HLT#159- ALI MEINERS

My guest today, Alexandra, Ali, Meiners (MY-ners), was on stage Monday night to Intro and discuss the film that brought her into our sphere of consciousness. The film, MOUNTAINS OF THE MOON, enjoyed a short but successful run, with Ali’s many talents supporting it as Line Producer. She eloquently details all the hoops a LP must jump through in order to bring a production, especially one as demanding as MOTM, in on-time and hopefully somewhere close to on-budget.

We chatted for almost an hour (as the HLT HVAC hummed along in the background at 60Hz) covering such diverse concepts as Heli Skiing in Alaska to growing up in Columbia, MO. She and her partner live on The Island where she enjoys pickleball (natch) and our plethora of forest trails in addition to her professional work in the Industry.
