SUN MARCH 16 @ 6:30 - WAKING NED DEVINE. Sponsored by CELTIC CROSSROADS NW of BI. A timeless Irish classic will also feature an acoustic Irish Folk musical act as opener for the festivities. Celtic Crossroads will have merch and raffle a special prize.
SECRET LIVES OF PETS. Mar 22 @ 11:30. Another Mindy Anderson presentation, this one is an animal lover’s fave and sponsored by, natch, PAWS of BI. It’s a free screening so bring your support dog and enjoy the show.
KINTSUKUROI - One night only! THU MARCH 27 @ 6:30. Filmmaker Kerwin Berk will present his work telling a story we are all familiar with here in the Northwest. Executive Order # 9066 changed the lives of 120,000 Americans of Japanese ancestry who were, illegally many experts say, rounded up and sent to detention centers. Writer and Director Berk will intro and host a Q&A after the screening. St Barnabas Church is co-sponsoring the event with proceeds going to help building a visitors center at the Exclusion Memorial.* World renown Jazz Trombone master, NAOMI MOON will bring her trio to the stage as a benefit performance for the BHS Band and Jazz Club on Friday, Mar 28. This one will sell out quick so get yer tix while they last. Naomi is featured in today’s pre and post bumpers and I will say that if you are a Jazz fan this one should be on your calendar.
The very next night, Mar 29 we’ve put together a pairing by local Filmmaker extradonaire Rachel Noll James' screening of her first feature film INGRESS, co-hosted by ROLLING BAY WINERY, and Mr Alphonse De Klerk. Film and Wine, what a time. Movie, and a complementary glass of wine for $15 per (adult) person.
* THE BARN will host a special presentation on WOODWORKING on April 12 featuring a documentary on GEORGE NAKASHIMA. His Filmmaker nephew John will be in attendance to intro the film and host a Q & A to follow. You might say live edge woodworking is the art of philosophy. 6:30 on April 12. Pin it.
* A screening of SKYMAN with filmmaker DAN MYRICK will open a discussion of UFOs co-hosted by MICHAEL BRIEN. April 6 @ 6:30pm.
* Local legend MINOR MARIORITY and his trio, FRANCIS NASH, will light it up on April 26.
* Colleen Fisher will host RESCUED HEARTS doc on May 10.
Huge HLT thanks and congrats to Merrill Keating for her efforts in the creation and support of BHS STEM & Robotics. She and her team put on a great show at the premiere of RULE BREAKERS Friday afternoon. We all wish Spartronics 4915 the best of luck in their upcoming competitions.
Got an idea???? How about a Town Hall? We’ll host three weekend screenings of WHITE with FEAR, April 18, 19 & 20 (Easter).  TALK!
