Our guest today Valerie Veatch, a 2003 graduate of Bainbridge Island High School, is a filmmaker, director, writer, editor and producer. Her directorial debut was at the 2012 Sundance film festival with "ME @ THE ZOO" (HBO), with her highly acclaimed follow-up feature documentary, LOVE CHILD chronicling the first court case of Internet Addiction in Korea. Her latest work, GHOST IN THE MACHINE, will make its debut on Monday night, August 17 at 7pm, at THE HISTORIC LYNWOOD THEATRE, where she will introduce her work and host a subsequent post screening audience talk back. Last minute tickets for the event are available here. Also, of note, Valerie's Dad, Kevin, has been on our stage as a member of the DANNY & THE FIGATONES BAND, and also runs a recording studio over on Day Rd.
