SPEAKER_05This is the podcast that we got uh, you know, we got a we got a topic for you today, but we also we're gonna do a movie review, the polygamous. This is the polygamous movie review that we're gonna we're gonna go over we're gonna go over a few facts, a few opinions of the polygamist. They wanted Shay wanted to do this. She felt that it was necessary that we went over this. This is trendy. This is a hot topic that everybody's been talking about here lately, talking about the polygamist. So, what we're gonna do is we're gonna set that off before before we do that. I got successful women here before me. I'm a fortunate man. Am I the polygamist?
SPEAKER_03Are you? Are you one male host? Run me my bread, family.
SPEAKER_00Am I the podcast polygamist? All right, I got male women up there.
SPEAKER_05Are we talking about me? Yeah, are we talking about me today? The podcast polygamist.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we're talking about you.
SPEAKER_05All right, well, we'll watch this. I got numbers of successful women, my women better than that in that movie, the polygamist. My women is better than them. That's for sure, Trump and them. No disrespect
Promoting The Blueprint Event Space
SPEAKER_05to the movie. What I want to do is I want everybody to highlight what I want everybody to do is I want everybody to highlight their their business. I looked at Shay and Nina's event space, her her networking hub, the blueprint, and she got wonderful footage and and she got wonderful uh literature for her for her space. I mean, it's really looking good. I've I've seen spaces before. Yeah, well, yeah, you know, we got support. Very nice. It's very nice, it's very nice, and she's and she's very nice. So tell tell the people about we're gonna go right around around. Let's tell them about your your your networking hub, your event space.

Keep stay tuned, and um, I'll let y'all know what I'm doing next.
SPEAKER_05Yes, yes, I love that. So, Tanisha, yeah. I want to talk now. We got she's not she's a special guest, we got a special guest today. Now, this has been a long time coming, a long time coming. This has been a long, the long time coming.
SPEAKER_04She said the longest.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, she got she got a mouth on it, y'all. She got a mouth on it, y'all. Just bear with me. Right here, yeah, it's been a long time coming, but I had to bring no one, no one other but the one and only Tanisha T.
SPEAKER_04You better know it.
SPEAKER_05I brought her on Tanisha T. Tanisha T has a nail tech sorority. Okay, this is this is this is a unique, this is a unique and a and a very, very distinct and astute uh venture that she's taking on. She's taking a lot of responsibility, she's putting blood, sweat, and tears into this. She's not present at the shot as she would normally be because this is taking her away, but she's moving up and she's moving on, and I have to be a man and I have to accept the fact that my T is is is blossoming into this businesswoman, this this sorority
Nail Tech Sorority And Industry Respect
SPEAKER_05owner, this founder. T. Tell them about the sorority.
SPEAKER_04So I have a licensed manicure sorority. It's called Lambda UIOTA, and Lambda UIOTA stands for Licensed Manicures Incorporated. I founded this sorority last year on November 19th. The reason why I founded is because Neotechs don't have an outlet. We're always connected to cosmetologists. No shades of cosmetologists, but Neotech needs their own entity. You know, the agents came in and kind of took over. And so I did a lot of reviews with people just in the streets, you know, like at the dollar stores and things like that. And I asked, you know, who do your nails? And they say, Oh, well, I'll go to the agents. Well, if you don't mind me asking, why do you go to the agents? And the first thing they say is, black nail tapes are unprofessional, they're time wasters. If they have an hour lunch, they can just shoot to the Chinese shop and get their nails and feet done real quick and go back to work versus waiting all day or paying for a deposit, or they're you got their money, now they're canceling. So I'm trying to bring our industry back as a whole and create a sisterhood and not so much of that mean girl industry in the beauty world. Okay, 20 years from the year. For real? Yes, you need to get down with it.
SPEAKER_02She said, Joy Liz.
SPEAKER_04And so on November 19th of this year will be our Founders Day. I have three members and they will be crossing over on our Founders Day, and it will be in Southfield on Nine Mile and Greenfield at Hidden Gyms. So just stay tuned for more information.
SPEAKER_05Look at Tanisha T. Shay, Shay Wheels.
SPEAKER_02What's up?
SPEAKER_05Birthday coming up, the birthday girl.
SPEAKER_02Yes, yes.
SPEAKER_05Shea Wheels got a plethora of things going on. So I would never overstep and speak for her. Shay, just inform the people of a few things that you what you want to tell them right now.
SPEAKER_02Well, I will say that you can follow me on Starless Start on ShayWheels.com. That is www.s-h-a-y-w-i-l-l-z. SPEAKER_05I love that about you. Delana's the wonderful Delana. I told y'all, like I told y'all before, I speak for Delana. Delana spoke vote.
SPEAKER_03You know what? He gets on my nerve. I speak for the Delana with nobody ever.
SPEAKER_02Oh, come on now. What a brain. Oh, you speak what? I know you're gonna fit right in. I like it. Oh, we finna feel like look at the shit.
SPEAKER_04And it's bear is bear. It's cold. You can't speak for the lady. It's cold.
SPEAKER_05Warm that up. Wrap it up, baby. Wrap that up. I'm gonna come in with my hospitality program. I'll just put you off. The business I got going on. I got I got quite a few. We got the hospitality program, union, meeting beautiful unison. That is set up. I also got the loft downtown, the private loft that we just acquired. We just acquired the private loft, you know, it's invite only. What we want to do, I already said something out to a few people that elevators and all that is is fly. We just acquired this recently, and now we're opening it up to the the people who are on invitation only. So all this is just like an insider type message for all of my people members only that it will be members only, and you will be receiving the information and the fee. There is a fee. You will be receiving the information and the fee to come to the private law. It's gonna be wonderful. I want to let y'all know about Thursday Night Society, uh the Rafflex stage from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. We're still in the building with that. We we have great things going on, but this is what I want to say to y'all.
The Polygamist Plot And First Reactions
SPEAKER_05They they said a few podcasts ago that they wanted to review the polygamist. Yes, show on Netflix series. They got something to say about it. They wanted me to watch it. It was hard for me to watch it with their mouth moving like they mouth, but it's moving like a like a but I went ahead on in there and got the gist of it, and I I actually watched it. And we want to they call it compare and despair. We want to do a review and we want to give opinions about the polygamist hybrid show. We're gonna start with that, and then we're gonna end with our topic. Everybody has spoken, said what they had to say to start the show off. Let it become sharper. Nina, you always the one who sit here right in front of me. You know, we've been doing this for some time now. So why don't you so why don't you go ahead on Shay should introduce Shay? You want us to introduce it? Shea's idea. Shea's idea.
SPEAKER_01It was Shay's idea.
SPEAKER_05Shay, the polygamist, set it off.
SPEAKER_03Okay, just tell us what it's about. We'll tell us what we're talking about.
SPEAKER_01Yes. Well, how about just give us a gist of what it's about and then your opinion? Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_02Well, it's about it's it's about polygamy. If you don't know what polygamy is, it's being married to more than one woman. So there's this man that's he wants he wants many women, like a lot of men do. So but it's it's a good thing to watch because I feel like it's gonna deter people who probably want to think they can handle that or think they want that, but it's it's it's not even really about polygamy, though. But it's about the polygamy, a polygamist, but it's not about polygamy, right? Yeah, so I don't if you haven't watched it too bad, spoiler alert, you're late, you should have been watched it. But it's probably gonna talk about it. But actually, it's really basically just uh he learned his lesson. I could say I feel like it's about don't try to have more than one one.
SPEAKER_03No, he ain't learned his lesson. He ain't learned. No, he didn't say what do you mean death is learning. No, he did, he died before he learned his lesson.
SPEAKER_06What do you mean, lesson?
SPEAKER_02What do you mean lesson? Because you can't have you can't have everything you see. You're gonna be led to your demise. You gotta learn how to be a disciplined man. Let's start there.
SPEAKER_01You know, can I just say and I only watched one episode, two, one and a half episodes.
SPEAKER_03It was 22 episodes. I know.
SPEAKER_01The thing I got from the first episode, he didn't initially become a polygamist. His the the first wife allowed it because she didn't want to divorce him, she didn't want to lose him. He became a polygamy, but he had been left the marital home for over a year, yes, he was living with another woman.
SPEAKER_05Yes, he was, and then she came back mad.
SPEAKER_02Joyce wouldn't let him go 20-year anniversary, and she felt like, oh, all this we built, I'm not gonna be able to do that. Her image she didn't want to paint her and her kids and she didn't know.
SPEAKER_05But he ended up being the polygamist. From what I gathered, I didn't see the I mean, you know, my whole views on polygamy, the polygamist.
SPEAKER_04Did we all pack our lips? Yeah, I think we did.
SPEAKER_03So my my view on it was that he was a dog, it wasn't just that he had three wives, yeah, he dogged them out as well. Yeah, so it wasn't like he just was, you know, he had his three wives and he was, you know, treating them well and all of that stuff. He still cheated on them and treated them horribly. Uh I blame uh the women, yeah, because I think everybody is responsible for their for what they accept. And Joyce accepted she brought that into the marriage. Yeah, they accepted that, so they got what they uh what he he he dished out, right? Period.
SPEAKER_05So this is what I want to say to that point. She should have chosen herself. Once I saw so quote unquote dogged them out, dogged them out, dogged them out. He was really a cheater and then just use polygamy. Quote unquote dog them out. If he if if if this what you if this how you label him dogging them out, but they but they accepting it. Is he really dogging them out?
SPEAKER_03He did dog them out, but they accepted so that was that was on them. She said that was on them. She said that was on them. Right. You you accepted, then that's what you don't.
SPEAKER_05I don't think he could have kept them without dogging them out. I'm just talking about some I'm from a standpoint of I'm just saying, I don't want to say what I'm saying, but I'm gonna say it's so like uh I guess I I I guess it was the African way.
Cheating, Consent, And Self Worth
SPEAKER_05How else can you talk to a hard-headed woman from Africa? You gotta dog her out a little bit.
SPEAKER_02You gotta dog her out. This ain't the first time I heard a man say this. This is what's crazy. I'm like, that's how y'all really feel. He was like, Yeah, they don't respect you until your dog.
SPEAKER_05Listen, if I got four, if I got five wives, if I got five wives, and I all got her from an urban setting, and I come in the house and I say, Hey honey pie, honey baby, hey sweetie, how you doing today? Y'all gonna look at me like if you bumped your head or something, are you sick?
SPEAKER_04So you feel like a woman don't respond unless you talk it to her reckless, and more and and more, that's that's and when she talks back reckless, so when she talked back reckless, then what?
SPEAKER_05Not but then she being too masculine, but not but not but not naver. See, you get what you dish, but not no, you don't, and that goes to our topic. No, you don't, you don't yes you do.
SPEAKER_02Watch what you dish out.
SPEAKER_03Listen, if I have a nice calm man, you get a nice calm name. Listen, you got a you got a rowdy man, you get a rowdy name.
SPEAKER_04It's just a man sets the tone in the house.
SPEAKER_05A man, a man does not set the tone in the house. No, a man does not set the tone of the house. A man is the head, and she's the neck. You are the neck, the neck set, the neck turn the head, which way that it won't be.
SPEAKER_03You want her to be like, oh, well, okay, honey, you just having a yeah, they just want they just want somebody to to obey. That's what y'all want.
SPEAKER_04Is it obey or is it is it really obey or being submissive? They want you to obey, it's not really because they don't understand.
SPEAKER_02That's not what submissive really is. That's the difference. First of all, let's let's let's let's cover your lady. You have to start this is all bait.
SPEAKER_05This is all based. So, what we're gonna do is this is this is this is conversation based off the polygamist series on Netflix. Tune in and check it out if you haven't seen it. They mouse be moving different, though. I'm just putting that out there. I figured it out. Yeah, you figured it out.
SPEAKER_01It's like and there's some of the English didn't make it. I'm like, you wouldn't say that for real in English.
SPEAKER_05I did worse for less, so I figured it out. Yeah, really talking anymore. We don't want, we don't want a woman, we don't want, and I'm gonna speak for men, real ones, real players, real men. We don't want a woman who is obedient to obey, yes, and we don't know we don't, and we don't want a woman. Well, I'm severely outnumbered here, so I think whatever y'all gonna say, I guess that's what it's gonna be. We don't want a woman to that's submissive, and we don't want a woman to obey. We want we but we don't want to be with the dude bros. See, so many times we end up being with the dude bros, we get with the woman, and then you end up being the dude bros. We don't want to do bro mean please explain you. You are not feminine anymore. Okay, I'm gonna give you an example.
SPEAKER_03You want me to whine?
SPEAKER_05No, no, we all good. You be a damsel in distress.
SPEAKER_04Let's do that.
SPEAKER_05Yes, ma'am. Come on, Tanisha T. You do just like we do it. We're gonna do what we do.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so you say men don't want a woman to obey, but you have a lot of men say, Oh, well, she don't respect me.
SPEAKER_05So, I mean because that's disrespect, but you're giving up disrespect. Who disrespected you? Ain't nobody disrespected you. The disrespect came in, the disrespect came in when you challenged me as a man, and you've and that's and that's a problem. We keep coming to the same same stumbling block. We can go 20 podcasts from now, we'll still be at this same juncture, the same stumbling block over masculinity in our women.
SPEAKER_02Sometimes you gotta agree to disagree. You're not, you don't want anybody to think just like you.
SPEAKER_05No, I don't want you to think just like me, but what I do want you to do is I want you to understand. No, you want me to agree with them. I don't want you to agree with me. You ain't gotta agree with me because guess what? Guess what? Understand this.
SPEAKER_03If I challenge you, then it's a problem.
SPEAKER_05You can always challenge me, but you can challenge me intellectually. You're challenging me masculinity, like, yeah, yeah, I'm just as a man as you. No, you're not. No, I'm like fighting you, like I'm about to you ain't about to fight me.
SPEAKER_03Like that's what you don't do. But if I said that's what you're not gonna do.
SPEAKER_02What part became masculine? That's what I'm trying to understand.
SPEAKER_01What part of the disagreement or what part of the challenging is what makes it masculine? What does she do? Give us a scenario. I need to see that.
SPEAKER_05What you feel is masculine, it got masculine when you stopped drinking out of straw. When you start hit when you start hitting vodkas, tequilas and wines straight off the neck, like like like you out there on the block, like uh, like we on the block.
SPEAKER_04She did like that.
SPEAKER_05You gotta like that like that. You do it back in the sea, so y'all, oh, so y'all is gonna bury y'all something. So that means I've been a cheater. I've been like that, so accept that. That's right. So if I gotta accept how you been, then accept how I've been. But if I've been a liar and a cheater, but as soon as I start lying and cheating and come home with my drawers on inside out, and you hear, oh yeah, you didn't leave a house like that. Oh, yeah, I did.
SPEAKER_03Well, if they knew you was a liar and cheater, then yeah, accept that. Because you know what? I think people, I think women make their life miserable when you know you got somebody that's not right, and then you study looking for stuff and you study trying to find what's wrong, what you're doing, how you're doing it, gonna stay like either, and you still you're gonna stay. You you're not even gonna do anything. Let that man try to do it. So just let him do whatever if you if you ain't gonna do anything. You're not gonna do anything, you might as well be quiet because of this.
SPEAKER_02Enjoy your life.
SPEAKER_03Don't tell your friends, don't be looking for stuff. You know what he's doing.
SPEAKER_05What you looking at you ain't gonna do
Masculinity, Femininity, And Dress Debates
SPEAKER_05nothing. I'm gonna give y'all an example of what we're talking about.
SPEAKER_01I will never forget.
SPEAKER_05Don't tell me, and this ain't talking about nobody, Delana. You know, you you real tough. I ain't gonna get and I ain't talking about nobody in particular, but I'm gonna give an example. You know, we all love the Detroit Lions, correct? That's our home team.
SPEAKER_03I'm Shy Sam, baby. I don't know about all that.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, okay. Well you love the you love the the Bears. So at the end of the day, they at the end of the day, when we go to Chi Town to a game when the Lions play the Bears, and we got a three-day weekend. You're gonna step out, and the game day gonna be Sunday. We're gonna get down there about Friday late. We're gonna go to a party. You come out to that party, you got on lions gear, you got on bear, you got t-shirts with lions on them, and you got on in Chicago and you got a jersey on. Okay. Now, night two, we didn't shower, slept, pop out. You got on Air Force Ones and a jersey again or t-shirt now. We going to the game.
SPEAKER_03You want me to wear a dress?
SPEAKER_05The game Sunday. Okay, where we going?
SPEAKER_03But where we going Saturday?
SPEAKER_05We go we we're not we definitely not going nowhere with you with that box t-shirt on. You're not going nowhere.
SPEAKER_03I don't wear a box t-shirt, but I'm gonna be comfortable depending on where we're going, and that's masculinity.
SPEAKER_05I didn't ask you to be comfortable, I asked you to be beautiful.
SPEAKER_02What's it gotta do with the hitting?
SPEAKER_05I don't got you, I don't got you for comfort. See, I don't got you for durability. So basically we want to control everything. No, so so I want to be with a woman that's beautiful, I don't want you comfortable. I can't be comfortable. That's why you got these women running around here with these bonnets on their head. I'm a roast job.
SPEAKER_01No, that's not that's not comfortable, that's different.
SPEAKER_05That's I know nobody does it until you until it's until you see it done.
SPEAKER_01I can be cute but comfortable at the same time.
SPEAKER_05I didn't say cute, I didn't say cute. I'm with a woman that I'm paying bills for.
SPEAKER_04So you want her to be in heels, or you want her to have on one of them um cover up.
SPEAKER_05When do you put your heels on?
SPEAKER_02In the bedroom with your man sometimes. Maybe she don't want to be outside all day again. Heels hurt heels, you corn like that.
SPEAKER_03Uh heels hurt. No, bills hurt. Well, that's why I'm that's why I pay my own bills. Exactly. No man say what hurt me, period.
SPEAKER_02And see, they feel like they want to be needed in some kind of way. They can't get you financially, then they feel like dang, how can I get her?
SPEAKER_05I don't want to be needed.
SPEAKER_03Finance is all y'all got. That's it. That's all y'all got.
SPEAKER_02No, they got my sex too, because women be gone from well, that's true.
SPEAKER_03That's true. The sex too. The sex tool.
SPEAKER_04That's one of the other what y'all working with. Money is gone.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04That's it.
SPEAKER_00No other benefits.
SPEAKER_05Y'all done sat up here and roasted the y'all that sat up here and roasted the roasted the man.
SPEAKER_02I love my kings though. Oh my goodness. I'm just saying other things.
SPEAKER_04It's not like we're a man hanging club or nothing like that. We ain't no black man. We ain't no she woman woman. No.
SPEAKER_03This is just the reality of the situation. That's all. It's real.
SPEAKER_01If you're gonna have me walking around, say we in another say we in another city like Houston take, you know, Detroit, Houston take over. I'm walking around, I'm supposed to have on some six-inch heels.
SPEAKER_05Baby, didn't nobody say that. We're not gonna have you walk down the streets of Houston in the six-inch heels. You're gonna have your Air Max on. But when but when we go, I can walk in the wedge.
SPEAKER_02But let's just say this one thing I hate the narrative in today's society, they try to put the men and the women against each other because that's not what love is about. We are definitely against each other. Definitely need each other, not hate that reality that's out there, but it's also another side to it. There's beautiful love, it's beautiful black love out here. So at the end of the day, it's not you know, you just gotta find somebody who matches your your vibe, your speed, your energy, and you pray about that. And when y'all yin and yang, that's what it is. If you don't match and y'all ain't matching, better.
SPEAKER_05I understand, I get it. We we have fallen into the stereotypes and the lies of speak your truth. As men, I'm just gonna speak for the men. As men, when we speak our truth, the truth ain't respected. We met with a rebuttal on that. So I'm asking, I'm asking a blanket statement, blanket question. What do we do? What are we to do? We come at y'all with lies, y'all tell us that we lies, dogs, cheaters, and lies. What are y'all?
SPEAKER_03Be real about that.
SPEAKER_05When we come real, you said, well, hey, I wasn't in the mood to do it today. I gotta, I'm gonna do what I do.
SPEAKER_04Well, what's real? What is real to you?
SPEAKER_05Real is telling me I don't want to walk down this to the event with that box t-shirt on. It's really a problem for me. You got on Detroit Lions jerseys and Detroit Lions gear. I don't want you to be comfortable, I want you to be beautiful.
SPEAKER_04Correct. So when y'all in the hotel getting dressed and you say, baby, don't, I want you to wear such a shortcut.
SPEAKER_05I got to do what you say.
SPEAKER_04I got to do what you say.
SPEAKER_05It ain't a woman, it ain't a woman, it ain't a man out here that don't do what his woman says. No, honestly, I want to I want to ask you that.
SPEAKER_02But friends, how do how do you feel as a man if a woman if a woman don't like what you have on? Because you might think you might think you're sweet. So she might be like, baby, y'all don't like that. I look corny.
SPEAKER_05Y'all really, yeah, we had we needed to have this talk. I'm glad that we're talking on this podcast because y'all needed to hear this. Y'all compliments sway us from one way to the next. A woman says, Oh, you smell good today, I'm going right back to get that same cologne. A woman say, I don't like that cologne you got on, we'll never wear it again. We don't wear it because we like it. We wear it because you complimented it.
SPEAKER_04But that's nothing you would do. All men ain't gonna be.
SPEAKER_05Once you lock them legs,
Money, Providing, And Relationship Pressure
SPEAKER_05a lot of decisions get changed. Because everybody ain't the polygamist. Some people all they got is you.
SPEAKER_02Before we end off the polygamist, you wanna know how to demise any? I gotta say this. He died from HIV. Yeah, I heard, yeah. So that that part, but you know But guess how he got it? His first wife, his first wife uh paid somebody that had it to give it to him to get revenge on him.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, but you gotta remember this though. You gotta remember. She knew he knew he was gonna do it. But you gotta remember this. When you're dealing with when you're dealing when you're dealing with multiple women, you're dealing with multiple emotions. Facts.
SPEAKER_04Fact. Yeah, and you're dealing with multiple diseases. Exactly.
SPEAKER_03That's that's my thing.
SPEAKER_05You're dealing with multiple emotions, control, self-control. Yeah, you you're dealing with multiple emotions. So some emotions run so high. Now I'm gonna now I'm gonna jump. I'm gonna jump to acrimony. You saw Taraji P. Henson in the movie. She she rolled, she stayed down with this dude, but then her fuse ran short. And right after she was tired of him is when he got on. That's a decision that you made that you didn't ride to the end. You rolled.
SPEAKER_04Well, she'd been riding for the room.
SPEAKER_03She didn't run.
SPEAKER_05No, you ride to the end.
SPEAKER_03We don't know when the end is coming. Well, let me tell you.
SPEAKER_02Let me say this. I feel like in her situation, she let her family dictate her decision. Now, because she really wanted to stay with that man. She should have done what she wanted to do because she wasn't ready to leave him. But that's her drive or something.
SPEAKER_05But that's that's what y'all love. Y'all love to have somebody in y'all ear.
SPEAKER_01Everybody knows that. Ain't nobody gonna admit it because I understood that she was with him from day one, and she he still was gonna provide for her financially, but she felt it wasn't enough.
SPEAKER_02She didn't even want the money, it was about it wasn't even about the money, it wasn't even about the money anymore. She could have gone on with her math, she just couldn't fathom somebody looking like that. She said that she thought for the they could have had. She couldn't have a kid and like that.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, she should, yeah. But you roll, you have to ride to the end.
SPEAKER_01Well, why she should have listened to her, she should have listened to herself and not her family. That's how long you gotta ride. She should have listened to her heart, that's not her family, and they would have been together.
SPEAKER_05That's how long you gotta ride for.
SPEAKER_01You gotta ride to the long with that crap, she went to the end.
SPEAKER_05Y'all ride till y'all feel that okay, I've rolled long enough. See, that's not the end.
SPEAKER_02Why do you want to dog your woman enough? You can see how much you can't train my show.
SPEAKER_04When you're talking about something you really start loving her, she don't want to be a little bit more than a lot of you that's let me tell y'all about relationships.
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna tell y'all something about relationships. When you in a relationship, there's nobody's soul that gets drained more than the man.
SPEAKER_00Man, that's so sexual.
SPEAKER_05Let me tell you how that nobody's soul gets drained more than the man. Because at the end of the day, if you don't got no money, you still beautiful. If I don't got no money, I'm a bum.
SPEAKER_03Everything which all go back to money. That's all y'all got. It's like that's all y'all got.
SPEAKER_05Everything, everything with a man is money. That's unfortunately, everything with a man is money. You cannot sit down at any date. You can't go on.
SPEAKER_02I won't say that because there is no such thing. No, you can that you can be with someone of potential, or not even not potential, you can be with somebody who you know is in a hard time and money doesn't define them, but you you can see the king in somebody and you can still support him, but that's still potential without the potential that you're seeing is the potential to make money.
SPEAKER_05That's the potential everybody gotta make money.
SPEAKER_02I mean, no, in order to live.
SPEAKER_05Everybody don't have to make money.
SPEAKER_03You gotta take care of yourself.
SPEAKER_05The man has to make money. This is magic. This is a money. I listen has to make money.
SPEAKER_03I mean, honestly, I'm not gonna make it like maybe about 60% of men are not making money. They're y'all trying to get one.
SPEAKER_05Y'all going y'all going into real life? Y'all going into a round and around with this. What I'm saying is if we in the house and I don't have no money, I can't feel a man.
SPEAKER_01You may not feel like a man, but that's what they got to do. And that is how men feel. See, it's it's how men feel. Y'all think we view it that way.
SPEAKER_05I ain't talking about how you view it.
SPEAKER_01I'm talking about what I'm not talking about your views.
SPEAKER_05I'm talking about when I'm in a house and I don't have no money, she said, Oh, that's the way you view it. What? I'm telling you how I feel.
SPEAKER_04So let me ask, let me just ask you this.
SPEAKER_05But we suffer in silence. If y'all feel like not in a man that went out there and shot somebody or hurt somebody because he talked to you and you're like, that's ain't no.
SPEAKER_04So if y'all feel like that, then why do y'all continuously get into relationships if you know you can't provide?
SPEAKER_05But because I don't want to be alone.
unknownT.
SPEAKER_05You get what you get.
SPEAKER_01Then you get into relationships.
Being Single, “Pizza Men,” And Standards
SPEAKER_01You get what you get.
SPEAKER_04And then you start feeling worse, and then you wanna blame me. You can't buy her a piece of bubble gum.
SPEAKER_05The race is racist, her lights is out. The lights is out on me. I'm in the dark, I'm in the dark over here, T. I need a little love. And I would rather take that love in my pork and this.
SPEAKER_02Sometimes you gotta sometimes you be okay by yourself. Okay, so my oh, you gotta be by yourself.
SPEAKER_03Everybody needs to be by their mother.
SPEAKER_05Why y'all run around here with these pizza men? I've been saying that for years.
SPEAKER_03I don't know who the yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, why y'all run around here with these pizza men? A pizza man is a man when you look at the man and say, Boy, I wish you do better.
SPEAKER_02And y'all mad because you didn't know this is what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_00We're gonna talk about it, I sure wish you would do better.
SPEAKER_01Well, and I there are situations where that is true, it is very true.
SPEAKER_04That's called a pizza man, but no, that's called a pizza, it could be a potential, it might just be down.
SPEAKER_05You got a man just to say you got a man. No, no, no, no, no, no. You can say you got a man. What women I got up here today? What women I got here today? Where are the women at? So let me tell you what I got here.
SPEAKER_02Y'all talking about y'all don't get no man, just to say we got one. Do you think a woman is do you think a woman is lonely if she's by herself, or do you think that means that she's by herself because it was by choice, or because she can't get a man? She's alone. Which one is that?
SPEAKER_05By choice, but a lot of the times you stink so bad that don't know man wanna be with you. That's crazy because are you serious right now?
SPEAKER_02That's a man thing.
SPEAKER_05I don't know bycasts I can't. I don't know where I'm at. I'm lost right now.
SPEAKER_03You just okay. I'm I'm gonna put I'm gonna be vulnerable right now. Cause I've been a single baby for like 10 years. I see why. Wow. You see why? I see why tell me why you want to know why you by yourself? Because I choose to be. No, I don't want to be I don't want to be drained by a men that has nothing to order. That's not why you by yourself.
SPEAKER_05Yes, it is. In order for a man to be with you, listen. Tell me, tell me about him. Yeah, let's go, let's get on. Let's go. The pillar is to set it on. What was his name? Jonathan, what's his name? Jonas, Jonathan. Jonas, Jonas. Jonas. Jonas, here we go. You are by yourself because at the end of the day, you know that you can, you have created a systematic system where you can get it done. And any man that gotta be with you must take tape his hands up, put on 16-ounce gloves, and be able to go at least three rounds. Because I can do it all.
SPEAKER_03Because I can do it all.
SPEAKER_05Who wanna go three rounds like Jack Jack Jack?
SPEAKER_04That's a man's insecurity because he can't handle a strong woman who got herself together. He rather go to Blow Joe that don't got much, and that's gonna let them do it.
SPEAKER_05We ain't talking about no strong woman. You're not strong. Ooh, what do you mean, strong? You only strong compared to somebody that's weak. Mentally listen to me. Listen to me. Listen. Uh uh. We're not talking muscle strong. I ain't talking about physical strength. We're not talking about it.
SPEAKER_04It's just so many weaknesses. That's insecurity. That's a strongity that he don't have nothing. So you don't want to be with somebody who's trying to make you level up. You are in the state.
SPEAKER_02It's stepping on your ear.
SPEAKER_03That's why they're always talking about money. As soon as a woman making more money, you know, like she's masculine. You so very good.
SPEAKER_05Because it's always giving up. Thank you. Please make more money than me. Thank you. No, no, you don't like it. You don't like one woman who like more money than them.
SPEAKER_04You don't like the woman that's more than me that is jealous of a woman that's over here because they're doing better than them and they can't financially or whatever take care of them.
SPEAKER_05You ain't never doing better than a man with nothing.
SPEAKER_04Exactly.
SPEAKER_05How you doing better than the man who knows who he is? You're better than the man who don't know who don't know who you are.
SPEAKER_04So how many men know who they are?
SPEAKER_05Period. Answer that. How many, how many women out here, as as many women, as many men know who they are as as many women who got a man just for the sake of having a man? We can play games all day. Because ain't nobody gonna admit to it.
SPEAKER_03See, what we gotta understand is I really do think it's a lot of women out here. They got a man just to say they got a man. So don't make like y'all brought up.
SPEAKER_01I'm not doing that.
SPEAKER_02But you got a handful who do and half of the full.
SPEAKER_03I would rather be by myself than have distress. Listen, I had this set up for y'all. We didn't want to.
SPEAKER_04The ones ain't got no first ones are that
Protection, Safety, And What Saving Means
SPEAKER_04they talking about.
SPEAKER_03This is something I want you to answer for me because me and always talking about the money and the security. Okay. Okay. When the lat when the first time, have you ever really secured a woman? Like when you ever had to save a woman from some shit?
SPEAKER_00Come on, girl. Let's go.
SPEAKER_05If y'all allow me to answer, I know that y'all are exuberant. I know that y'all are excited about it. Nothing.
SPEAKER_00At the end of the day, when you deal with you can't protect, provide, nothing.
SPEAKER_05At the end of the day, when you're dealing with a real man, a real one. Oh, that's you are you already secured. That is true.
SPEAKER_02Or when you do with the one, I don't know.
SPEAKER_05I done seen women, I done seen women that were so ignorant, didn't know what they had, ran away from their protection. I done seen, I done seen them brow beat their protection. I done seen them shun their protection. I done seen them go from protection to go with a man who had no protection. Y'all didn't read iceberg slim pimp.
SPEAKER_03I want to know about Robert Me and protecting the women from though.
SPEAKER_05You already protected when you were the real man.
SPEAKER_03What are you protecting me from?
SPEAKER_05Any danger you got in the world.
SPEAKER_03No, but it really ain't no danger. Oh, it's a lot of danger out here. It's not, it is. You tell me what you saved a woman from.
SPEAKER_05The first thing that I'm saving you from is yourself. You ain't gotta save me from myself. Oh, yeah. The first one I'm gonna say you from is yourself.
SPEAKER_03Just give me an example. Women want me to example where one child, I really do. If they say a lot, you want to know.
SPEAKER_05I really do. Listen, you can take a horse to the water, but you can't make him drink. Come on, man. You just gonna want me no more. The first one that gets saved is a save you from yourself.
SPEAKER_02What have you saved a woman from? Honestly, in your life, serious. What have you saved and protected somebody from? What do you have protected and saying?
SPEAKER_05That's not a woman that I've been with that need is saved that has not that has not been saved and protected.
SPEAKER_02From what what have you done?
SPEAKER_05Because I allowed because I look if you would let me talk, I gotta save you from yourself. You don't even know when to listen.
SPEAKER_03What she needs listening time because you just talked around and around. You ain't giving no answer. Okay, come on. Let me listen.
SPEAKER_00It's time to listen.
SPEAKER_03Okay, you better come with some asses. Two ears, one mouth. I love my ass.
SPEAKER_05First, I would say you're from yourself. Let me tell you something. Anytime that you anytime that a woman has to use her masculinity, anytime a woman has to be strong, there's a problem there. Anytime that you are proud to be strong, there's a problem there. I'm saving you now. You women sit here and talk about how strong you are compared to who? You're only comparing it to somebody's weak.
SPEAKER_04Well, let me just say that don't make sense.
SPEAKER_05Trust me.
SPEAKER_04Most women are talking about it.
SPEAKER_05Okay, when you talk about you, look because when you talk about you strong, you're talking about us. Why we had to be strong, bro? You had to be strong because you got bamboozled.
SPEAKER_03Oh, because you got bamboozled. Yes.
SPEAKER_05From the beginning. I know I had this.
SPEAKER_01I know I know we've had this conversation before about how the black community in particular. How our our families got divided, and it was all systematic. And this is how we've got it. And over the generations, it has gotten worse and worse as we've as generated. I'm trying to save you once again.
SPEAKER_05That's a cop out. You're talking about anything. Well, first of all, I'm not talking to you. That's a cop out. I know. I'm talking to Delena. I don't. I'm talking to Delena. At the end of the day, you got to realize this. Every time I put a blanket statement out there about women, for example, that have uh a man because and they have a man just to have one. Everybody attacked gonna say that's not me. So while you're talking about these weak men, that's not me. You ain't came across no real one, and you don't run in circles where the real ones is at. Stop stop looking.
SPEAKER_01You ain't came across the right ones either.
SPEAKER_05Oh, I done came across the right ones.
SPEAKER_01Okay, I'm talking about the ones that do the blanket statement like it's all of us.
SPEAKER_05I'm talking about the ones that say no, they ain't gonna hold up to that one. Are we owned up to it? That's why I'm that's why I'm saving you now.
SPEAKER_03Well, you ain't saving me. I'm doing all I'm gonna save you. You ain't gonna come up to that. You're talking the circles that you ain't saying you ain't and what you said means nothing. Okay, it doesn't even make sense. Okay, hold on.
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna get I'm gonna get with her. So tell me how you would like to be saved. I don't need to be saved. What do you need? I don't need anything. Exactly. That's your problem. Come on, Delena.
SPEAKER_03Tell
What We Actually Need In A Partner
SPEAKER_03me what tell me what I need.
SPEAKER_01Was that the question?
SPEAKER_03Tell me what I need, please.
SPEAKER_01I'm asking the question. Is that I bet you he can't say that same question directed to me?
SPEAKER_03Yes, he can't say it.
SPEAKER_01What do I need? Yes, I need a partner. Yeah, that's yeah, that I need friendship, I need companionship. These are things I need from a man.
SPEAKER_04Okay. We need emotionally stability, emotional support.
SPEAKER_05Go on the circles, everybody. All the women tell me what you need from a man right now.
SPEAKER_03If I choose to have a man, I want a partner.
SPEAKER_01And it'd be nice if you know, financially.
SPEAKER_05I didn't ask you what you chose. We said what you need from a man.
SPEAKER_01I told you what I needed. I told you what I needed. I said it needed to be nice for the financial assistance, also. But what I need is not your bank account, it's what you want.
SPEAKER_05What you need, what you need from a man.
SPEAKER_04Emotional support.
SPEAKER_05You said 10 years, right?
SPEAKER_04Stability by choice. They spiritual aspect, gay spiritual side, because you know, I'm in the church and stuff, so I would like to have that as well from a man.
SPEAKER_07Okay. I like that.
SPEAKER_04Uh what else? Just you know, being my friend and my partner.
SPEAKER_05Okay. Yeah. What you need from a man. Say what she what she won't.
SPEAKER_03Tell me what you need because that need is ridiculous. You the one is what you want, not what you need. See, so the word choice is terrible. And you can't even saving. That's why you marry because I called you out. You need saving. No, you just need you need those words. You need those words to make you feel good. You need those words to make you feel saving. I don't need saving. And I didn't hit a little, hit a little bit.
SPEAKER_02Come on, tell me what you need from a man. I'm big on words too. So I will say, when God sends that man my way, I would like for my man to be God fearing, a praying man, a leader, a disciplined man, a creative man. I need an entrepreneurship mindset, man, though, for me. And that's that's why I say to each his own. I don't I don't want a nine to five for me. I'm just be honest, nothing wrong with it. But for me, because the way I think, it went really mixed. So that's how I feel. But God fearing. Yes.
SPEAKER_05Here's what I need from a woman. I need a woman.
SPEAKER_02Give me some of the finding.
SPEAKER_05I need I yeah, that too. But let me tell you what I need from a woman. I need a woman to be my sunshine, I need her to be my highlight of the day, and I need her to be my peace and serenity of the day. That's what I need from a woman. I need her to be my refuge in her heels. Uh-huh. I said, see, here you go again. Here you go again. So so we can already see, we can already see why it's a black cloud over the game.
SPEAKER_03You said it, baby.
SPEAKER_05I'm telling you what I need. I'm telling you what I need. I need peace and I need beauty. And high heels is just part of the aesthetic. You see, the beautiful, the beautiful fragrances is part of the aesthetic.
SPEAKER_02Wait, boss friend, so do you believe that your girl should just be that statement that like she should just come home, just be quiet and be cute and shut the foot?
SPEAKER_05Never. You so you believe your woman?
SPEAKER_02Never she has a voice, respect her voice, and want to hear about her day and her opinion.
SPEAKER_05Listen, I want to hear it all.
SPEAKER_02Beautiful. Okay. I want to hear it all. I want her to know that. That's all. That's nice. I want to hear it all.
SPEAKER_05I want to hear, I want to hear her at the job, I want to hear it all. Well, if she wants, if she wants to share that, but what I do just personally, I try to shield those things from her. I don't bring my day home. My day too hectic. So, you know, standing at standing 6'4, that's a tall height. So it's I get a lot of shots thrown at me every day. Oh man, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I don't pay them no attention. I don't pay it no mind. But I'll be your comfort if you ever want me somebody to talk to me.
SPEAKER_02What you said you need from a woman is just sweetness, is what you're saying. Peace, right? I need everybody.
SPEAKER_05I need sweetness when I need it. You feel what I'm saying? My father taught me a valuable lesson. Carl, life is like a Corvette. You don't have to speed all the time, but the power is there when you need it. I need you to be feminine when I need you to be feminine. I need you to be strong when I need
SPEAKER_02Need you to be strong, but I gotta say this. I actually have experienced both sides of it. I've experienced young guys mentally, not emotionally, and I've experienced the real man. So I can truly say that the soft side comes naturally when the man actually comes in leading in a way where it feels safe.
SPEAKER_05It feels like can a woman define for me.
SPEAKER_03But can I can let me let me ask you a question? Because I don't want to talk about Carl. I don't want to talk about you. I want to talk about that. I'm not talking about her question. I'm asking you.
SPEAKER_05So you ended my question for me.
SPEAKER_03You that you that powerful. Come on.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, we're gonna.
SPEAKER_03I think I ask you, can I ask you a question? I'm gonna buy you a punching bag. I asked you, can I ask you a question? Yes, ma'am. Okay, did I not? Do we need to rewind it? Ask me a question. Did I not? You can ask me whatever you want. So we're not gonna talk about car, we're gonna talk about the majority. We're gonna talk about the reality. We're gonna talk about the men that's really out here. Yes, okay. So our let's speak about that because you only speaking about yourself. We're not speaking about what's really going on in society with these men and these women for real. We want to only talk about you and how you are a real man.
SPEAKER_05She asked me a question. And I'm asking you a question. But now we can talk about the men out there. It's hard to be a man, it ain't easy.
SPEAKER_03Because that I mean, that's what this was like all about.
SPEAKER_05It ain't about it ain't about being a it's hard to be a man, Nina. It's hard to be a man. I agree. It's hard to be hard to be a man. It's hard to be a man. Okay, it's hard to be a man. A man is supposed to be blunt and to the point. I ain't talking about human and no man. It's hard to be that right there.
SPEAKER_02Do you think it's hard to be a woman?
SPEAKER_05Of course. Gotta be. So when I'm saying he that because you're gonna be a because you're gonna be a woman regardless. Every every man ain't a man. No, you're not, you're gonna be a male. It's a lot of males out here. It's not a lot of females out here, too. Yes, it is.
Final Thoughts And Listener Question
SPEAKER_05We thank you, but all cats are verified.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, for real.
SPEAKER_05We got a lot of cats coming out.
SPEAKER_00Let's be not a good thing.
SPEAKER_05Happy birthday to any cast coming in, any cash going out is verified. We like to thank the supporting cast of Let Us Become Sharper, including myself. We did a wonderful show today. We went live today. We love for you to chime in and tune in. Have you seen the polygamist? I like what's your views on the on the series? What's your views on polygamy? Period. We talked about women and men today, as you heard here today, right before your eyes. We laid a lot of emotion here on this table. We get heated and hot, but how else do you become sharper?
SPEAKER_06That's right. How do you come? How do you come sharper?
SPEAKER_05What don't sharpen iron? I ain't sharpening iron. Y'all went at Nina hard, but later on, I'm gonna come at her soul soft.
SPEAKER_00I worry about it.
SPEAKER_05Wait till the camera goes off. Wait till the camera goes off.
SPEAKER_02Y'all need to go watch the fullness and tell us what y'all think because as a filmmaker, they did great putting that together. Wait till you can't wait.
SPEAKER_05Wait till I holla at I'ma change her too.
SPEAKER_03You ain't gonna trust her. I'm gonna change her too.
SPEAKER_05Trust me. I'm gonna change it once and for all. When she comes back, she's gonna be fine.
SPEAKER_00It's a little dusty, little too. It won't happen.
SPEAKER_05So everybody out there be safe. Take care of yourself. I can you clearly see I got work to do. To the next time, so we'll see you again. Be safe out there, but stay dangerous. And to the next time, let us become sharper.
SPEAKER_00Peace.
