TOW. A homeless SEATTLE woman is living in her car. She gets a 21K parking bill from the City. Now carless, she opts to fight the system, despite the long odds stacked against her. Anything further is a spoiler.  Stephanie Laing directs (what sure feels like a TV pilot) written by Jonathan Keasey and Brent Boivin. Stars Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominated (IF I HAD LEGS…) Rose Byrne with cameos by Demi Lovato and (the vilianous) Corbin Bernsen. SPOILER: While it is a taken from the true SEATTLE story, it was shot somewhere in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.

A GREAT AWAKENING. The Historical Fiction of the events leading up to the American Revolution. Reverend George Whitefield and his pal, BEN FRANKLIN, play 4D Chess in the hopes of finding a palatable elixir of two parts politics and one part religion, to sell to an increasingly thirsty for truth colony of American pilgrims. It will be interesting to watch, knowing that we know now, how they spin the pitch, as we look back on 250 years of mixed results.

THE A.I. DOCUMENTARY. This looks a lot more ‘relevant’ than AGA, as those who have seen the trailer will surely attest. That being said, I challenge the producers, writers and directors to tell me in plain English exactly what, where, when how and why we are being scared to death by those two vowels. Because I have asked around and have a few questions. BIG questions.
