, Lord, here I am. I'll walk with you, God. If we can do that, I promise you, God will show up. And he says in Ephesians, I will do more for you than you could ask, think, or imagine. That's awesome to me. So I'm pretty done. So, Father, we just thank you for tonight. We thank you, God. We bless you tonight. We love you, God. I bless every person here tonight, God. I thank you for our pastors, our elders, God. And Lord, we're asking you, Holy Spirit, to help us to surrender our lives to you, God. And God, would you bind us together like never before as a body? When one hurts, we all hurt. When one's happy, we're all happy, God. I'm asking you, make us look more like you, Jesus. And we're just asking you to do this, God. And we can't do this without your Holy Spirit, Lord. So we say yes to you, God. And only you know our hearts. But God, we're asking you to go on this journey with us as we go on this journey with you, God, and as we search our own hearts like David did. If there's any wicked way in us, oh God, please help us in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Thank you, Patty.
