Nothing can trigger you quite like these children you are raising. They are always watching, storing information in their minds, and reflecting back the very things you don't like in yourself. 

And then you throw in the fact that these tiny humans have wants, needs, and agendas that often differ from yours. It's the perfect storm to losing your cool.

Their behavior triggers you. Their attitudes trigger you. Their messes trigger you. Their speed triggers you.

Here's the thing, Mama...it's not your kiddo's responsibility to not trigger you. It's your responsibility to identify your triggers, heal your wounds, and uncover the belief systems that are creating the thoughts that have you triggered in the first place.
