PRIME MINISTER. The story of New Zealander Jacinda Ardren, Prime Minister from 2016-2023. Here is a single review from one IMDB user that sums it very nicely. Very few global leaders would allow themselves to seen so raw and affected over such a long period. And then reflect back on their past so candidly. Hats off to the filmmakers spent years alongside in both the public and private arena. Irrespective of 'left and right' politics, and 'taking sides' this is an insight into what it really means to have the weight of a nation on your shoulders through an unscripted pandemic, the worse terrorist attack a nation has faced, a volcanic eruption, a pregnancy and raising an infant to child, all the while being scrutinized to levels no male politician would ever face.
F1 - THE MOVIE. Seven Days. That’s all I could talk them into. One week. You will instantly see what I did in the attempt to maximize the result of our terse negotiations. By adding three shows to our opening weekend we’ll try to build some early enthusiasm and popular support for this classic summer blockbuster. Go and take the kids to Jurassic World, Superman or The Smurfs at The Pavilion, but see F1 here! From FilmSpeak.net sums it up graciously: F1: The Movie is a spectacularly entertaining summer blockbuster that yearns to be seen on the biggest screen possible. What it may lack in the storytelling department, it more than makes up for in its nearly endless entertainment value, stellar performances, and masterful direction. Audiences craving electrifying big screen entertainment should look no further than this sports film. So, yeah, I added three shows. Friday @ 1, Sat & Sun @ 10. Both Sat & Sun I will have coffee and croissants from Pane d’Amore for warmups.
