Alright, here we are. So the chapter 15 of Revelations. Last week was mind-blowing. I just love the hour of his judgment has come. That to me was so mind-blowing that Jesus took the judgment of the whole world upon himself and assumed it into the cross. So anyway, to me, just so you know, it looks like to me this is almost almost like a picture of like uh you know deliverance from Egypt, you know, and the walk through the Red Sea. So that's kind of what I've been looking at and seeing here. So, as you know, there's a lot of commentary. It's all beautiful, but time I just went through some of it. I know sometimes in the small groups, people bring up other parts of the commentary, and you have time to read it on your own. It's all brilliant, by the way. So, verse 1, chapter 15. Now, I always like to I like these words. Words are important, aren't they? It says the next symbolic picture I saw in heaven was again, this is a fantastic spectacle. Anybody like fantastic spectacles? I do. I mean, you know, you know something good's coming was a fantastic spectacle. He says, I saw seven celestial messengers, okay, people with a message, celestial, and this says the seven represents representing the completeness and the finality of the passion of God, which other translations would say the wrath of God. But remember, wrath is orge, right? His passionate desire, the passion of God, and I love this, concluding every detail of the final seven symbolic plagues, the final seven symbolic plagues. And I would think seven, anytime seven is usually complete, right? Like there's seven days. Anyway, seven symbolic plagues. And then the commentary says, reminding of some of the same plagues which convinced Pharaoh to free Israel from slavery, which again prophetically points to the judgment Jesus suffered. Surely he has borne our sicknesses, he has carried our pain, yet we esteemed him plagued, smitten by God, and afflicted. And this is the joy set, you know, is it uh Hebrews 12, 2? The joy set before me endured the cross, ignoring and despising all the shame, right? So again, this is the revelation of Jesus Christ. So we're looking for the revelation of Jesus Christ, which is obvious, right? It's, I mean, to me, this is not the apocalypse of the end of the world. I mean, the end time, I always like to say this the end, the last day is from the death, resurrection, and ascension on. One John, it's I think it's one John 2 says, we know it's the last day, because many antichrists have gone up from our number. The first anti Antichrist were the Pharisees. And actually, some of the some antichrists were actually Jewish believers in Jesus that went, and that's what Paul was fighting against, went to all these uh churches like Corinth and Galatia to start uh Judaizing the message, start bringing everybody back under the law of circumcision and you know, obeying the Sabbath and everything else, which is Antichrist, by the way. It's a brand new covenant. All right. Now, this is an interesting verse here. It says, Then I saw something that looked like an ocean on fire. Isn't that interesting? An ocean on fire. This is symbolism. I always like to say these are kind of pictures so we can understand something that's invisible, right? In a picture. This is an invisible spiritual concept, an ocean on fire. Now, to me, the ocean is people, and on fire, it says the fire of God, right? And it's the love of God, which is resisted by some and accepted by others. And you know, we got into the judgment last week a little bit, but in over in John the third chapter, roughly the 19th verse, 20th verse says, now this is the judgment. The light has come into the world, and people love the darkness rather than the light. In other words, they shrunk from the light, which is interesting because who shrunk from the light? It was the religious people. It wasn't the so-called sinners. They flocked to the light, but it was the religious people that were repelled by the light, the Pharisees and the religious scribes and Pharisees. Okay. So then I saw a look that looked like an ocean on fire. Now, listen, its liquids became solid. Now, I live in North Dakota, so that's easy to visualize because we have ice. But anyway, but this isn't ice. Liquids became solid, a solid surface like transparent glass molded in its heat. In other words, the fire took the water and made it something solid. Why? So standing tall in triumph on top of the glassy sea, with their God harps were the redeemed ones. In other words, he made the sea to me is the world, the people, and the fire of God comes down in Christ. Christ comes down, and now he makes a way where there is no way. Does that make sense? Just like down here it says it's a reminder of the prophetic picture of Israel walking as it were on dry land through the oceans of water when God let them out from Pharaoh. But now he's on top of the water. The fire actually makes the water hard for people to walk on. For who to walk on? The redeemed ones, the ones that are purchased. Ones who emerge victoriously out of the grasp and claim of the false Trinity system of religious indoctrination. Which is what? The tree of the knowledge of good and evil. It's the same issue. I mean, it's amazing. You know, like I know I've heard uh Bruce Watchup say, you know, whether you believe in the Adam and Eve story, whether it's actual symbolism or if it's fact, he says it doesn't matter because the story is important. Because that's where it starts. There's a tree, and it's not an apple. And when we try to perform by the tree and become righteous by our works, we always come short. And then what happens? The voice comes and says, You're not good enough. Just like Jesus, remember Jesus' uh temptation? The temptation is the first, is it if you're the son of God, that's the temptation in the same temptation you get. Are you are you an image bearer? If you're the son of God, you would do this. If you're the son of God, you wouldn't do this. If you're the it's the same thing we have, and I I always like to say, well, if you were if you're really a Christian, you wouldn't have walked by that homeless guy without give him five bucks. Ever had that voice? And you walk by? Or if you were a good Christian, you wouldn't have done that. You would have done this, right? Because we're always getting these things. In other words, to prove ourselves, but we don't have to prove ourselves because Jesus Christ came who defines us as image bearers, right? I'm gonna pause here for a second because I got on the wrong view. Anyway, I I usually have speaker view when I talk. And I it's Christmas time, but I'm not Rudolph. Anyway, but I got a red spot in my nose. So anyway, my wife is shaking her head. So anyway, he so in other words, he takes something that has no substance and gives it substance for the redeemed to walk away from what? Religion. And what I mean by that, trying to self-perform to be righteous. Self-righteousness is doing things on your own to be God pleasers. Say, God is pleased with me. Because I'm his son and daughter, just like you're pleased with your children. And I guarantee you they don't always do the things that you want them to do. But you're still pleased, right? You still love them, they're still inheritors, they're still your offspring, they're your image bearers. Your kids look like you. Well, guess who we look like? We look like our father. All right, and the beast, its image, its character, which is what it acts like. And you can go to Galatians, the fifth chapter for that. I think it's verse 17. Even a little law remains, it's a catalyst for disaster. And it talks about all the desires, like in the seventh chapter of Romans, what happens? Also, we have desires to be idolaters, adulters, killers. We get all these desires because it's a sin principle that in us. Remember, the sin is ha martyr, not knowing who I really am, or defining myself by my outward circumstances instead of defining myself by what Jesus Christ says. I'm an image bearer, I'm a temple, I'm a holy one, I'm a saint. I'm in the offspring, I'm a son of man, son of God, so are you. Anyway, I was just thinking about, you know, because I I was reading about the, you know, the he calls them the wounds or the plagues, and in the next chapter talks about the plagues, even in the mirror. It does. And I was just thinking about the scripture in Romans, the second chapter. It says, the quest of mankind, this is verse 7. Oh no, no, that's not what I looked. Verse 5, a calloused heart that resists change accumulates cause of self-destruction. Well, God's righteous judgment is revealed in broad daylight. In other words, God hang on the cross. It is finished. It's faith, it's faith righteousness, right? Over in Isaiah 51, where he says, for you know, he's talking to the Jews, for you who want to know righteous, look to Abraham, your father, and Sarah who gave birth to you. When he was one and sterile or uh his wife was uh couldn't have babies, he made him many, right? It's look to say Abraham and Sarah who gave birth to you. And he says, This the righteousness of God, the righteous judgment, and he's and what's his righteous judgment? He took on the judgment of the world, and he's judged you righteous. Romans 3 23, all of sin falls short of the glory of the Lord. Verse 24, the good news. Actually, I I work at a Catholic hospital and I read that scripture yesterday. I told the pharmacist, I said, Oh, oh, here's the bad news. 24, here's the good news. And this is all, all have been made righteous as a free gift by Jesus Christ. Of course, and our translators, why would we want to just say, oh, we just say all have made all were uh false sin, fall have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and the many were made righteous. No, no, all the were all were made righteous, they just don't know it. And it says, but and they resist change by resisting him. You're on your own, your own deeds will judge you, reject him his goodness, keeps you snared, keeps you snared in a lifestyle ruled by sin consciousness and condemnation. That's what they're coming out of. That's what the beast system is. That's what the false prophet, the the the fake lamb or the right, the false prophet. It's it's that system. It's a system and it's uh prevalent today. Okay. A little bit more on the commentary. The preposition X denotes origin here, clearly pointing to the fact that these have escaped, the redeemed ones, have escaped the tyranny of slavery to the corrupt religious system of false identity. In other words, if you do this, then your God loves you. If you do this, God curses you. And he doesn't love you. And of course, what do we do? We always miss it, don't we? It's like having ever, you know, everybody says you need to like uh have goals. I've tried to do goals all the time. I I just never I've quitted. But you know, and your goals are always more lofty, and you never achieve them. You may it may make you get higher than you were before, but it's self-effort versus God effort versus being led by the Spirit of God, which is what the sons of God do, sons and daughters of God do. This is the transaction of the ages. The transaction. Like I buy something, you give me some something. I give you money, you give me something. The transaction of the ages, where the lamb that was slain enters the marketplace where slaves are sold. Us, and he redeems mankind, purchases back out of the hands of the claim of the accusation, purchases back out of the hands of the claim of accusation, of condemnation, of you aren't enough. If you did this, you'd be you'd be loved. If you do you do this, you're not loved, and you're not perfect, and you're not good enough. The false prophet, the dragon, the beast of religion. Mankind is redeemed from idolatry of the centuries, of the devotion to an image of their own making, which is not believing the truth about themselves. Reflecting a lost identity, the transaction ideas to persuade our minds of our redeemed value. Jesus didn't buy us back from the devil, thief never becomes an owner. And remember that 2 Corinthians 3.18 with unveiled. Think about that. Talks about the veil in the temple and it ripped. Wow, with unveiled face, as I behold Christ is in a mirror, the glory of the Lord. It's you and me is the glory of the Lord. Or what transfigured, which is the opposite word of sin, into his very own image. From the glory of the old, which is the foreshadowing of Christ, to the glory of the new, the substance. And this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. It's the Spirit of God transforming you as you just keep meditating and looking face to face to Jesus and who he is, because he defines you. Alright, so what are they? They're gonna sing a song now. I like everybody like to sing. These are the redeemed ones. They're coming out of this ocean that's on fire. There's a lot of people that are not coming out of it because their hearts are hard, and that's probably what you know all these kind of pseudo plagues are about. You know, most of us don't change unless we have a little heat under our cans. When things are not going right, people start to listen. I'm talking about people that don't believe or whatever else. You know what I mean? Even me, sometimes I need a little heat even now today. Get me to listen. This is the song of the redeemed echo, excuse me, this song of the redeemed. This is a song of the redeemed, and what it echoes the song of Moses. In other words, deliverance by the mighty hand of God. God's servant and the song of the lamb. We heard that before. They sang a new song in heaven. Why? Because the slain one, the the little, meek little lamb that was violently butchered, but yet he lives, and he's he has the uh he has the authority to take the scroll, right? And they sang a new song. But the redeemed, that's us, have a song that sounds similar to the song of Moses' delivers, and the song of the lamb. The things you know, this is part of the song. I could sing it, but I'm not going to. The things you do, this is not Jesus. Now, this is remember, this is the revelation of Jesus Christ. Here we go. The things you do are spectacular and amazing. Jesus does spectacular and amazing things. Lord God Almighty, righteousness and truth are your trademarks. Remember, the law came through Moses, grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. You are the king of the ages and of the nations. Whether they like it or not, he's the king of kings and the lord of lords. And then in the just the first line of the commentary, I said, in the prophetic drama of the first Paschal, the Pass, you know, the Passover, celebrating freedom from slavery. Moses was, they sang a psalm because of freedom from slavery. And what is that in uh that's the com or that's the uh down here a little bit in the commentary says the cross, this is the cross of humiliation becomes the greatest elevation. That's in the commentary. The cross of humiliation becomes and is still is the greatest elevation. Then the triumph triumphant song of Moses is recorded in Exodus 15, 1 and 2. I will sing to the Lord. No, the song of the redeemed is similar to the song of Moses, similar to the song of the Lamb. I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously. Who is triumphant? He didn't say, uh, we triumphed. I triumphed. He said, He triumphed gloriously. The horses and its riders he has thrown into the sea. In other words, anything coming against them, he has taken down. The Lord is my strength. Who's his strength? The Lord. Is he his strength? No. And I will praise him. God is my father. Woo! And I will exalt him. Say, God is my father. He's my Abba. I look like him. That's what makes you godly, by the way, because he's your father. If he's God, then you gotta be godly, don't you? Sounds a reason, doesn't it? Who compares with you? O Lord, among the gods, little gods. Who is like you? Majestic in holiness. Jesus is majestic in holiness, awe-inspiring and glorious, these working wonders. Egypt only served here as a prophetic pitcher. They are not the enemy. The enemy is whatever mindset enslaves one to an inferior life, to the life of their design instead of the life of their design. What enslaves are dumb thinking? That's why he says, renew your mind. Renew your mind. Continually renew your mind. You know, I was thinking, I'm gonna do a rabbit trail just really quick. I was thinking, you know, some people, you know, after a while they just don't want to read the Bible anymore, and you know, which is fine. But I was thinking, you know, I've never read the Bible for a bunch of knowledge. I've always yeah, I just I'm a weird duck. I I just have always re I've always read the Bible as a relationship. When I go to the scripture, I go to hear God. And you know what? And I I don't know how I learned this, but I learned it right away. I just know when I would read the Bible, and it can be boring as I'll get it, but all of a sudden a scripture would just come to life. Also, I'm just like off the page, and another one. And I'm so anal that I always had to finish the chapter and then come back. But I'd mark it off, and then I'd sit and meditate on those because that's what that was God talking to me. That's what I was always after. God speaking to me. So when you go to the scripture, that's that's probably that's one way God communicates with you. I know he communicates in visions and all kinds of other things, but probably the primary where he place he communicates is in his scriptures. Remember, I won't say the word because Jesus Christ is the word, and the word is in the Bible and his teaching is in the Bible, but he wants to show you who you are, he wants to speak to you. This is about a relationship, ultimately. I mean, there's a lot of really smart people that have not one person to the Lord or have any fruit that's worth bearing. I met some of them. And I mean, being a little bit critical, the way the church is set up with all our, you know, there's nothing wrong with theologians because we need them, but it sure isn't working very well. You know, and when Jesus chose people, he chose people that were fishermen that didn't even couldn't even read. He had one theologian of the bunch. His name is Paul, and he called it all dog food comparing to Christ and him crucified. So look who he chose. And who trained him? He did. Personally, and he still trains people personally. There's nothing wrong with going to Bible school and all that. I'm not, but God uses it all. But remember it's all about relationship in the end. It's all and he's given you his own mind. Yes. Alright, that's gonna wait. That was a heck of a rob rabbit trail. I had to give a little preaching on my own once in a while, you know, so this stuff here. Okay, four, who will not be awestruck by you? I mean, who will not be awestruck by you? There's a lot of people that don't think much of Jesus on the world. But he says here, when you know them, who will not be awestruck by you, oh Lord, as they what? Recognize their identity in your glorious name, the name of Jesus rescued, salvation. Who will not be awestruck in you, Lord, as you recognize their identity in your glorious name? I want to say this. I am awestruck by you, Lord, and maybe more awestruck as I continue to recognize my true identity in your glorious name, who you really are. Awestruck. Whoa. It's got a little Holy Spirit heat on it. All your works confirms the truth of who you are. I was telling somebody today, and you've heard me say this a million times, but you know, when G when Jesus uh you know went into the temple and John the second chapter, and he threw out the money changers, it was a symbolic picture of you, you're the temple, and he went in to throw everything in you, violently angry, not at you, not at the temple. It says, zeal for thy house, you're his house. He went into you to throw out everything you could do to get forgiveness of sins, get your gut, you know, get favor from God and all that nonsense. And then, of course, but I just love this, it says, and then what you what prove that you can do this in three days I will tear this temple down. Second Corinthians 5, you're a new creation, right? Because you're in Christ, you're a new creation right now. Everybody is, they just don't know it. And then they said it took us 46 years to build this temple, and there's 46 chromosomes in the human body, which is a mind-blowing, it's 23 pairs. Me and John didn't know that. I mean, God is so he says, Here, what all your works confirms the truth of who you are, confirms the truth of who you are. You have no competition. I love that. Don't you love that? God has no competition, and he's on your side, and he's living in you. He's living in you. The whole Godhead, Colossians 2, uh 9 and 10 says, you know, you have the fullness of Christ. The whole Godhead dwells in you in body, bodily form, and in in Christ and in you. The whole Godhead is dwelling in you. You can't, you know, people always go, I can't wait to get to heaven and see Jesus. Man, you can't get closer to Jesus than you than you are right now. You are full and flooded with a Godhead. Jesus being outside of you would be farther away. All your works confirms the truth of who you are. I love this. You have no competition. Therefore, all There's that word again. All the nations will arrive at the same conclusion. They'll figure it out in the end. And they will worship you since your righteousness has been openly shown. His name is Jesus. He's the righteousness of God. Therefore, all the nations will arrive at the same conclusion. They'll figure it out in their mind. Whoa. And they will worship you since your righteousness has been openly shown. Confess with your mouth, believe in your heart that Jesus was raised from the dead, and you're saved and made righteous. Every niche will bow and tongue confess to Jesus Christ as Lord. All nations will worship him. I don't think the people that there's a whole lot of people out there don't think they're going to worship him. Or he's going to force them to worship him, which he won't, because above that says, whoa, be awestruck. Who will not be awestruck by you, O Lord, as they recognize their identity in your glorious name? When you go, Oh my God. You will what? Worship you since your righteousness has been openly shown. Pause, say not, and calmly think about it. That's good stuff. Alright. Over three quarters. And I was it still stretched it out for a while. And uh and coinciding with this, I saw the inner shrine of the skin tabernacle of testimony with the veil wide open, the heavenly dimension. Now, I'm not quite sure about this, but because this is where the seven celestial messengers come out with the wounds or the end plagues, whatever. But think about it. You're the temple. Oh, and when Jesus died, the veil was torn. And we think, oh, then Jesus God came out and we could go in. No, the veil was torn so I could see myself for who I really am. Taken down. Oh my god, I'm face to face with the Father, Son, Spirit. How did that happen? Didn't happen because I tore it down, because in the death, resurrection, and ascension, he ripped it apart. Alright, the prophetic skin tabernacle, the tent of meaning is the tent of meaning, which is, you know, I'm sure you guys know that. There's a temple before that they carried around the tent of meeting in the wilderness, right? With the with the Ark of the Covenant, and it was surrounded with mammal skin because it was symbolism of you and me. God always dwelt in people. That's why in Colossians 2, is it 27, 26, and 20, or 1, 26, 27, the mystery that's hidden from ages and generations now revealed to the Gentiles? What is it? Christ in us. Oh my god, how'd he get there? He was there already. 6. And the seven celestial messengers, the seven always is complete, representing the seven wombs, or other versions say plagues, proceeded out of the inner shrine, arrayed in spotless clean linen. This sounds like describing Jesus at the beginning of Revelations, or even like some other places, arrayed in spotless clean linen, shining with the radiant brightness of precious stone, and with golden girdles wrapped with the around their chest. Transfiguration. These are radiating. And one of the four living creatures gave each of the celestial messengers a typical temple golden fire pan. And I did the commentary down here. A golden fire pan was for the purpose of carrying fire in order to burn incense on the Day of Atonement once a year in the ultimate place of worship. A broad shallow saucer of gold, a pure gold, filled with the coals from the bronze altar where the lamb was sacrificed. Was sacrificed. This is the passion of God. These golden fire pans were loaded with the entire meaning of the sacrifice. You catch that? This is the passion of God. Where the lamb was sacrificed. These golden fire pans were loaded with the entire meaning of the sacrifice. Isaiah, some people like to say. Plagues, right? He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities. The chastisement needful to obtain peace and well-being for us was upon him, and with his stripes, the wound, that wound, we are all healed and made whole. Say I'm healed and made whole because that's what he believes. He believes I'm righteous, therefore I believe it. He believes my sins are forgiven, past, present, future, that I'm sinless. I know I make mistakes, but he says that who am I going to argue with? He also says that he believes I'm healed. And I might not be right now, but if I wasn't, he says I am and I'm not. I either choose to believe him or believe me. That doesn't mean you shouldn't go to a doctor, by the way. Not going there. So anyway. So he says, we're loaded with the entire meaning. He says the golden fire pads were loaded with the entire meaning of the sacrifice. What's the meaning of the sacrifice? That he bore the judgment of all humans. And last chapter, I just was so blown away when he says, he said, the hour of his judgment has come. And we, of course, because of what we've been taught, we think he's sitting up judging. No, he's taking on the judgment. It's his judgment. The crucifixion is the judgment of all mankind taken on in Jesus Christ. He is the one being judged. That is so mind-blowing. Alright, a little bit more in the commentary. It says the word fielis, crusas, refers to the golden fire pan, specifically designed to receive the sweet-smelling frankincense, which was lighted with coals from the Brahma's altar, where the sacrifice has just been presented in the outer court and then offered on the golden altar before the veil. And then this is interesting about the soul here. Today is hovuos, according to Chad GPT, Hovuos, is translated as the soul or something along the lines of the breath of life. The Greeks believed that the soul was a smoke or a breath that floated within their body. We have images given by ancient philosophers who describe the soul dispensing as a smoke would. By the time the classic Greeks, the word sacrifice was was uh the Greek, so went to sacrifice too. The ancient Greek mind smoke represents the soul of the sacrifice. In other words, a smoke going up is a soul going up. Alright, last verse. The atmosphere of the inner shrine was saturated with the glorious presence of the power of God. Remember the it's interesting because it says the uh seven uh uh messengers came out of there, but now in there it says the atmosphere of the inner shrine was saturated. Saturated. You know what you know if you get a if you use a towel after your shower, it's wet, but if you pour water on it for a while, you get one of those big thick towels, it's saturated with the glorious presence of God's power. The inner and you know what? You're the you're just think about this, you're the inner sanctuary, it's in you. You're saturated with the glorious presence of God's power. The doxa, which is God's opinion, and the dutymus, the power of God, manifested in fire, were carried in the golden fire pans from the altar, and in it filled the temple with its smoke, which represents spirit, right? Soul, and no one was able to enter the inner shrine until the seven wounds of the seven messengers were complete. I don't think I really need a commentary after that. So next chapter gets into like some of the bulls being poured out, and I'm sure that I'll hopefully come up with some. The end.
