The VO Median is a podcast created by Xavier Torres, a former five diamond butler, turned digital marketing enthusiast and now aspiring bilingual voice talent.
Xavier’s motivation is driven in great part not only to help, educate and inspire others looking for a career change into the business, craft and industry of voiceover, but also as means to keep himself accountable by showing up and telling his side of the story from his perspective at the median part of his life.
Initially a solo project, Xavier hopes to expand the show into regular interview episodes where both English and Spanish voice artists and voiceover entrepreneurs are all welcome to share their own experiences for the benefit of beginner and veteran voice artists alike.

When we finally made it to the other side of the pandemic, one of the biggest diruptors many of us had to assimilate was remote work.
And whether our assimilation was uneventful, maybe even welcome, or challenging and at times confusing, the fact remains that working from home has been one of the greatest disruptors of our times.
And for voice artists, it was no different.
