"My Bonnie lies over the ocean" begins our session with the talented, traveled and tireless Executive Director of the Bainbridge Island Arts & Humanities Counsel, Inez Maubane Jones. From her filial history  behind the name, to her current claim to local fame, she is an eloquent speaker, a published author, a TV personality, an editor with a masters in journalism from Temple and a delight to engage with on topics spanning the gamut of all things artistic and culturally relevant. Those of us calling Bainbridge Island home are extremely fortunate to have her working behind the scenes to keep the torch of local artistry burning brightly. 

Our dialogue starts in South Africa, visits Hong Kong, Alaska, Philadelphia and a host of exotic ports-of-call before touching down on Point White Drive.

It is a fascinating visit filled with intrigue and adventure all wrapped in the colorful world of the arts and their vital connection to our soul and spirit.
