In this episode, Greylin Durbin interviews OJHS teacher Matt Rohn and a few of his students about the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, one of the most famous and challenging races in the world. This race takes place in the snowy wilderness of Alaska and covers more than 1,000 miles of difficult terrain. Mushers and their teams of sled dogs work together to travel from Anchorage to Nome while facing extreme cold, strong winds, and long days on the trail. Tune in to hear from 7th graders: Nicole Fortney, Joey Ortega, Ethan Swartz, and 8th grader Blake Miller talk about the project they completed for Mr. Rohn's classes. Then check out the live race here --> https://iditarod.com/
