Medschool2.0
Welcome to the "medschool2.0" podcast, where we share stories of resilience, determination, and the power of never giving up. I’m your host, Jyoti Bhattarai, a physician who took a bold leap and returned to medical school after a few years in the field. Going through medical school once was a challenge, but doing it a second time is a whole different journey filled with its own sparkles and lessons.
This podcast is not just about medicine—it's about the struggles, triumphs, and experiences we all face on the path to our dreams. Every episode, I’ll bring you inspiring stories from medical students, professionals, and people who’ve taken the road less traveled, all fighting for their goals and overcoming obstacles along the way.
We’ll dive deep into their struggles, their victories, and how they continue to move forward with courage, hope, and positivity. My goal is to uplift and inspire anyone feeling uncertain or stuck, and hopefully spread a little happiness and a lot of motivation to keep going.
So, whether you’re in the same boat or know someone who is, this podcast is for you. Let’s embark on this journey together and help each other rise to glory! Tune in each month for stories that will keep you going.

Talking about Boards, Residency, Mentoring and more...
This episode is unique on its own. We produced this episode in the midst of board preparation and now since the boards are done this episode is going live. Another interesting fact about this episode is we did not edit a single part from it. It is as recorded as it was.
We had an absolute brain awakening talk with Dr. Daniel Veyg, DO, PGY-1 who is currently in integrated IR/DR residency at Northwell Health- LIJ/NSUH. He talked to us like a true mentor and like a friend. We learn new things every day and Dr. Veyg just proved that to us because we learned a lot from him through this recording. I hope people take notes during this episode. We thank him for taking out time to talk to us even with his busy schedule and intern timings. We are really grateful to him and we must have done some good deeds in the past that we are getting people like Dr Veyg to come to talk to us. I hope our listeners enjoy this episode as we did. Till we see you in the next episode. Take care of everyone and take care of your family/friends and surroundings.
