Church History With Pastor Steve

After years of teaching Church History at Fruitland Baptist Bible College along with over 45 years in the ministry, Steve Scoggins walks us through 20 centuries of Church History. This series is unique because it was done in a local church setting. It is presented in a way meant to be understandable to the average Christian. Its goal is to help today’s Christians understand how we got where we are in the church world. Steve Scoggins is the pastor of Hendersonville First Baptist in North Carolina and a previous president of the North Carolina Baptist State Convention.

Pastor Steve Scoggins

Pastor Steve Scoggins has been a pastor for more than 40 years at churches in Oklahoma, Georgia, Alabama, and North Carolina. Steve and his wife, Karen, have five grown children, and eleven grandchildren. He has a BA from Samford University, and an MDIV from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Steve's focus for his life and the church is to lift up Jesus and love people.
