And f- this rabbi, perfectly nice guy, good"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":234.919,"endTime":239.199,"body":"synagogue, he's retired now, but he would never talk to me. He"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":239.199,"endTime":243.5,"body":"barely still talk, talks to me now. Jesus was what? Italian. Now, how would the Gentiles have known about a"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":291.92,"endTime":296.259,"body":"Messiah in the first place? So how could it be pagan? It's not"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":296.259,"endTime":302.18,"body":"pagan; it's Jewish. If anybody converted, it's the Gentiles,"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":302.18,"endTime":306.819,"body":"not the Jews. We convert from sin, but when it comes to"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":306.819,"endTime":307.759,"body":"religious faith,"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":308.74,"endTime":311.8,"body":"being a Jew who believes in Jesus is more of a fulfillment"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":311.8,"endTime":315.468,"body":"than a conversion. So somehow we have to communicate two"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":341.379,"endTime":343.74,"body":"things to Jewish people. Number one, you can be Jewish and"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":343.74,"endTime":346.5,"body":"believe in Jesus. What that means is gonna be defined in"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":346.5,"endTime":348.04,"body":"many different ways, but you can."},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":348.68,"endTime":353.819,"body":"And number two, not all Christianity, or not every"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":353.819,"endTime":355.759,"body":"Christian maybe is a better way to say it,"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":356.279,"endTime":361.22,"body":"hates Jews. He wrote a tract in 1517, I"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":540.871,"endTime":544.951,"body":"believe, that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, and that was,"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":544.951,"endTime":548.412,"body":"a very good piece of evangelistic literature trying"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":548.412,"endTime":552.392,"body":"to appeal to Jewish people. But then right before he died, 1547,"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":552.392,"endTime":554.052,"body":"'48, somewhere around there,"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":554.631,"endTime":558.27,"body":"Luther wrote something called The Jews and Their Lies. And, in"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":558.27,"endTime":562.072,"body":"the course of his table talks and so on, he called for the"},{"speaker":"Mitch Glaser","startTime":562.072,"endTime":564.912,"body":"burning of synagogues, the burning of Jewish books.
