COMMENTARY.

THAT WAS WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE. Hearty and huge thanks to all 225 of you who braved the 75 degree weather to partake in our STANDING TOGETHER BI RALLY FOR DEMOCRACY on Saturday. John Kydd, Mike Kelly and Co, put together a dynamite cast of politicians, leaders, musicians and poets that were truly inspiring. A terrific gathering of the tribes both educationally, inspirationaly and spiritually. DON’T YOU GIVE UP. I mashed together a short video of the event and you can see it here once I get it uploaded. 

THE PHOENICIAN SCHEME. There was a time round about 1967 or so, when I wondered how long The Beatles could actually continue their production of absolutely incredible (and therefore popular) string of hit songs and albums. That question was answered a few years later, but after Abbey Road. Today I am asking the same thing about Wes Anderson. I hope the answer will not mean that THE PHOENICIAN SCHEME is his Abbey Road, but it every bit as good, although it looks like Sgt Peppers and feels like The White Album. He’s soooooo heavy. And then there’s Benicio del Toro as Zsa Zsa Korda. One thing I can tell you is you got to be free. 

Cannot wait to see Mike Flannigan’s spin on the Steven King novella, THE LIFE OF CHUCK. The trailer rocks. Starts Friday the 20th.

ON Father’s Day, Sunday June 15, in conjunction will Bobby Roe of Foreboding Studios, we’ll host a FREE screening of THE SAINT, paying homage to the body of cinematic work by the late, great Val Kilmer. LATTER DAY GLORY is Johnny Levi Studios full length documentary about Jonny and his triumphant rebellion against the archaic commandments of the LDS during a cross-country coming out right of LGBTQ passage mission.
