Serve And Worship God Or You Will By Default Serve And Worship Demon Empowered False gods

Something has been standing out as I read the Bible cover to cover which is the phase and/or thought of serving other gods. Now I say cover to cover but what it is, is that I am reading the Ethiopian bible as it contains the whole bible canon as well as other books of which I would call solid historical records of various events. My study is on the events that will circle around meaning the connection between the book of Revelation back to Genesis. The scripture that is leading my study and research direction for 2026 is:

Luke 17:26-30 - 26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

I will give you “rapture” types an easter egg which is that both of these events, besides speaking of things of which I will momentarily discuss, also speak of a type of rapture. This is important for us to pay attention to because God is many things, but one thing for sure is that He is consistent. Notice how Noah, his family, and Lot and some of his family were removed from the scene of Gods wrath and judgement before Gods wrath and judgement fell upon those people who were unrepentant and willingly living in sin? Rapture all day long, the difference is that they didn’t get caught up, but they did get removed before Gods wrath fell upon those people so we call this a rapture type event similar to Paul’s, John’s, and Philip’s. You can give ear to my latest rapture type message titled, “Veloci-rapture” posted February 04, 2026 for my latest list of 10-biblically proven rapture and rapture-type events. Adding these two stories now makes it 12 rapture and rapture-type events, and but no worries because there is way more than that but how much evidence do we need to prove the consistency of God anyway?

Ok so what about the days of Noah and Lot? What is hidden in plain site and dodged by more pastors as the strange belief that certain messages in the bible are too controversial, so we don’t talk about them. In my vey last message titled, “Fractured from Birth End Time Clarification Beginning In Genesis and ending In Revelation”, I addressed how too many pastors and teachers pick and chose what they will speak on or teach on so as to maintain a spirit of inclusiveness. Let’s see if we can find a biblical definition of what this looks like:

I pray that in these very days that you would let your love be without hypocrisy, hate and loath what is evil, cling to what is good and righteous, be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor, giving preference to one another, not lagging in diligence, fervent and fully engulfed in spiritual fire, serving the Lord, rejoicing in hope, walking in the peace of God, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfast in prayer, distributing to the needs of the saints, that is each other, and as you would be given the hospitality. May the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like minded towards one another, according to Christ Jesus, that we learn to be of one mind, in one accord, operating completely and fully in love and unity, always striving for the working out of God's specific will for each of our lives, while working in partnership with each other within the church and the Holy Spirit, as He manifests His miracle signs and wonders through the daily activities of our ministry and kingdom work, and also while we go out preaching the gospel of the word indeed. I have been teaching that doctrine, the gospel, and the laws and ordinances of God are non negotiables, and never changing. Yet we see in these our very days how people within the church will seek to compromise the very thing the Bible warns us against. Okay, so there is around thirty scriptures that tell us to be watching for the return of Jesus, and what helps us is to be looking for signs and repeating events. And so now besides the giants, fallen sons of God, and the level of sins that are repeating events, we shift into this message to another repeating event, which is disastrous and produces the very world complex that we are currently living in, serving and worshiping other gods. And I gotta say right here, there are more people doing it than even themselves know. So are they real or aren't they? Yes, and well yes. Other gods are spoken about by God and Jesus, as well as a host of other biblical characters as existing. When God states in Google AI, for example, I might get a reaction saying that kind of stuff, but know that I'm just being funny, and but also trying to get your attention regarding what we are about to enter into. The Bible explicitly states that there is only one true God throughout both the Old and New Testaments, emphasizing exclusively and that no other gods exist besides Jehovah. Key verses include Deuteronomy six, four, Corinthians eight, four through six, and John seventeen three. Key biblical passages Deuteronomy six four. The Shema, hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Deuteronomy four thirty five. To you it was shown that you might know that the Lord Himself is God. There is no other besides him. Isaiah forty five. I am the Lord, and there is no other besides me, there is no God. John seventeen three, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. Corinthians eight four. We know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one. Timothy two five. For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ. Contextual understanding Monolarity versus monotheism. While the Bible acknowledges that people worship other gods, it clarifies these are false gods or idols, asserting only one creator, that is God. The Father is the only true God. In John seventeen three, Jesus calls the Father the only true God when praying. The Trinity. The Trinity teaches that the Father is the only true God, but that the Son and Holy Spirit are one with him in that divine nature. And but so that we understand what God is saying in these scriptures is that there is no other God in the position of God that God is in. I will pull a few scriptures to show you that even God Himself is addressing other gods. Now so the definition of other gods really is when mankind makes or creates images and idols and statues of what they think those gods look like and what they represent. And what happened is that they opened the door through that sin, and then these false gods can be empowered by the demonic realm. So this is what represents so called other gods, therefore not negating the fact that there really is only one true God. Okay, it's time to get busy. The Bible, particularly the Old Testament, as we look again at Google AI, addresses other gods by forbidding their worship and asserting their supremacy or sole existence of Yahweh, the Lord. Key passages include the first commandment, Exodus twenty three, which prohibits having other gods, and Isaiah forty four six, which declares Besides me there is no God, often highlighting the futility of idols. Key mentions of other gods in the Bible. The Ten Commandments and Law, you shall have no other gods before me. Exodus twenty three. God forbids worshiping the gods of surrounding nations, Deuteronomy six fourteen, and commands the destruction of their idols. Exodus thirty four thirteen. The Lord vs. other gods. God is often described as superior to other gods, asking who is like you, O Lord among the gods Exodus fifteen eleven and Psalm eighty six eight, declaring soul existence. In later prophetic books, God declares himself the only God, stating, I am the Lord and there is no other. Isaiah forty five five and forty six nine. Gods of other nations. The Bible mentions specific foreign deities, such as Baal, Judges two, thirteen, Molech, Leviticus eighteen, twenty one, and Chamosh, first Kings eleven, seven. Judgment on other gods. God warns that He will judge the gods of Egypt, Exodus twelve, twelve, and that idols are merely wood and stone, Deuteronomy twenty eight thirty six. Note in some context, the term gods lowercase refers to spiritual beings, heavenly beings, or angels in the divine council, Psalm eighty two, one through six, rather than actual divine rivals. Okay, so I'll leave that last sentence alone as that is a potentially future message, and but it is also true that the term lowercase gods does refer at times to spiritual beings, heavenly beings, or angels in divine council. Yes, there is a divine counsel, and if you refer back to Genesis when God said, Let us make man in our image and likeness, it is a very potential reality that counsel was present when he said this. Okay, so one more Google interjection about false gods so that you understand the distinction between them and the one true God, and by that you don't get misled into thinking that they don't exist. God tells the Israelites not to serve gods that they do not know, primarily in Deuteronomy thirteen two through six, where he warns against following other gods that they, nor their ancestors, have known. This warning prohibits following gods of surrounding nations or those introduced by false prophets. Emphasizing the exclusive worship of the Lord. Deuteronomy thirteen two through six explicitly warns against prophets or dreamers, encouraging the worship of other gods, which you have not known. Deuteronomy twenty nine six notes that the people served other gods that were not known to them, acting against the covenant. Second Kings seventeen thirty five mentions the covenant command not to fear or worship other gods. Context The warning is against adopting foreign deities and idols from the nation surrounding them. You must not listen. The scripture goes on to say death of the prophet that leads God's people to serving other gods. Of course that's my paraphrase. I think this is the biggest threat to our salvation. Let me clarify. In my estimation, sin is the keys that opens up the doors which invite demonic harassment and coercion. Coercion about what? To convince you to turn from the one true, loving God, and to turn and worship demonically empowered false gods, who have every intention to keep your gaze upon them until such time that they can find a way to kill, steal, and destroy your future with God. Now let's take a look at the statistics of how many times we have been warned by God to stick with him, least we turn to serving other gods. Notice he didn't bring up any other difficulty other than this one thing over and over and over again. Serving other gods. Making idols and molded images is the trapdoor to the religious and spiritual community. I believe there is more danger turning to other gods and serving them than there is in any other behavior that we can encounter in this life. And I'm not negating the rest of the Bible, but this one's a biggie. God is known for repeating things that are really important, and we get excited about it when he does it three or four times. But let's see how many times he talks about us turning away from him and that the impending result will always be that we will serve other gods and worship them, thus placing us in a position of getting God's judgment. Google Ai states The Bible prohibits serving or worshiping other gods over two hundred times. This command is central to Scripture, starting with the first of the Ten Commandments You shall have no other gods before me, Exodus twenty three, and spanning throughout both the Old and New Testaments. Key aspects of the Prohibition The First Commandment God demands exclusive worship, establishing that no other gods should be revered. Widespread reputation The warning appears consistently, covering not just active worship, but also not mentioning, following, or bowing down to other gods. Exodus twenty three thirteen and Deuteronomy six fourteen. Idolatry defined. The prohibition includes physical idols made of wood or stone and extends to anything that replaces God in a person's heart, such as greed, money, or personal desires. God's jealousy. The Bible frequently highlights that God is jealous and will not share his glory. Exodus twenty five and Isaiah forty two eight. New Testament relevance The Prohibition continues with New Testament verses encouraging believers to keep themselves from idols twenty one and to avoid idolatry. The prohibition is not just limited to bowing to statues, but a total prohibition against setting any other entity or desire above God. Notice for example what this commandment states you shall have no other gods before me. Have if they didn't exist, and there wasn't any chance that we could turn away from the one true God and his son, in which all of salvation came through his death and resurrection, to serve any of the other man made falsies made of silver, gold, wood, tin, brass, concrete, and plastics, then why did God say it over two hundred times in the Bible? And I would say he stated it a lot more than that, but I was looking for a specific line which excludes all of the other ways in which God told us not to serve other gods. And that specific line alone is stated over two hundred times. Are we paying attention in these days to the gods that we may have set up in our own homes? I know this could be a touchy subject, but nonetheless is true. Many people attend various martial arts academies, not knowing that the root of that form of self defense is rooted in false gods. Many attend yoga classes, which are also rooted in false gods. Many still get their palm red or go to crystal ball readings and seances. They might have a dreamcatcher hanging right in front of their kitchen window, or crystals you bought from a random rock show. Google AI has something to share with you. The feather wind chime is primarily associated with Shu, the ancient Egyptian god of air, wind, and dry, warm air. Shu is often depicted wearing an ostrich feather on his head, which symbolizes his name and his role as a personification of the atmosphere. And you just thought it was a bunch of cute little feathers. I could go on and on, but the point is that the occult is alive and well in America. People believe that white witches are nice witches. I would ask them to point out a nice demon and the attributes that it displays which would define it as nice. It's the exact same thing white witches tap into, the same dark power that black witches tap into. There is no distinction between nice and evil demons, between nice dark power and dark dark power. But in today's world we make distinctions so that we can get along with those who serve those false gods. How many Buddhist statues are sitting in people's gardens because they think they have a cute fat belly? I wonder if they could just see the door that has opened up into the demonic realm in their garden. If they could, they would take that Buddha statue and throw it off a cliff. I took an art class in Butte College back in my thirties, so that was about three decades ago. And they had us do a project. And I don't remember the parameters, but I remember coming home and essentially what I created was an altar worshiping a false god. Now I was unsaved and didn't know what in the world I was doing, but years later after I got saved I had a dream about that piece of art which I had long forgotten about, and in that dream I saw a bin and where that piece of art was placed long ago. I woke up, found the bin, and there it was. I looked at it closely to see why God had pointed it out to me in my dreams, and I saw that it was in the shape of an altar, and there was a little Buddha charm in the very corner of that thing. Just because I did it in ignorance doesn't mean that it was okay. In the creation of that artwork, I had used real silver and diamonds, which is what they did in the Old Testament when they created their altars to false gods. I am not sure if there's a distinction between ignorance and stupidity, but I think I had both of them working in my life at the time. If we're paying attention to God, God, He will show us how to purge those accidental altars that we may have established in our life out of our life. If you see any one of those altars, false statues, fat bellied little pigs, the Buddha ones, and a plethora of other things, imagine that they are simply keys that unlock the demonic realm, and once that realm is unlocked, it has permission through your unintentional sin. And although for many, it is intentional, and Satan has come to kill, steal, and destroy God's purpose in and for your life. Now this can sound like an intense message, and but it should. In my looking at Genesis through the book of Judges, it started to dawn on me that God seemed to have a primary focus with his people of making sure that they didn't do the things that they eventually did anyways, which is to turn away from him and then turn immediately to worshiping false gods. It seemed as though it was this or that him or them. Do I have a scripture that supports this or that spiritual ideology? Let us see. Matthew twelve thirty. He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters abroad. Okay, so what if you decide that you would rather serve false gods rather than the one true God? Then you have given Satan permission to bring spiritual deafness and spiritual blindness into your life, which is why you cannot hear the gospel. Whose minds the God of this age has blinded, who do not believe, least the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is in the image of God, should shine on them. You've actually chosen to be spiritually blind, as opposed to spiritually alive. All by choice. Anyone who would want to be blind to the salvation line of Jesus is baffling to me. Hell is your reward and eternal destiny, and you will have willingly chosen to have gone there in your rejecting worshiping and serving the one true God. Ah the eternal agony of that decision, a decision that you could have changed while living on this earth. It pains me to think of how full hell will be of those who just couldn't lay down their pride and would have sought out the truth, and in so doing would have rescued their own soul from hell. Even if you lived for a thousand years on this planet, I cannot see the value exchange of living in a fallen world for a thousand years, had you owned everything on this planet, and then to surrender it all and end up in hell for eternity, essentially forfeiting an eternity living with a God who was called love, and had left you a door that you could have walked through to have saved your soul, and that door we know him as Jesus, the only true Savior of all mankind. And finishing this shorty, which could be a thirty volume book, fairly easily, it is my hope that you will read, for example, just through the first five books of the Bible, and see how often God is telling his people to be careful when they mix with those who don't believe of him. In fact, in the Old Testament, he said don't mix with them, for that very reason. He also said do not turn away from him, because in doing so you will serve their gods. The Bible documents Israel turning from God to worship other gods frequently, particularly throughout Judges, Kings, and Chronicles. Key instances include Judges two, twelve through thirteen, and chapter ten, verse six, first Samuel eight, eight, second Kings seventeen, seven through eighteen, and second Chronicles seven, nineteen through twenty two, portraying a reoccurring cycle of idolatry, often described as abhorring after or serving new strange gods. Key occurrences Judges two twelve through thirteen. You see, you can't forsake God and then go into a place of neutrality. There is no neutrality. You're either for him or you're against him. Judges ten six, they serve Baals, Ashtaraz, and gods of Syria, Sedon, Moab, Amon, and Philistia. Second Kings seventeen, seven through eighteen lists how the children of Israel feared other gods after being brought out of Egypt. Which is strange because all of those famines were about God dealing with the gods associated with each event. Second Chronicles seven, nineteen through twenty two. God warned Solomon about the consequences of turning away to serve other gods. And guess what? Solomon turned and worshipped other gods. His heart had departed from the god who made him the wisest and wealthiest king to have ever existed. Which just proves wisdom from heaven and money from heaven will not stop you from being a dummy. Be careful who you marry, and no that's not a slam on women, but be careful who you marry. Thematic pattern This phrase serves as a summary of Israel's spiritual history in the Old Testament, representing a repeated whoring after other gods. While a specific, exact count of every reference is difficult, these instances represent a consistent pattern across multiple historical and prophetic books. Additionally, Google AI states when I asked how many times Israel had turned away to worship other false gods. While there is no single specific number to that, it states for the entire Bible, the theme of Israel turning from God to serve others is a recurring cycle. The most explicit accounts and descriptions of the behavior are found in the following ways. The cycle in the book of Judges The Book of Judges is the most structured account of this behavior, describing a repeating cycle of apostasy, sin, servitude, supplication, and salvation. General count, most scholars identify six or seven distinct cycles of apostasy throughout the book where the Israelites did evil in the sight of the Lord and served other gods. Pay attention to how those two things are connected. When they did evil in the sight of the Lord, it wasn't that they started lying to one another and stealing stuff and staying up past midnight. When they did evil in the sight of the Lord, it was because they were serving other gods. And I'm not saying that other stuff is okay, but again, this is a big one. The twelve judges, some interpretations count the cycle occurring twelve times, corresponding to each of the twelve judges raised to deliver them. The distinction between uppercase and lowercase, referring to the differences when identifying God, uppercase, or gods, lowercase, did not exist in the original Hebrew or Greek manuscripts. This is a modern English translation convention used to distinguish between the Almighty and other entities according to eternal perspective ministries. So what this means is that it would be difficult to fully research the lowercase gods versus the uppercase gods so that you could see when God was talking about God, about Himself, or angels or humans, or those in His council, or the false gods, who are oftentimes empowered by demons. The clearest way to get the fullest impact of this message is to simply begin reading Genesis through Revelation and highlighting, underlining, or both all along the way. A number of times God warns his own people that if they stray away from him, they will be drawn to other gods, and this has always resulted in the judgment of God falling on his people. And are we any different today in terms of heeding or not heeding his warning in America? Look at the warning God gives to a rebellious humanity that even though they were warned in advance, we still went ahead and did it as if we should test God. Romans one twenty three, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and birds and four footed animals and creepy things. Exodus twenty four, you shall not make for yourself a carved image, any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Are you in support of green peace and how they elevate animals above the very lives of humans? They're serving a god, but it's not the god. Being then God's offspring, we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man. God is like a parent who spends all that they have, gives all that they have, stays awake, losing countless hours as he waits for your returning to him. Don't adopt the concept or idea that he is anything but the personification of the most outstanding parent one could have. He who went so far as to give his only son to face death on a cross, so that you might perchance gaze upon it and ask or wonder why he would do that for you while you spit in his face, rejected him at every turn, ignored all of his signs, that would have led you straight to him. And yet, while you were in the midst of your rebellion against him in every way, Jesus looked to the Father and said, Forgive them, but they don't know what they're doing. If you come away from this story that is the story of Jesus Christ, with an idea that you could never adopt such a person into your life who would give somebody that you could meet his father one day in heaven. And well maybe, not and just maybe, it was never in you to do so in the first place. But I do pray that I am in this manner. Let's close and pray. May the Lord make you increase in abandoned love to one another, so that he may establish your heart's blameless in holiness before you're God through the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ of His name.
