ONCE AGAIN…Should you be wondering what happened to the VICTIMS of LOVE concert originally scheduled for Sat March 28, we had to postpone. We are looking for reschedule dates, but the band is already booked thru the summer, making even a one nighter difficult, if not impossible. Please stand by, bear with us and maybe practice your deep breathing. As we are. All refunds have been processed. SIRAT. The literal translation from the Arabic is, “The path or bridge separating Paradise from Hell.” We are told in the opening title card that the bridge is thin as a hair and sharp as a sword. French filmmaker Oliver Luxe wastes no time in establishing the characters in his story as ‘seekers of meaning’ as they rave their way under the influence of a spectacular desert backdrop to the relentless sonic heartbeat of the cosmic DJ spinning mysterious spiritual enlightenment for the faithful. One of the most grippingly catastrophic scenes in cinematic history warns us that life is precious. Or not. You will not leave a screening of this film the same person you were prior to virtually walking the Sirat. This film exemplifies and reinforces the idiom that good cinema works best as a shared experience. It is also a film school master class in tension building. 

TOW. A homeless SEATTLE woman is living in her car. She gets a 21K parking bill from the City. We take it from there. Stephanie Laing Directs the dra-com written by Jonathan Keasey and Brent Boivin. Stars Rose Byrne with cameos by Demi Lovato and Corbin Bernsten. SPOILER: While it is a taken from the true SEATTLE story, it was shot somewhere in bf New Jersey. Kinda disappointing but still worth a watch.
