Words From The Word Of God

150,000 Souls: Will You Be Ready When Your Time Comes?

Evangelist Jeff Thomas Season 31 Episode 4

Send us a text

Eternity hangs in the balance with every passing heartbeat. In this powerful message, Evangelist Jeff Thomas delivers what he calls "The Gospel's Final Call" – a spiritual alarm clock meant to awaken us from complacency about our eternal destiny.

Moving beyond theological correctness into the realm of spiritual urgency, Thomas confronts listeners with life's most consequential question: where will you spend eternity? With over 150,000 souls departing this world every 24 hours, this isn't merely philosophical pondering but an immediate reality demanding our attention. Drawing from Scripture, Thomas boldly proclaims the reality of both heaven and hell, dispelling modern notions that hell is merely metaphorical. Jesus himself described it as eternal fire where "the worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."

The evangelist connects current global turmoil – Middle East conflicts, nuclear threats, and widespread civil unrest – to biblical prophecies, suggesting these aren't just headlines but prophetic fulfillments indicating time is short. Against this backdrop, salvation through Jesus Christ becomes not just important but urgent. There are no second chances after death, no appeals to a higher court than God's judgment. Your eternal address is determined by one momentous choice: accepting or rejecting Christ's offer of salvation.

Whether you've never known Christ or you're a believer who has drifted from fellowship, this message extends a compassionate yet urgent invitation. The Gospel's final call echoes through uncertain times, offering hope amid chaos and eternal security amid global instability. Will you answer before the trumpet sounds? Your soul's eternal destiny hangs in the balance.

John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
If you haven't received Jesus Christ by Faith, as your personal Lord and Savior; I strongly encourage you to do so before it is eternally too late!!!

Speaker 1:

Hello and welcome to this another edition of Words from the Word of God. Thank you all so much for joining us today. Friends, I want to welcome you, dear listeners, this is Evangelist Jeff Thomas, and I greet you today with a burden, a burden upon my heart, not just for your day but for your destiny. Since January the 25th, we've journeyed through the gospel of Matthew, verse by verse and line upon line. But today the Holy Spirit has stirred a new urgency in my heart and in this ministry not away from the truth of God's word, not at all but a deeper focus into his word of the ultimate truth. Today's message isn't just exposition, it's a spiritual alarm clock. It's the gospel's final call. It's the gospel's final call.

Speaker 1:

The question I'm not saying this is the last message. No, this is just the beginning of a new direction and we're going in that direction. But it's the gospel's final call, and we will explain what I mean by that here in a few moments. The question is no longer theological. It's not about being theologically correct, it's not about being a scholar. It's an eternal question life, death, which is guaranteed, and not only that, but the question of what your choice, heaven or hell. Do you understand that every 24 hours, over 150,000 souls leave this world. That's more than just a statistic. That's eternity in motion and the question that echoes louder than the headlines of the news today. The question is where will you spend eternity, where will you spend eternity?

Speaker 1:

But speaking on the new direction for scriptural foundation, I want to reference you to Isaiah, chapter 43, verses 18 and 19, where the Lord says remember ye, not the former things. No-transcript and dear friend, god is doing a new thing in this ministry and in my heart, just as the Apostle Paul in the book of Acts, chapter 16, verses 6 through 10, where we read that he was redirected by the Holy Ghost and forbidden to preach in Asia. We too are being sent in a new direction and we must be obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit. This is the call, not to comfort but to conviction, not to be in just a spiritual scriptural study, which is a blessing, but for spiritual conviction. Today, you know, paul would tell Timothy in 2 Timothy, chapter 4, preach the word be instant, in season and out of season. And this, my listener friends, is that season, the stakes are eternal, heaven is real and hell is hot, and eternity does not wait for anyone's convenience.

Speaker 1:

Hebrews, chapter 3,. Excuse me, chapter 2, verse 3 tells us and cries out how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? And that is the question that still should burn hot in the hearts of every lost sinner today, those that are lost and undone. How shall you escape if you neglect so great a salvation, the free gift of God's grace? Jesus himself tells us and warns in Luke, chapter 12,.

Speaker 1:

Gospel of Luke, chapter 12, verse 9, fear him which, after he hath killed, hath power to cast into hell. Speaking of God, the Father, the holy and righteous God, whom he was sent by to save this world, his only son, sent in love to a lost and undone, an ungrateful, unworthy world of lost sinners, that they might have the chance to have eternal life and have an opportunity to spend eternity with him in heaven. But understand this hell, he says, cast into hell. Hell is not a metaphor, the Savior makes it very clear. It is fire and it is not a myth, it is not the figment of someone's imagination. But also, on the other hand, scripture tells us that heaven is not a myth, it is glory and salvation is not delay, it is now.

Speaker 1:

The word of God tells us and declares in Hebrews, chapter 9, verse 27,. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this, the judgment. Folks, we don't have time. There's one death, there's one judgment. No second chances, no rewrites, no appeals. Once you're dead and undone in your sin and go out into eternity without Christ, you are down for hell and the eternal lake of fire, one day where it burns with fire and brimstone and the fire is not quenched. Jesus also refers to it as outer darkness. Fire is not quenched. Jesus also refers to it as outer darkness, a place where the worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched. He is compared to a hot oven. But understand, the flames of hell are eternal, they're for good. Eternity is not far away and that's what you need to understand, sinner friend. It is a breath away.

Speaker 1:

Salvation is not optional, it is urgent. You have the option to neglect God's free gift of his grace and the free gift of salvation that comes only in Jesus Christ, our Lord. You have that option, but understand what you're settling for. Understand, if you neglect that salvation, where you will spend eternity. There is no doubt about it. Jesus says again fear him. Speaking of the Lord, god, the righteous heavenly father, elohim, the creator of all things, jesus, the agent by whom all things were created, who was sent out of love for you, sinner friend, not for just my sins or the sins of someone else, but for the sins of the whole world. He was the propitiation for the place that, where God's wrath was satisfied one day, at a place called Calvary, understand there is a time coming, and if you neglect so great a salvation and you choose the option to neglect it one day, you will spend eternity there in hell and the lake of fire.

Speaker 1:

Like I said, one death, one judgment, no second chances, no rewrites, no rewrites, no appeals. You can't appeal it. It's too late, it's too late. Once you get there, we must raise an eyebrow. The Middle East is trembling. Rockets fired nations roaring, prophecies shaking the soil. Iran has crossed the nuclear threshold. Civil unrest explodes across the continents, across the globe. These aren't just current events, they are not just headlines. No, if you read and study the word of God, you understand there are ancient prophecies and warnings coming to pass. They echo of Ezekiel 38 and 39, if you will read those chapters. And while the news may ignore eternity, the death clock does not wait. Two souls die every second. That's one breath and then the judgment.

Speaker 1:

My beloved, you will not stand before CNN or the Supreme Court. You will not stand before an earthly judge or a human judge, and you will not stand before your personal feelings. They will not matter. You will stand before a holy and righteous God and give an account. Your sins can be judged in Christ on the cross, or you can be judged for your sins to answer for those sins.

Speaker 1:

If you neglect so great a salvation, god will not ask for your resume. He will ask for your Redeemer and if you have Jesus Christ as your Redeemer, the blood pays it all, washes it all away. Your sin debt has been wiped clean and you are set free from bondage of sin, death, hell and the grave. You are given eternal life. Jesus said the thief cometh not to kill, steal and destroy, but I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly. Let me ask you this and tell you this if you're listening and you've never called on Jesus, this is your moment. Today is the day of salvation. Now is the day. The time is now.

Speaker 1:

Don't neglect so great a salvation. Pray with me. You say. Well, it can't be this simple. Let me tell you something If you will say and mean it from your heart and repent of your sin. You have to repent, you have to turn, be willing to turn loose of the sin that you're in, turn loose of the world that you're a part of, turn away from those people that you think are your friends, that will turn their backs on you when the chips are down. Let me tell you something Jesus Christ will never leave you nor forsake you. You got to pray this with me, though. Repent, say. I believe Lord Jesus, I believe you are God's eternal son, I believe you died for me. I believe you rose again. I repent of my sin and I choose you, lord, to save me, redeem me, lead me. I choose heaven. If you have truly prayed that prayer from your heart today, repenting of your sin, turning from the sin, turning from the world, and truly received Jesus Christ in your heart, you are saved.

Speaker 1:

It says no one who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be cast away. They shall not be rejected, but whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. That's not what Jeff Thomas is saying. That's what the powerful word and living word of God says. He says anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord, anyone whosoever, doesn't matter who you are, doesn't matter where you're at, doesn't matter how far in the gutter you are, doesn't matter if your friends and your family have cast you aside because of drug or alcohol addiction, it doesn't matter, he will not turn his back on you.

Speaker 1:

It says whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. And that's you today, sinner friend. And if you're already saved, but weary, you're tired and you're drifting away from the Lord, be the prodigal and come back. Let the Father run and wrap his arms around you and put a new robe upon you and clean you up. Clean you all from those sins that you've been wallowing in, eating the husk of the cogs in this world. Let him put the ring back upon your finger of an heir.

Speaker 1:

Never lost your salvation, but you're away from him. Your relationship has been tainted, it's been broken because of your sins. The lord is not his. His ear is open and his arm is not so short that it cannot say but your sins have separated between you and your God. Your sins have destroyed your relationship with him. You haven't lost your salvation, but you're away from him.

Speaker 1:

If you're there today, it's the time to speak. It's the time to pray and come back and repent. He said the apostle John would tell us, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. But if you are a born again believer and you're right with the Lord, it's time to speak out. It's time to share the gospel, live the gospel, burn with the gospel, pray that the Lord would reignite that fire inside your heart for lost souls, and let's get busy and preach the gospel.

Speaker 1:

This ministry will follow, always follow the Holy Ghost, not routine. We will preach Jesus crucified, resurrected and returning. We will preach repentance. We will preach with righteousness and we will preach with redemption and by the will of the Lord and by his grace and by his power. We will not stop until the final trumpet sounds. We will not stop until the final trumpet sounds, because time is short, eternity is long. The gospel is the final call right now. This has been Evangelist Jeff Thomas. I will see you in our next episode if the trumpet tarries. But should it sound, I pray and the prayer of my heart is that we will meet in the clouds and be with the Lord forevermore. Thank you again for joining us today, god bless. I look forward to the next time we can share words from the word of God, god bless.
