Today on the podcast I’m joined by Rachel Tidy, an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who works in mental health inpatient and day program settings with a strong focus on women’s health.

Rachel brings a mind–body connection and HAES, weight-neutral framework into her practice, supporting women to build safe, positive, and empowering relationships with movement. She works with clients navigating disordered eating recovery, compulsive exercise behaviours, trauma histories, and invisible illnesses such as chronic pain, fibromyalgia, EDS, and POTS.

This conversation shines a light on the less-visible but incredibly important role of EPs in women’s mental health care and the value of meeting clients where they are to foster safety, choice, and empowerment.
