TisTalk – What’s on w/c 18 March 2024
On Tuesday evening, the TPC ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE MEETING is taking place in the Parish Reading Room, at 6pm.
And the Fonthill Park Cricket Club will again be in the Nadder Centre for WINTER NET PRACTICE from 7:30 to 9pm.
On Wednesday, there is a TISBUS OUTING to the American Museum in Bath. Tickets are £15:50 for a single entrance fee plus the £15 bus fare. Departure is at 10am. For more information visit the TISBUS website.
Also on Wednesday, in the morning, the TISBURY MEMORY GROUP is in the Hinton Hall from 10am-12 noon. Tom Evans will be joining this session to show how simple meditation can help people cope with the stresses of modern life.
And TIS-TOTS are in the Methodist Church from 10am-11:30am.
In the afternoon, there is a LENT LUNCH in the Methodist Church from 12-1:30pm. All are welcome to enjoy delicious home-made soup and bread and cheese.
On Thursday, there is Afternoon Tea in the Victoria Hall from 2:30-4:15pm. To book a place call Marion on 01747 870813.
In the evening, TISBURY CARNIVAL is holding its AGM in the Victoria Hall at 7:30pm. All are welcome to hear more about the plans for 2024.
On Friday, there is FAMILY FRIDAY in the Methodist Church from 3:30-5pm
And in the evening, there is a meeting and presentation on the EAST WINDOW PROGRESS in the Victoria Hall at 7pm.
On Saturday morning, TISBURY FOOTPATH CLUB’S 6.5mile circular walk kicks-off at 9am. Text Richard Deverill to book a place on 07748 702314.
In the evening, NT Live: THE MOTIVE AND THE CUE is showing in the Victoria Hall at 7 for 7:30pm. This Evening Standard award-winning best new play stars Mark Gatiss as John Gielgud and Johnny Flynn as Richard Burton. Tickets are £15 and £8 for under 18s.
On Sunday, there is a PALM SUNDAYPROCESSION, with a Donkey, from St John’s Church to the Methodist Church. This starts at 10am.
