I am getting ready to visit my sister and spend sometime refreshing and growing spiritually. I leave you with a message that I came across in a little booklet titled, “I Am An Idea written by Dr Jack Hyles. But before I get into this, I would recommend you can use the next 8-days beginning Nov 4th to get caught up on some of the previous messages. You will feel right as rain I guarantee it.

I am an ideas person because God is. This is how I got a patent, created museum quality cars, and done did a bunch of other creative things.

A friend of mine shared with me about a couple of ideas that he once had had. He told me that once he had shared them with some other so called friends, after hearing their perceived wise counsel he decided not to move forward with them. The thing about listening to advice from pigs who live in the very thing you are trying to escape is that you risk actually believing them over the word of God and what He instructs you to avoid:

Matt 7:6 - “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.

What were his ideas podcast Preacher? He thought of bottling water before anyone else was bottling water and of all places, within the lake arrowhead region. Those wise oinkers told him he was crazy because after all what fool would buy water in a bottle when you can simply turn on your tap. The other idea was to sell bagels in a shop that just sold bagels.  He also came up with this idea before one bagel shop existed in America. So, you see, if God gives you a creative idea and you decide to have a pork counseling party than you can expect the same results. This man could have been a billionaire x’s 100 with these ideas. Instead he is living nowhere close to that mark.

Oh now I know we might have listeners who will say but Podcast Preacher life is not about the money. Ah and I could with some certainty predict that you are not living your life to Gods expected full potential, and also that you are in all likelihood not a very generous person. Don’t live by the “me, myself, and I” currency. Broke is not another word for Holy, and poverty is not a spiritual gift:

Eccl 10:19 - A feast is made for laughter,
 And wine makes merry;
 But money answers everything.

Or

2 Cor 8:9 - For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
