7 Oscars. 35 wins. 76 nominations. If anyone is deserving of a lifetime achievement award for post-production sound design it is our guest today, Gary Rydstrom (RIDE-strom). From the upper-mid burbs of Chicago and Iowa to the USC School of Cinema and TV, around the world with a microphone and eventually to Bainbridge Island, Gary has Industry stories to tell and delivers them with an intensity and passion that makes him the perfect guest for our show. Gary, along with Steve Stolee and I, are the architects behind our latest fund-raising scheme, not to be confused with at the Phoenician Scheme, which is currently playing, that offers seats in our auditorium for sale.
