She was appointed Canon of the Diocese of Los Angeles in recognition of her life-long commitment to faith-based justice work with the Latin@ community. Although her life transitioned in January 2023, her story, legacy and commitment to faith-based justice continues to inspire all communities of spirituality, solidarity and struggle today. ¡Presente!
